Abstract

Internal quality assurance is implemented by referring to national education standards, to realize national education goals. Internal quality is now not only applied in universities, but is also applied in primary and secondary education. So that quality assurance and fulfillment of education quality standards in primary and secondary education units are more guaranteed and focused. This article is the result of analysis by reviewing literature related to the topic of discussion. The aim of this research is to determine and describe the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System cycle. The model used is literature study or literature review. The results of this research show that quality improvement activities implemented in accordance with the stages of the SPMI cycle carried out by senior secondary schools include: one, school self-evaluation based on education quality report cards, second, quality improvement planning by establishing a quality assurance committee and re-analyzing the evaluation results. school itself, third, implementation of quality improvements, fourth, monitoring, evaluation and results of quality improvements after quality improvements have been carried out, and fifth, quality planning again for the coming year. The results of implementing internal quality assurance have an impact on a more innovative learning process, student achievement and school achievement, to customer satisfaction both internal and external, as well as fulfillment of eight national education standards. Abstract

The community service conducted aims to contribute to our partner school, MTs Sunan Kalijogo in Malang City, by providing support for teachers' skills through the utilization of the Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle as a tool for remote learning during the pandemic. The implementation methods include mentoring, training, and workshops. The stages carried out are: (1) preparation, (2) training and workshops, (3) implementation of the results, and (4) evaluation. The results of the community service are as follows: (1) 90% of the participants strongly agree that the use of the Moodle program can assist teachers in conducting online education in the madrasah; (2) 80% of the participants are highly proficient in utilizing the Moodle program for distance learning; and (3) Based on the reflections conducted, participants have gained a strong understanding of using Moodle in the context of online education during the pandemic. This is evident in the high level of interest and enthusiasm displayed by the participants.

Abstract

The research aims to reveal school members’ role in the organizational culture development in increasing skills in Vocational High Schools. The study method used was ethnographic with a qualitative approach. Data collection employed interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted with principals, teachers, students, and students’ parents in Vocational High Schools in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Data analysis used interactive analysis, and its validity was checked by triangulation. The results showed that the principal's role in developing organizational culture was to establish organizational culture through the school's vision and mission, develop work programs, and establish school regulations. Provide guidance to school residents in two ways: structurally and non-structurally. Delegating tasks and authorities according to the expertise of each teacher and staff. Provide assessments and rewards and carry out coordination and supervision. At the same time, the role of the teacher is to continue and develop the values of life. Train to develop skills in students. In addition, the role of parents or families in children's education clearly affects the personality of children or students. The family environment was the first and main medium that directly or indirectly influenced behavior in student development.

Abstract

Higher Education Quality Assurance as disseminated to tertiary institutions in Indonesia until 2007. This dissemination aims to make every university realize that the responsibility for the quality of higher education implementation in these tertiary institutions is no longer entirely in the hands of the Government, but especially in the hands of the universities themselves. . Apart from that, the dissemination also aims to inspire each university about what, why, who, where, when, and how to carry out quality assurance in higher education.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter bertujuan membekali individu menghadapi tantangan hidup modern. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan nilai moral dan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep manajemen pendidikan berbasis penguatan pendidikan karakter dan spiritualitas, serta untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dalam implementasi pendekatan ini di lingkungan pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yang terkait dengan tinjauan sistematis untuk memahami pendekatan manajemen pendidikan yang berfokus pada penguatan pendidikan karakter dan spiritualitas. Melalui metode ini, penelitian ini menyaring, menganalisis, dan menyintesis temuan-temuan dari penelitian sebelumnya untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai topik tersebut. Temuan yang didapat adalah manajemen pendidikan berbasis penguatan karakter dan spiritualitas berperan penting dalam membentuk individu yang cerdas secara intelektual dan kuat secara moral. Hal ini perlu diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum serta didukung oleh seluruh pihak yang ada. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pendekatan strategis, kolaboratif, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan sangat diperlukan untuk memastikan efektivitas program pendidikan karakter berbasis spiritualitas dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan modern..

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan kualitas produk olahan makanan pada UMKM Restu Putra di Desa Bendoagung melalui penerapan teknologi Square Heater Oven Bersensor Panas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan, dan demonstrasi, dengan peserta sebanyak 25 orang, termasuk pemilik dan karyawan UMKM serta perwakilan warga setempat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan utama, yaitu diseminasi, pelatihan penggunaan mesin, dan pendampingan pemeliharaan mesin, yang berlangsung dari April hingga Juli 2025. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi yang diterapkan berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi, kualitas roti dan kue, serta pemahaman peserta tentang cara menggunakan dan merawat mesin. Evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam kemampuan pengoperasian mesin dan pemeliharaan, yang berkontribusi pada kelancaran dan keberlanjutan usaha. Kesimpulannya, penerapan teknologi Square Heater Oven Bersensor Panas berhasil memperkuat kapasitas dan kualitas produksi UMKM, sekaligus meningkatkan keterampilan teknis peserta, yang pada gilirannya memperbaiki daya saing usaha di pasar lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Smart Repair Tracker, sebuah edukit berbasis Learning Analytics yang dirancang untuk mendukung pembelajaran mata kuliah Peralatan Otomotif di Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif. Aplikasi ini fokus pada penguatan kompetensi 6C’s (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, Citizenship, Character) mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran otomotif. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan produk, pengembangan prototipe, uji validasi, dan uji kelayakan. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa 80% mahasiswa merasa aplikasi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran, terutama dalam simulasi berbasis Virtual Reality (VR), yang mendapatkan skor 4,9/5 dalam hal ketertarikan dan efektivitas. Selain itu, 75% mahasiswa melaporkan bahwa fitur Learning Analytics yang memberikan umpan balik langsung sangat membantu mereka untuk memahami kemajuan dan kelemahan mereka. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan yang melibatkan 5 ahli, aplikasi ini memperoleh skor 4,7/5, yang menandakan bahwa aplikasi ini sangat layak digunakan dalam konteks pendidikan otomotif. Kesimpulannya, Smart Repair Tracker terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan penguasaan keterampilan teknis serta sosial mahasiswa di bidang otomotif.

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study are 1) to describe the level of student expectations of the implementation of the MBKM Program in Higher Education, 2) to describe the level of student satisfaction with the implementation of the MBKM Program in Higher Education, 3) to describe the relationship between expectations and the level of student satisfaction with the implementation of the MBKM Program in Higher Education, and 4) to describe the difference between expectations and the level of student satisfaction with the implementation of the MBKM Program in Higher Education. This research is oriented towards quantitative methods. Active students of the State University of Malang and the National Institute of Technology Malang who have participated in the MBKM program with a total of 2665 people are the population in this research. The sampling technique used the Solvin formula with a sample size of 424 respondents. Data collection was done by questionnaire technique. For data collection, the technique used is product moment correlation person. The results of this study indicate that the level of student expectations of the MBKM program at the State University of Malang and the National Institute of Technology Malang is in the medium category with a percentage value of 65.3% and 72.2%. The level of student satisfaction with the MBKM program at the State University of Malang and the National Institute of Technology Malang is in the moderate category with a percentage value of 65.1% and 70.8%. While testing the research hypothesis, namely the relationship between expectations and student satisfaction with the MBKM program at the State University of Malang, getting a calculated r value of 0.996 greater than 0.104, it can be decided that H0 in the study is rejected and Ha in the study is accepted in other words that there is a relationship between expectations and student satisfaction with the MBKM program at the State University of Malang. Testing the research hypothesis on the relationship between expectations and student satisfaction with the MBKM program at the National Institute of Technology Malang got an r count of 0.742 greater than 0.192 so that it can be decided that H0 in the study is rejected and Ha in the study is accepted in other words that there is a relationship between expectations and student satisfaction with the MBKM program at the National Institute of Technology Malang. Abstract

The partnership between schools and parents plays a significant role in creating a conducive learning environment, fostering an enjoyable atmosphere both at school and at home. This study investigates the impact of school-parent partnerships on enhancing student achievement, utilizing a qualitative case approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Two key findings about the school-parent partnership at SD Plus Muhammadiyah 1 Waru were identified. First, the school involves parents through various communication mechanisms: routine meetings, parenting sessions, home visits, parent associations, social media for information and communication, school committee engagement, violation control cards, daily monitoring books, and formal letters. Second, parents respond to school programs by integrating school and home learning activities, attending school events, providing necessary information during teacher visits, staying updated through social media, actively participating in communication groups, and monitoring student activities through the provided tools. The collaboration and synergy between school and home learning activities contribute significantly to fostering a positive and effective learning environment for students. This study will show other schools how important structured parent-school partnerships are, especially when combined with culturally relevant approaches. They will provide a replicable framework for improving student learning outcomes and professional school management.

Abstract

This research aims to provide information about Vocational High Schools (VHS) based on the Regional Public Service Agency (RPSA). This descriptive qualitative research uses a literature study approach, which includes several activities related to library data collection methods, reading, recording, and processing research materials. Meanwhile, content analysis is the analytical approach used. The findings of this study reveal various aspects of the management of VHS based on the regional public service agency: definition, benefits, objectives, requirements towards VHS-RPSA, and organizational structure. The management of VHS-RPSA is not for financial gain but to satisfy customers (students and communities) by providing autonomy in handling finances towards school independence, which has several benefits, such as autonomy in financial planning patterns, improved human resources, improved learning, improved facilities and infrastructure, strengthened character education, and improved cooperation. This research enhances the understanding of VHS management within the RPSA framework, contributes to education governance and public service administration to improve the quality of VHS education, and paves the way for future research.
