Abstract

The purpose of this research to produce student worksheets scientific based on the demands of the 2013 curriculum to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school V students on thematic learning worthy of use in the learning process. This type of research is research and development. The data collection techniques conducted by researchers is a poll and a test. This research findings in the form of learning media is a scientific-based student worksheet. Based on the validation results of the media expert, the percentage of eligibility gained as much as 94%. Results obtained from validation by the material members as much as 95%. The results of the student response poll as much as 97%. Based on the results of the pretests the average critical thinking skill of 35, in the postest result of an average score of 96.66. While the N-gain score increased critical thinking skills of 0.95 with the category high. Thus, it can be concluded that the students' critical thinking skills have increased based on five critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in education has grown in popularity, especially in online assessments. This research evaluates the effectiveness of an AI-based online testing platform, Classtime.com, in teaching tenses in English for Specific Purposes (ESP). The study uses a mixed-methods approach, collecting data from 246 Economic Sharia Law students who took the midterm exam during the 2022-2023 school year. The results show that the average score on the exam was 88.21, indicating a high overall performance. Females scored higher and more consistently than males. The study suggests that Classtime.com's AI-based testing is an effective tool for teaching tenses in ESP assessment, providing immediate feedback and personalized learning experiences. However, the study's focus on one language subject limits its generalizability to other subjects. Nevertheless, the use of AI-based online testing in ESP assessment can improve language learning outcomes and contribute to effective teaching practices. Future research should explore the use of AI-based online testing platforms in other language subjects, investigate factors influencing student performance, and examine long-term effects on language learning outcomes and attitudes toward language education and assessment.

Abstract

Pseudomonas fluorescens is one of the antagonist bacteria because it has the ability to induce systemic resistance. P. fluorescens has also been reported to increase the content of phenolic compounds in plants. These bacterium are widely used as biological agents for fungi, pathogenic bacteria and viruses in plants. The research method used in this research is the TPC method. The average number of P. fluorescens bacterial colonies obtained on each of the soybean, peanut and mung bean extract media was 1,68 x 108 CFU/ml, 4,44 x 108 CFU/ml and 6,08 x 108 CFU/ml. The purpose of this study was to determine which media was more effective against P. florescens bacteria in its growth on liquid extracts of soybean, peanut, and mung bean. The results indicate that the most effective media for the growth of P. fluorescens bacteria was the liquid media of mung bean extract, with an average total colony count of 6,08 x 108 CFU/ml.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kekompakan anggota kelompok tani di Kecamatan Sungai Bahar Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kekompakan anggota kelompok tani adalah kepemimpinan kelompok tani, homogenitas anggota kelompok tani, dukungan dan pengakuan dari pemerintah, dan dukungan dan pengakuan dari tokoh masyarakat. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode acak sederhana ( Simple Random Sampling). Data yang di peroleh dari responden terlebih dahulu disederhanakan secara tabulasi kemudian di analisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Skoring digunakan untuk kuantitatifkan data kualitatif. Untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi kekompakan anggota kelompok tani dilakukan dengan Uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keikutsertaan anggota kelompok tani dalam kegiatan di dalam kelompok tani relatif baik dimana ada 92,1 % anggota aktif dalam kelompok. Keikutsertaan anggota kelompok dalam kegiatan-kegiatan di dalam kelompok tani di pengaruhi oleh faktor kepemimpinan kelompok tani, homogenitas anggota kelompok tani, dukungan dan pengakuan dari pemerintah, dukungan dan pengakuan dari tokoh masyarakat. Pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% terdapat hubungan yannng sangat nyata antara kepemimpinan kelompok tani, homogenitas anggota kelompok tani, dukungan dan pengakuan dari pemerintah,dukungandan pengakuan dari tokoh masyarakat di Kecamatan Sungai Bahar. Kata kunci : faktor, pengaruh, kekompakan kelompok.

Abstract

This study utilizes Twinkl.com (Twinkl Educational Publishing), an educational platform, to empower teachers and students by providing materials and resources, especially English for your learners (EYL). The methodology follows a service-learning (SL) approach, involving needs assessment, community engagement, curriculum development, teacher training, interactive student sessions, ongoing support, and monitoring. Research findings indicate initial unfamiliarity among teachers with Twinkl.com, but all find it convenient. Successes include increased teacher confidence and student enthusiasm, while challenges involve language English teachers and students' limitations with materials available in English. Overall, these findings show the positive impact of Twinkl.com on early childhood education, promising an enriched and dynamic English learning experience for young learners in preschool and kindergarten.

Abstract

There were 399 pregnant women who suffered from COVID-19 in Padang in 2021 and the highest number of cases happened in Andalas Health Center. The Objective of this research was to determine the influence of health counseling using online and offline media about covid-19 prevention on the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of pregnant women in the work area of Andalas Health Center of Padang in 2022. This research was a quasy experiment with a two-group pre-posttest group design. The research was carried out in the work area of Andalas Health Center Padang on March 2021 - August 2022. The population was all pregnant women in Andalas Health Center Padang and the samples were 60 pregnant women in two groups; 30 cases and 30 controls. The bivariate analysis used Wilcoxon and Paired Sample T-Test, p <0,05. There was an influence of counseling on knowledge, attitudes, and actions in online media groups (p=0.027, p=0.039, and p=0.032). There was an influence of counseling on knowledge and action (p=0,010; p=0,024) but there was no influence on attitudes in the offline media group (p=0,063). There were differences in the influence of health counseling on preventing COVID-19 used online and offline media with different means were 1.7, 12.7, and 1,7. In conclusion, there was differences in the influence of health counseling using online and offline media on COVID-19 prevention on the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of pregnant women and health counseling using offline media was better than the online. Keywords: Knowledge, Attitudes, Actions, Prevention of COVID-19, Pregnant Women.

Abstract

The development of this interactive learning Multimedia was made as an effort to utilize the use of Microsoft Office Power Point media, and can develop every year, and has an impact on students. This research aims to produce a learning multimedia product in Geography class XI of high school that is valid and practical. This type of research is R&D using the Four-D (4D) model consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Product validation consists of media validation and material validation. The practicality test was carried out for students in grade XI of SMAN2 Sutera. Based on the research of the material validator, 4.81 is classified as "very valid", 4.82 media validation results are classified as "very valid". This interactive multimedia is classified as "very practical" with a score of 4.76.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the work environment and individual characteristics simultaneously on public services, to determine the influence of the work environment partially influencing public services and to determine individual characteristics partially influencing public services at the Alim Village Office, Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Regency. Upstream. Using quantitative methods, the data analysis used is multiple linear analysis using the SPSS program. The sample in this research consisted of 89 respondents who had provided services at the Alim Village Office. This research was conducted from September 30 2022. The research results of the Work Environment and Individual Characteristics simultaneously influence Public Services, the Work Environment partially influences Public Services, Individual Characteristics partially influence Public Services.

Abstract

Abstrak Model pembelajaran langsung adalah suatu pendekatan mengajar yang dapat membantu siswa mempelajari keterampilan dasar dan memperoleh informasi yang dapat diajarkan selangkah demi selangkah Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran langsung pada pembuatan kerajinan bros dengan teknik manual serta (2) hasil belajar siswa. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X.3 SMA Negeri 1 Sukomoro Nganjuk sebanyak 35 siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif, sedangkan metode penelitian dilaksankan dengan melakukan serangkaian observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, serta lembar soal tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa teori dan hasil praktek siswa dalam pembuatan kerajinan bros dengan teknik manual. Dari hasil analisis data yang telah diperoleh sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruahan (1) aktivitas guru dalam pengelolaan kegiatan belajar mengajar dalam penerapan model pembelajaran langsung pembuatan kerajinan bros dengan teknik manual berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh kedua observer menunjukan hasil prosentase mencapai 91% dan sesuai dengan kriteria aktivitas guru (80%-100%) dapat dikategorikan sangat baik, (2) aktivitas siswa selama proses belajar dalam penerapan model pembelajaran langsung pada pembuatan kerajinan dengan teknik manual berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh kedua observer menunjukkan hasil prosentase mencapai 94% dan sesuai dengan kriteria aktivitas siswa (80%-100%) dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. (3) Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa adalah sebesar 86,4. Jumlah ketuntasan siswa yaitu sebanyak 32 siswa dinyatakan tuntas dan 3 siswa dinyatakan tidak tuntas, prosentase ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal mencapai sebesar 91,4%. Jadi penerapan pembelajaran langsung dapat dikatakan berhasil (tuntas). The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the activity of teachers and behavior of students with application of learning models directly in manufacturing crafts brooch with manual techniques, and (2) the results of studying students. The target of this research is grade students X.3 SMA Negeri 1 SUKOMORO Nganjuk of 35 students. Kind of research is the type of scrutiny descriptive, whereas research methods up exercise by doing a series of observations of activity teachers and activity of students during the learning process going on, and the strands question test to find out the results of studying students theory and proceeds practice students in making crafts brooch with manual techniques. From the analysis of the data gathered so it can be concluded that in overall(1) The activity of the teacher in the management of learning and teaching activities in the application of learning models directly manufacture craft brooch with manual techniques based on the observations made by the Observer shows the results of the percentage reached 91% and according to criteria activity teachers (80% -100%) can be classified as very good, (2) activity of students during the learning process in the application of learning models directly in manufacturing craft with manual techniques based on the observations made by the Observer shows the results of the percentage reached 94% and according to criteria activity students (80% -100%) can be classified as very good. (3) The average value of the learning outcomes of students is as big as 86.4. Total completeness students namely by 32 students expressed complete and 3 students stated not exhaustive, the percentage completeness learn classical be as much as 91.4%. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan learning cycle terhadap hasil belajar statistika pada siswa MTs. Darul Muhajirin. Model pembelajaran learning cycle adalah model pembelajaran yang menyarankan agar proses pembelajaran dapat melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar yang aktif. Learning cycle dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 7 tahapan atau 7e, yaitu elicit, engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, evaluation, dan extand. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain Quasi eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling sehingga dalam penelitian ini yang dijadikan kelas eksperimen yaitu siswa kelas VII A yang berjumlah 22 orang dan siswa kelas VII B yang berjumlah 23 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu berupa lembar tes dengan 15 soal pilihan ganda dan 4 soal uraian. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model digunakan uji-t dengan rumus polled varian. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan analisis data diperoleh nilai thitung  = 2,06 dan ttabel = 2,017 pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk = 45, maka thitung > ttabel. Karena thitung > ttabel maka hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran learning cycle berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar statistika pada siswa MTs. Darul Muhajirin
