Abstract

The accelerating integration of digital tools into English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction has reshaped how language education addresses professional competencies across disciplines. However, a significant gap remains in understanding how these technologies are customized to meet domain-specific linguistic and communicative needs. This study investigates trends, challenges, and pedagogical implications of technology-enhanced ESP instruction in higher education between 2019 and 2025. Utilizing a PRISMA-based protocol, 21 peer-reviewed studies were selected from Scopus and Crossref, applying strict inclusion criteria focused on mobile applications, learning management systems (LMS), virtual reality (VR), and asynchronous tools. Thematic synthesis revealed that mobile apps and LMS improved learner engagement, vocabulary acquisition, and autonomy, particularly in fields such as healthcare, engineering, and tourism. VR tools showed promise in simulating professional contexts for immersive language practice. Nevertheless, barriers such as inadequate infrastructure, uneven digital literacy, and limited teacher training continue to hinder optimal implementation. Notably, few studies provided evidence on long-term outcomes or field-specific customization of digital tools, highlighting a critical gap in sustained pedagogical innovation. This study contributes a structured overview of effective practices and persistent challenges in ESP technology integration, offering strategic insights for curriculum designers, teacher educators, and policymakers. By advocating for equity-focused, professionally aligned digital instruction, the study underscores the need for tailored innovations that bridge the divide between academic language education and real-world communication demands in specialized fields.

Abstract

This paper discusses how compensation affects teacher professionalism and performance. Teachers play a major role in an educational institution. As an educator, his main task is to educate students and interact directly to produce a generation that has superior character so that it can face the challenges of the times. An educator in carrying out these tasks should get proper compensation considering the duties and obligations he carries out so much. On the basis of the description above, the author conducted research with the title of the effectiveness of compensation on professionalism and teacher. This study aims to examine and analyze the extent to which compensation can affect teacher professionalism and performance. The method used in this research is literature review. Data collection is obtained through problem formulation, collecting 15 articles that are in accordance with the topic, conducting a comparative study of the research results, presenting data and making. From here the results obtained that the amount of compensation greatly influences the professionalism and performance of teachers.

Abstract

Waste management remains a critical issue in schools due to low awareness of clean living and limited knowledge. This community service aimed to foster early waste awareness at Azalia Integrated Islamic Kindergarten using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Activities included initial observation, game-based education, teacher-parent training, improved educational tools, and mentoring. Evaluations through pre- and post-tests showed significant improvement in both student and parent understanding of waste sorting. The program cultivated a collective awareness of waste management and is expected to continue as part of a clean and healthy life.

Abstract

Crust Breaker is an equipment in aluminum reduction furnace that functions to break the crust on the electrolyte surface. So far, the operational team has identified abnormal crust breakers manually because there is no abnomal crust breaker detection tool available. For this reason, the tool to detect when an abnormal crust breaker occurs is designed by making a prototype crust breaker and measuring the implementation directly on the reduction furnace which can be monitored in real time through the website and providing notifications when abnormal crust breaker conditions occur via Telegram, as well as adding light and buzzer indications in the room. The results showed that the use of toggle switches with normal crust breaker conditions got an average detection response of 86.54% and abnormal crust breaker conditions got an average detection response of 90.51%, as well as direct implementation testing on a reduction furnace with a time setting of less than 10 minutes, the crust breaker provided an actual notification of not touching the electrolyte. Based on these results, the right time to ensure the condition of the abnormal crust breaker is ≥10 minutes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan teknologi digital dalam memperkenalkan dan melestarikan budaya Belis Manggarai melalui pendekatan kognitivisme dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di tingkat sekolah dasar. Dengan perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat, pendidikan dihadapkan pada tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan budaya lokal, khususnya budaya Belis, ke dalam kurikulum sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan guru, siswa, dan tokoh masyarakat sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital seperti video interaktif dan aplikasi pembelajaran meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam memahami budaya Belis. Teknologi digital memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar secara lebih interaktif dan multisensori, memfasilitasi pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang nilai-nilai budaya Belis. Temuan utama penelitian ini adalah bahwa pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital tidak hanya membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan relevan, tetapi juga memperkuat keterlibatan emosional siswa terhadap budaya lokal mereka. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan metode pengajaran yang inovatif untuk melestarikan budaya lokal di era digital.

Abstract

This study was Motivated by the researcher's initial findings that the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 at PAUD Dara Bhakti had not yet emerged. This can be seen from 15 students at PAUD Dara Bhakti. Data obtained around 66.7% or as many as 10 children were still included in the category of children who had not developed, then 2 children were said to be starting to develop or around 13.3% while in children who developed according to expectations only around 20% or around 3 students and no children were found with very good development. Seeing this situation is very unfortunate, because children's speaking abilities include correct pronunciation, simple sentence structure, vocabulary, fluency, and good understanding. In order to improve speaking abilities in children aged 5-6 years, researchers plan to use a role-playing method in learning that aims to improve speaking abilities in early childhood at PAUD Dara Bhakti. In this study, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was Used using 2 cycles where each cycle was carried out five times with different role-playing themes. The results of the study showed that the role-playing method Can improve speaking abilities by 80%. The increase in the percentage of speaking ability in children aged 5-6 years from before the action from 6.7% to cycle I to 26.7% increased by 20%. Then from cycle I 26.7% to cycle II to 80% increased by 53.3%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh leverage dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap harga saham dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening pada perusahaan sektor perindustrian yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Leverage diukur menggunakan debt to equity ratio (DER), ukuran perusahaan menggunakan logaritma total aset, profitabilitas menggunakan return on assets (ROA), dan harga saham diukur melalui harga penutupan tahunan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan path analysis. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari perusahaan sektor perindustrian yang terdaftar di BEI selama periode 2018–2022 dan dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa leverage berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap profitabilitas dan harga saham, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham. Profitabilitas terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham, sehingga dapat bertindak sebagai variabel intervening dalam hubungan antara leverage dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap harga saham. Implikasi dari hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya perusahaan dalam mengelola struktur modal dan efisiensi operasional guna meningkatkan nilai perusahaan di mata investor.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of science integration developed by al-Faruqi, understand the factors behind the emergence of this idea, and explore its implementation and relevance in the world of Islamic education today. This research also aims to compare al-Faruqi's ideas with other Muslim thinkers in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the integration of science in Islam. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was collected from primary sources in the form of al-Faruqi's works, such as Islamization of Knowledge , as well as various secondary literature that discussed his thoughts. The analysis is carried out in a descriptive-analytical manner with a critical approach to the concept of Islamization of the knowledge he developed, and examines how this concept can be applied in the modern Islamic education system. The results of the study show that the concept of Islamization of science introduced by al-Faruqi aims to eliminate the dichotomy between religious science and modern science by making Islam the basis of epistemology in all scientific fields. Al-Faruqi emphasized that the Islamization of science is not just adding religious elements to secular science, but reconstructing science based on a comprehensive Islamic perspective. This concept has been implemented in various Islamic educational institutions, although it still faces challenges in its widespread application. By understanding the concept of al-Faruqi more deeply, it is hoped that Muslims can develop a more integrative and oriented education system that is oriented authentically towards Islamic values.

Abstract

Karbon Monoksida (CO) dalam teknologi makanan digunakan sebagai salah satu gas komponen penyusun dalam proses Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP). Karbon Monokida pada proses MAP digunakan untuk mempertahankan warna daging, dengan konsentrasi 0,3 hingga 0,5%. Pengendalian kadar gas karbon monoksida yang masuk ke kotak MAP menggunakan servo valve. Presentase buka tutup servo valve diatur menggunakan fuzzy logic yang diprogram pada mikrokontroler Arduino Mega. Hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa sistem mampu mencapai setpoin yang diinginkan dengan keadaan awal yang berbeda – beda yang memiliki rata – rata error kurang dari 5%. Respon sistem kendali fuzzy logic masih memiliki overshoot pada awal respon yang diakibatkan oleh keterlambatan pembacaan sensor MQ7. Hasil keluaran fuzzy logic didapatkan bahwa rata – rata akurasi hasil fuzzy logic pada program Arduino (perhitungan) dengan hasil fuzzy pada Matlab sebesar 98,84% untuk servo valve input  dan 96,23% untuk servo valve output.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Transformasi pendidikan melalui Kampus Berdampak merupakan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM. Program ini melanjutkan inisiatif Kampus Merdeka dengan penekanan pada pemberdayaan mahasiswa, kolaborasi industri, dan dampak nyata ke masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan pada bagaimana followers akun Instagram @kemdiktisaintek.ri memaknai pemberitaan seputar program ini. Lewat pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan metode wawancara menggali persepsi publik melalui konten media sosial, terutama komentar dan interaksi pengguna kepada informan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasilnya, konten di akun Instagram tersebut cukup berhasil membentuk agenda publik, terutama dalam aspek aktualitas, tampilan visual, dan keterlibatan audiens. Secara keseluruhan, komunikasi digital dari @kemdiktisaintek.ri berperan penting membentuk persepsi dan minat mahasiswa terhadap program Kampus Berdampak. Ini menegaskan bahwa media sosial bukan sekadar alat penyebaran informasi, tapi juga ruang strategis kepercayaan,opini, dan dukungan publik terhadap kebijakan pendidikan.
