Abstract

This article challenges the assumption that teacher training programs need not to be based on data-informed decision making. It argues that such an approach neglects the contextual factors and the agency of the teachers in shaping their own professional development. Using a qualitative research method, the article presents a multiple case study of three islamic elementary schools in Pekalongan, Indonesia that have implemented data-informed teacher training programs. The findings reveal that teacher forums play a crucial role in determining the content and format of the training programs, that islamic teachers face various challenges in adapting to the digital era, and that the foundation management has a significant influence on the quality and sustainability of the training programs. The article concludes that teacher training programs should be more responsive to the needs and preferences of the teachers, rather than being imposed by mere trends and trial and error.

Abstract

This article examines the role of private Islamic schools in Indonesia in providing education and fostering religious values among their students. It argues that the Indonesian government has failed to ensure equal access to quality education for all citizens and to instill a strong sense of religious identity in them. The objective of the article is to highlight the strategies employed by private Islamic schools in building students' religious character, which is seen as an essential component of their education. The article adopts a qualitative method with a multiple-case study approach on three private Islamic schools in Pekalongan, a city known for its Islamic culture and tradition. The article identifies three main strategies that the school foundation management uses to nurture students' religious character: daily supervision, monthly guidance session, and warm personal communication. The article concludes with a recommendation that the government should recognize and support the contribution of private Islamic schools in developing their own curriculum that reflects their religious vision and values.

Abstract

Di Kabupten Blitar terdapat anak dengan orang tua depresi menunjukkan dirinya mengalami masalah ketakutan di masa kanak-kanaknya. Tujuan penelitian ini memahami gejala-gejala gangguan emosi dan dinamika psikologis anak dengan orang tua depresi yang masih belum dipahami. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data-data dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini berbeda dengan penelitian terdahulu karena telah mendapati hasil bahwa anak dengan orang tua depresi berpotensi mengalami gangguan emosi yakni Gangguan Anxietas Fobik Masa Kanak. Namun, anak tersebut masih memiliki perilaku dan kognitif yang baik.Kata Kunci : Orang Tua, Depresi, Anak, Gangguan Emosi.

Abstract

Marketing communication and promotion is the most essential thing in brand development. As a brand, Malang should apply it in order to compete with other cities, more particularly in terms of economic, social, cultural and tourism sector. Malang has potentials that will attract both visitors and investors. City branding should become one of the government’s focus to build its brand. It is the manifestation of city marketing in which objective is to highlight its strength. Based on the researchers’ observation, Malang has yet had attracting city branding composition. The objectives of the research were to collect and analyze all potential assets Malang had to strengthen its identity as a tool to form  city branding. It provided a suggestion to Malang City government in a form of tagline positioning and promotion strategy. The researchers developed a city branding concept for the city and came up with a tagline associated with Malang. The study used qualitative approach and in-depth interview. Based on the analysis, the researcher suggests a tagline “Your Home Sweet Home” as a part of Malang city branding. In addition, the researchers also proposed minor and major proposition. The minor proposition was education sector was the biggest asset Malang had. Therefore, there should be integration between the sector and other activities more particularly ones related to the culture, history and local wisdom of Malang. Furthermore, the major proposition was every city should explore its differentiation that will attract visitors and investors.

This study aims to determine the effect of planting media on the success of  white rombusa stem cuttings and get the best planting media. The research was conducted at Bening Multi Flora Garden of Ampera Kota Baru Pontianak from March 30 - May 10, 2017. The design used Completely Randomized Design with treatment m1 = PMK soil (kontrol),  m2 = PMK soil andcharcoal husk(1:1), m3 = PMK soil andcow manure(1:1),        m4 = PMK soil and charcoal husk(2:1), m5 = PMK soil and cow manure(2:1),  m6 = PMK soil, charcoal husk, and cow manure. Observation parameters Percentage of live cuttings (%), Leaf emeration time (days), Number of shoots (fruit), Number of leaves (length), (cm), Root length (cm). Planting medium has an effect on to success of stem of  white rombusa and treatment PMK soil and cow manure (1:1) gives the best influence to the success percentage variable of live cut 70,85, Number of shoots 3,25,Number of leaves 8,00, Shoot length 6,05 and Root lengt 5,05 compared with other treatment. Keywords: Charcoal Husk, Cow Manure, Soil PMK

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to understand the effect of Firm Size, Leverage, Sales Growth and Profitability on Tax Avoidance in pharmaceutical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2021 period. This research uses secondary data where the sampling technique is using purposive sampling technique, the samples used in the research are 11 companies in the pharmaceutical sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2021, then 31 data are obtained which are used for research implementation samples. . The source of data in this study was obtained from the website (www.idx.co.id). The implementation of the following research uses a multiple linear regression model using SPSS 19 to carry out an analysis of the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable used in the research implementation. The results obtained from the following research activities show that firm size and profitability have no effect on efforts to avoid tax or tax avoidance. Meanwhile, leverage and sales growth have an effect on tax avoidance

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum aims to ensure common understanding in improving the quality of education at all levels of education. This curriculum model underscores fostering students' independence, creativity, and learning skills, positioning students as active learners. Assessing the understanding of teachers and students as respondents' representation of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN Warungdowo 1 is the main objective of this study. Mixed responses from respondents who revealed the substantial feasibility of implementing the curriculum and acknowledged its flexibility in tailoring the learning experience to student needs, challenges remain, including inadequate training, support, resource constraints, and curriculum adjustments are the findings of this study. Overcoming these hurdles requires additional support through the provision of resources and teacher training. In addition, encouraging effective collaboration between schools, educators, students, parents, and government is essential to strengthen the effectiveness of the Merdeka Curriculum. The contribution of research provides a comprehensive understanding of the application of the Merdeka Curriculum which is essential in improving the effectiveness of adapting curriculum policies that are not partial in the context of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This article examines the manuscript Kamus Mu’jam al-Qur’an, a collection of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The manuscript is not merely a source of religious texts, but it also embodies certain characteristics that reflects the history, traditions and values encapsulated within it. This study aims to describe the charac­teristics of the manuscript using philology as the primary method, with codicology and textology as the two main approaches. The codicological aspects of this manuscript indicates that Kamus Mu’jam Al-Qur’an en­com­­passes vocabulary found in the Qur’an. It is written in Arabic and consists of a single piece with 37 pages. The manuscript, threaded and non-uniform in paper and text size (21 x 17 cm), employs khat naskhi with black ink as the primary color, while certain marks utilize green and red ink. Additionaly, textual aspects of it describes Kamus Mu’jam al-Qur’an including several scholia, such as corrections for written errors, vocabu­lary, letter descriptions, reading marks, wakaf signs and lists of invalid texts. The major finding of this study is the eight keywords: al-Asrār, dīnu yusr, ihsān, abrār, sulḥ, ‘ilm, ‘adamu taqlīd, and al-‘amal that were not typical to other dictionaries. This study contributes significantly by providing fresh insights into the importance of the Kamus Mu’jam al-Qur’an as a source of knowledge and understanding how this manuscript has been preserved over time. It also sheds light on the evolution of Quranic studies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan bahan pembelajaran berupa trainer Mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32 dengan penekanan pada IoT dan Bluetooth untuk mata pembelajaran Pemrograman dan Aplikasi Mikrokontroler kelas 11 TAV. Pendekatan riset dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan mempergunakan uji coba Studi Kasus Satu-Sesi. Riset ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 2 Surabaya dengan subjeknya pada kelas 11 Teknik Audio Video 1, melibatkan 34 siswa dari total 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tinjauan hasil kevalidan media menunjukkan angka keakuratannya sebesar 93%, sehingga bisa digolongkan sebagai tingkat validitas yang tinggi; (2) analisis keefektifan menunjukkan skor rata-rata sebesar 79,35 (KKM=75), atau dapat disimpulkan bahwa mean pencapaian kompetensi siswa melewati KKM; (3) analisis keefektifan juga menunjukkan skor sebesar 88,8%, yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi. Dengan data ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa trainer dan buku panduan praktikum sangat berguna dalam keberlagsungan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran konsentrasi keahlian dengan jenis elemen pemograman dan aplikasi mikrokontroler untuk membantu siswa melakukan praktikum pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dan aplikasi mikrokontroler.
