Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth how the management strategies of the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program are implemented to improve the quality of Qur’an memorization among students at Ma’had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and systematic field observations. The results show that the implementation of structured and sustainable management strategies—including activity planning, selection of appropriate teaching methods, and regular evaluation of memorization—has a significant positive impact on improving students' memorization achievements. In addition, intensive guidance and consistent supervision also play an important role in maintaining the quality of memorization and students’ overall learning motivation.

Abstract

This study is a research on product development of learning evaluation media based on Kahoot Social Studies lesson management material in class X SMAN 1 Blega Bangkalan. This study aims to (1) determine the media evaluation tool based on kahoot learning in class X student management materials. (2) Knowing the media motivation of Kahoot-based learning evaluation tool on management material in class X (3) Knowing the improvement of student X's learning on management material by using kahoot. This development research was conducted using the ADDIE model which consisted of several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Based on this research, for the assessment of material experts, media experts, field practice (teachers) the percentage score of the material aspect is 72% with the (adequate) category, the media aspect is 80% with the (adequate) category, the field practice (teacher) aspect of 100% with the category (Very Eligible). Based on the response of students' learning motivation, it was initially increased by 1850 after using the learning evaluation tool media through kahoot by 2211, experiencing an increase in the number of 361.

Abstract

School field introduction program is intended to solidify academic and educational field competencies through various activities in schools. The aim of this research is to analyze the various responses of students in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan towards the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) II, and to identify internal and external factors that can act as supports or obstacles for students in the implementation of the PLP II program in partner schools or laboratory schools for achieving sustainability in education. This research is quantitative with a descriptive approach and utilizes a survey method. The population of this research includes active odd-semester students in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, class of 2016, totaling 324 students. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error, resulting in a sample size of 179 student respondents. Data collection was conducted online using a questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed descriptively and presented in percentages using SPSS. The results of this study show that the responses of students in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan towards the PLP II program are categorized as very high, with a percentage of 42.5%. The research findings on internal and external factors are also categorized as very high, with percentages of 58.9% and 62.0%, respectively, indicating that internal and external factors can serve as support for the PLP II program. Thus, this research can serve as a benchmark for the success of students in implementing the PLP II program for achieving sustainability in education.

Abstract

Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak, yang terletak di provinsi Jawa Barat, yang terdiri dari pegunungan Gunung Halimun dan Gunung Salak, adalah salah satu kawasan konservasi penting di Indonesia karena keanekaragaman hayati yang luar biasa. Cikaniki memiliki banyak keanekaragaman flora dan fauna yang ada di dalamnya tak terkecuali Pisces. Pisces merupakan kelompok vertebrata yang hidup di perairan dengan menggunakan sirip untuk bergerak dan menjaga keseimbangan tubuh dan memiliki jumlah spesies yang beraneka ragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis anggota hewan vertebrata terutama jenis Pisces di Sungai Desa Citalahab, Cikaniki Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jelajah bebas dan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 hari pada tanggal 1 Mei- 3 Mei 2024. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa spesies Pisces antara lain Xiphophorus hellerii, Glyptothorax platypogon valenciennes, Gambusia affinis, Rasbora elegans, Monopterus albus, Channa striata, dan Puntius binotatus. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa didapati 8 spesies anggota Pisces yang dapat ditemukan di Sungai Desa Citalahab, Cikaniki Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak.

Abstract

This article was motivated by students who are less active and do not participate in the learning process. The learning process was still teacher-centered. The response of students in learning was still lacking and students do not like English in class XI of SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. Most of the English language scores of students' learning outcomes are still below the KKM 75, in this case, it can be seen from the results of the first semester English exam in SMKN 4 Payakumbuh class. This study aims to determine whether there was a significant difference between students who used learning media using blogs and students who do not used blogs in learning exposition texts at SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. This study used a quantitative approach in the form experiment. The design of this study used was the pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study amounted to 7 classes with a total of 172 students. The number of samples was 2 classes, namely, class XI.TKJ 2 as the experimental class and class XI.TKJ 3 as the control class. The researcher used Simple Random Sampling technique. In this study, the researcher used a normality test and a homogeneity test, while to test the hypothesis; the researcher used a t-test with alpha (0.05). The results of this study indicate that the t-count value of the SPSS results is 6.422 and the t-table value is 2.060 so that t-count> t-table then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It was proved that using blog as writing could help students in improving their ability in writing. Artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peserta didik yang kurang aktif dan kurang berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Respon peserta didik dalam pembelajaran masih kurang dan peserta didik kurang menyenangi bahasa inggris dikelas XI SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. Sebagian besar nilai bahasa inggris hasil belajar peserta didik masih berada dibawah KKM 75 dalam hal ini dilihat dari hasil ujian bahasa Inggris tengah semester I di kelas SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan yang signifikan antar siswa yang menggunakan media pelajaran menggunakan blog dengan siswa yang belajar dengan tidak menggunakan media blog dalam pembelajaran teks eksposisi di sekolah SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentuk eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah pretest posttest group control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tujuh kelas dengan banyak siswa seluruhnya 172 siswa. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu, kelas XI.TKJ 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI.TKJ 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Peneliti menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan tes normalitas dan tes homogenitas, sedangkan untuk menguji hypothesis peneliti menggunakan uji-t dengan alpha (0,05). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai t-hitung dari hasil spss sebesar 6,422 dan t-tabel diperoleh nilai sebesar 2.060 sehingga t-hitung>t-tabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga bisa disimpulkan baha menggunakan media blog dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam menulis.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of animated video learning media in the Natural Sciences subject for Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 4 Glenmore. The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes and the limited availability of learning media at school, which affects students' learning interest. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is carried out in two cycles and consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 28 Grade IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Glenmore. Data collection techniques were conducted through learning outcome tests, including pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the study show that the use of animated video media can improve student learning outcomes in each cycle, with a pre-cycle average score of 70.53 and a mastery percentage of 43%, which increased in the first cycle to an average of 81.60 and a mastery percentage of 68%, and further increased in the second cycle to an average of 91.25 and a mastery percentage of 96%. Thus, animated video learning media are effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelami kedalaman lirik lagu “Bentang Sagara” oleh The Panturas, dengan mengeksplorasi bagaimana makna disampaikan melalui lensa semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure. Penelitian ini menyoroti konsep-konsep kunci seperti hubungan antara penanda dan petanda, serta struktur sintagmatik dan paradigmatik, disertai dengan perspektif sinkronik dan diakronik untuk mengungkap lapisan budaya dan sosial dalam lirik lagu. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa “Bentang Sagara” menyampaikan pesan mendalam tentang perjalanan emosional kehidupan pencarian jati diri, pengalaman kehilangan, dan kekuatan dalam memberi maaf. Liriknya yang kaya akan diksi puitis berbahasa Sunda dan bahasa simbolik memberikan resonansi yang kuat bagi para pendengar, merefleksikan pengalaman manusia yang universal dan lanskap emosi batin yang mendalam.

Abstract

The integration of technology in education, particularly in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses, has become increasingly important in providing students with effective and engaging language learning experiences. However, traditional teaching methods have long been criticized for their inability to engage students and promote active participation in the learning process. Thus, this study explored the impact of Slido, an interactive platform, on classroom engagement and learning outcomes in an ESP course. The research design employed mixed methods, including a questionnaire to collect data from ESP students. The findings indicated that Slido technology influenced students' perceptions of classroom engagement, motivation, and satisfaction. The interactive features of Slido, such as quizzes, polls, and surveys, fostered immediate feedback and increased student engagement. ESP teachers were encouraged to incorporate interactive technology like Slido to enhance student learning experiences, while students were encouraged to actively participate in such activities. Further research was recommended to investigate the long-term effectiveness of Slido technology, as well as its impact on ESP teachers' practices and professional development. Overall, Slido technology shows the potential in transforming ESP classrooms into interactive and engaging learning environments. It has the potential to revolutionize language learning and provide students with practical language skills for real-world contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi fungsi Festival Tampil Bercahaya dan Berkarya dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan kreativitas anak-anak usia sekolah dasar di Desa Limau Sundai, Kecamatan Binjai Barat, Kota Binjai. Festival ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dirancang untuk memberi ruang ekspresi diri melalui lomba mewarnai, cerdas cermat, dan pertunjukan bakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan anak-anak, orang tua, serta penyelenggara kegiatan, dan dokumentasi proses festival. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa festival mampu menjadi wadah positif dalam mendorong keberanian anak untuk tampil di hadapan publik, serta memicu kreativitas melalui kolaborasi dan eksplorasi seni. Selain itu, interaksi sosial yang terbangun selama kegiatan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan bersosialisasi anak. Tanggapan positif dari masyarakat dan orang tua menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini memberikan dampak nyata terhadap perkembangan karakter anak. Kesimpulannya, festival edukatif ini berperan penting dalam pengembangan menyeluruh anak dan layak dijadikan model dalam program serupa di lingkungan masyarakat pedesaan.

Abstract

Hiperemesis gravidarum (HEG) merupakan mual dan muntah berat yang terjadi selama kehamilan dan dapat menyebabkan dehidrasi, gangguan elektrolit, serta penurunan status gizi ibu hamil. Di Indonesia HEG tercatat sebesar 14,8% dari seluruh kehamilan. Di Provinsi Riau, dari 49,7% pada tahun 2020 menjadi 53,24% pada tahun 2022. Penanganan kondisi ini dapat dilakukan secara farmakologis maupun nonfarmakologis, salah satunya melalui penggunaan aromaterapi lemon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas aromaterapi lemon dalam mengurangi mual dan muntah pada ibu hamil dengan hiperemesis gravidarum di Ruangan Khadijah RSUD Bangkinang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment jenis one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2025. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu hamil trimester pertama dengan hiperemesis gravidarum yang dirawat pada bulan Oktober hingga Desember 2024 sebanyak 20 orang, dengan sampel sebanyak 16 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diberikan aromaterapi lemon, seluruh responden mengalami mual muntah berat. Setelah pemberian aromaterapi lemon, seluruh responden mengalami penurunan intensitas mual muntah menjadi kategori ringan. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara skor mual muntah sebelum dan sesudah intervensi (p = 0,000). Kesimpulan yaitu aromaterapi lemon efektif dalam mengurangi mual dan muntah pada ibu hamil dengan hiperemesis gravidarum di Ruangan Khadijah RSUD Bangkinang. Disarankan kepada tenaga kesehatan, khususnya bidan, untuk mempertimbangkan penggunaan aromaterapi lemon sebagai metode nonfarmakologis dalam menangani mual dan muntah.
