Abstract

Patients suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD) are required to undergo hemodialysis for life. Often, hemodialysis patients face both physical and psychological issues, one of which is fatigue. This study aims to determine the effect of Murottal Al-Qur’an and Benson therapy on the fatigue levels of hemodialysis patients. Methods: This research uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test/post-test control group design. The sample consisted of 32 respondents selected based on inclusion criteria using purposive sampling technique. The analysis employed bivariate analysis using paired t-test and independent t-test. Of the 32 respondents, the majority were male, totaling 18 respondents (56.3%). The most common age group was 45-60 years, with 13 respondents (40.6%), and the majority of respondents were Muslim, totaling 26 respondents (81.3%). The highest level of education among respondents was high school, with 13 respondents (40.6%). Statistical test results showed a p-value of 0.034, which is <α=0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). It means, there is an effect of Murottal Al-Qur’an and Benson therapy on the fatigue levels of hemodialysis patients.

Abstract

Background: The imbalance of free radicals can be mitigated by antioxidants. Natural sources, such as the blue pea flower (Clitoria ternatea L.), have gained attention as potential antioxidant alternatives. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant potential of the blue pea flower by extracting its fractions using n-hexane and ethyl acetate. Methods: The study employed an experimental design involving maceration for extraction, followed by fractionation using n-hexane and ethyl acetate solvents. Antioxidant activity was assessed using the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay. Data from both qualitative identification and antioxidant tests were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively to determine the IC50 values. Results: The analysis revealed that both the extracts and fractions of the blue pea flower contain bioactive compounds with antioxidant potential, including flavonoids, tannins, steroids, and terpenoids. The IC50 values for antioxidant activity were as follows: n-hexane fraction, 85.28 µg/mL; ethyl acetate fraction, 82.94 µg/mL; and ethanol fraction, 78.78 µg/mL. Conclusion: Flavonoids, steroids, and terpenoids were identified in both the blue pea flower extract and ethyl acetate fraction, while tannins were present only in the ethanol extract. Strong antioxidant activity was observed in all fractions, including the ethanol extract, n-hexane, and ethyl acetate fractions.

Abstract

Sistem Upah merupakan sistem perjanjian kerja yang diatur oleh pengusaha dan buruh atau karyawan serta pemerintah. Di dalam kegiatan usaha diperjanjikan adanya pemberian upah yang akan didapat oleh tenaga kerja dari pemilik usaha. Pekerja berhak mendapatkan upah dan jaminan sosial. Dalam Undang-Undang Nomor. 13 tahun 2003 tentang ketenagakerjaan (pasal 88) ditegaskan bahwa Setiap pekerja atau buruh berhak memperoleh penghasilan yang memenuhi penghidupan yang layak bagi kemanusiaan, jumlah penerimaan atau pendapatan pekerja dari hasil pekerjaannya sehingga mampu memenuhi kebutuhan hidup pekerja dan keluarganya secara wajar yang meliputi makanan, dan jaminan hari tua. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yakni, bagaimana pengaruh sistem pembayaran upah terhadap kesejahteraan pekerja studi pada PT Sindora Seraya di Desa Bantayan Kabupaten Rokan Hilir dan bagaimana perspektif ekonomi Islam tentang pengaruh sistem pembayaran upah terhadap kesejahteraan pekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan skunder. Responden yang dijadikan sampel dalam penilitian ini sebanyak 67 responden. Proses analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Variabel sistem pengupahan berpengaruh segnifikan terhadap kesejahteraan pekerja. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh korelasi antara sistem pengupahan dengan kesejahteraan pekerja (r) adalah 0.482. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terjadi hubungan yang sedang antara sistem pengupahan dengan kesejahteraan pekerja. sedangankan arah hubungannya adalah positif karena nilai r positif dan nilai t- hitung lebih besar dari nilait-tabel (4.438>1,997). Berarti semakin tepat sistem pengupahan maka semakin meningkatkan kesejahteraan pekerja. Praktek perjanjian pengupahan yang diterapkan pada PT. Sindora Seraya Desa Bantayan Kabupaten Rokan Hilir sudah sesuai dengan prinsip ekonomi Islam, sebagaimana yang dianjurkan oleh Rasulullah yaitu majikan harus menyebutkan terlebih dahulu berapa upah yang akan diterima sebelum pekeraja mulai bekerja, namun dalam pembayaran upah belum memenuhi karakteristik Islam karena selalu menunda-nunda membayarkan upah pekerjanya atau tidak tepat waktu sesuai dengan perjanjian, bahwa perjanjia upah para pekerja akan dibayar setiap tanggal 15, namun hal itu tidak direalisasikan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between Belis culture and the social prestige of education for the Manggarai community. The main focus of this research is to analyze how Belis culture can influence access to and motivation for education, especially for women, as well as its impact on social dynamics in the community. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects involved three main groups: teachers, students and parents, and community leaders. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and focus group discussions (FGDs). The results show that the Belis culture, which is a dowry given in marriage, plays a significant role in building the social prestige of education, with highly educated women receiving greater rewards in the form of higher Belis values. On the other hand, while this culture provides incentives for women to pursue higher education, economic pressures are a major challenge for families who cannot afford the high Belis obligations, resulting in limited access to education for children, especially girls. This research suggests that the Belis culture be utilized as a driver of educational motivation, by integrating educational incentives for families committed to the quality of their children's education. In addition, to reduce social inequality, efforts to improve access to education through family economic empowerment need to be made.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sistem nanopartikel eritropoietin terbentuk dari adanya interaksi muatan positif kitosan dan negatif pektin  pada kondisi asam, sehingga stabilitas sistem nanopartikel pada asam klorida dan fosfat buffer adalah parameter penting dalam pilihan medium uji permeasi . Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan stabilitas sistem nanopartikel eritropoietin dalam HCl pH 1,2 dan phosphat buffer salin (PBS) pH 7.4. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian laboratorium eksperimental meliputi analisis eritropoietin yang dilepaskan dari sistem nanopartikel yang dilarutkan dalam HCl pH 1,2 dan PBS pH 7,4 menggunakan metode spektrofotometri.  Kadar eritropoietin yang dihitung adalah kadar eritropoietin yang bebas dari sistem nanopartikel pada menit ke 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180 dan 240. Kadar eritropoietin yang dilepaskan dari sistem nanopartikel eritropoietin pada menit ke 15 dalam medium HCl pH 1,2 lebih rendah yaitu 33, 63 %, dibandingkan dalam medium PBS pH 7,4 dengan kadar eritropoietin bebas 50,85%.  Namun setelah waktu 240 menit, kadar eritropoietin bebas dari sistem nanopartikel lebih tinggi dalam medium PBS pH 7,4 (60,49%) dibandingkan medium HCl pH 1,2 (57, 85%).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem nanopartikel eritropoietin lebih stabil di medium HCl pH 1,2 dibandingkan di PBS pH 7,4.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze the implementation of Indonesian language learning embedded with local cultural values from wayang stories to strengthen the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile at the elementary school level. Methodology: This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a bounded case study design. Data were collected using interview instruments validated by education experts, classroom observations, and documentation analysis. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model to identify planning, implementation, challenges, and perceptions in cultural-based learning. Main Findings: The study found that integrating wayang stories into Indonesian language learning increased students' engagement and understanding of character values such as honesty, responsibility, and cooperation. Teachers showed creativity in designing learning activities but still encountered challenges in evaluation tools and time constraints. Localized story adaptation and collaboration with cultural communities became effective strategies to overcome these barriers. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a structured learning model that combines language learning with cultural narratives to reinforce character education aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile. It contributes to the development of culturally responsive pedagogy and offers practical solutions for embedding local wisdom into the national curriculum

Abstract

Water level control is vital in industrial processes to maintain operational stability and efficiency, especially against varying disturbances like changes in water inflow and outflow. This research proposes a combined feedforward–feedback control system using a Fuzzy-PID algorithm implemented on an Omron CP1H PLC, integrated with an IoT-based Node-RED monitoring interface. The system is designed to improve response accuracy and disturbance recovery in water level control applications. An experimental method was used to evaluate the performance of the proposed control system against conventional single-feedback control under varied disturbance scenarios. The results indicate that the combined control achieved a lower average steady-state error (0.67%) compared to feedback-only control (1.12%), faster recovery time (3 seconds vs. 6.3 seconds), and no overshoot. The integration of flow sensors as feedforward inputs enabled earlier detection and correction of disturbances before they impacted the water level. Additionally, the Node-RED interface allowed real-time monitoring and remote control, enhancing usability and supporting Industry 4.0 standards. While the system demonstrated improved stability and responsiveness, some oscillations remained due to sensor signal noise, suggesting a need for improved filtering techniques. This study contributes a practical and scalable solution for adaptive water level control, combining intelligent control strategies with IoT capabilities. It offers a foundation for future implementations in dynamic industrial environments that demand high reliability and remote accessibility.

Abstract

Research on the development of truth and dare card learning media aims to determine its validity, practicality and effectiveness so that it can improve the learning outcomes of class XI Science students at SMAN 1 Sape. The type of research used is development research (R&D) with the 4D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate) by Thiagarajan (1974). The research sample was 33 students from class XI IPA 6. The research instruments used were expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaire sheets, and pretest-posttest question sheets. The results of the media expert validation test showed an average gain of 93% in the very valid category and the material expert validation test was 94% in the very valid category. The practicality test results were obtained from student and teacher response questionnaires with the same percentage, namely 88%. The results of the effectiveness test were obtained from the students' pretest-posttest results with an N-Gain value of 0.51 which was included in the moderate improvement category. This data shows that the truth and dare card media is suitable for use as a learning medium for thermochemical material for class XI IPA students at SMAN 1 Sape.

Abstract

These findings suggest that improving service quality, both in terms of facilities and interactions between medical staff and patients, plays a crucial role in enhancing patient satisfaction and loyalty. This study offers practical contributions to hospital management, developing strategies to enhance service quality and maintain and improve patient satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on patient loyalty, as measured by patient satisfaction at the Dental and Oral Clinic of Mitra Kasih Hospital Cimahi. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on patient loyalty through patient satisfaction at the Dental and Oral Clinic of Mitra Kasih Hospital Cimahi. The research is based on a significant decline in the number of patients in recent years, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as complaints about the quality of hospital services. A quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative design was applied, involving service quality (X), patient satisfaction (Y), and patient loyalty (Z) variables. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to a sample of patients and analyzed using path analysis. The results indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction (0,875), which in turn influences patient loyalty (0,595). Patient satisfaction also influences on patient loyalty (0.733). Moreover, there is a significant indirect effect of service quality on patient loyalty through patient satisfaction as an intervening variable (1,9876). The key factors contributing to patient satisfaction include reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible aspects of the service.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze how Facebook Marketplace contributes to the digital resilience of millennial farmers in adapting to agribusiness transformation, particularly in terms of market access, digital literacy, and business innovation.This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews and participatory observations. The interviews explore farmers' motivations, perceptions, and challenges in adopting this platform, while observations examine their interaction patterns with consumers.  The findings indicate that Facebook Marketplace plays a significant role in strengthening the digital resilience of millennial farmers by expanding market networks, enhancing digital literacy, and fostering innovation in agribusiness strategies. However, challenges such as limited digital infrastructure and technological literacy gaps remain major obstacles. Therefore, this study highlights the importance of improving digital skills and strengthening infrastructure as key factors in the success of agribusiness digital transformation. The primary recommendation of this research is the implementation of continuous digital training programs for millennial farmers to optimize the use of digital platforms in agribusiness development.
