Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran PjBL yang di integrasikan dengan STEM terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi energi terbarukan di SMA. Bentuk penelitian ini yaitu pre-experimental design jenis one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian yakni 30 orang peserta didik kelas XA di SMA Negeri 1 Ledo. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Pada pretest sebanyak 30% peserta didik memiliki hasil belajar pada kategori rendah, dan pada posttest sebanyak 87% hasil belajar peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil Uji Wilcoxon nilai Asymp. Sig (2-Tailed) sebesar 0.000 (r < 0.05), dengan tingkat kefektivitasan berada pada kategori tinggi (5 > 0,7). Kesimpulan penelitian yakni penerapan model PjBL Terintegrasi STEM efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi energi terbarukan di SMA Negeri 1 Ledo.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the fast feedback method based on problem-solving according to Polya in remediating student errors in solving work and energy problems at SMP Negeri 4 Dedai. This study is in the form of a pre-experimental study with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample of this study consisted of 22 students from class VIII B, which was the experimental class. The data collection tool was a 5-item essay test validated (validity level of 3.6 in the moderate category) and tested for reliability (reliability level of 0.489 in the moderate category). The study results showed an average percentage decrease in student errors in the experimental class of 90.2%. The effectiveness of remediation showed a proportion price of 0.886%. It is hoped that this study can be used as an alternative to student error remediation methods in solving problems on work and energy materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal Hukum Newton II. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kubu Raya semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 31 peserta didik dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 soal essay yang dibagi berdasarkan 5 indikator menurut Eniss. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator Elementary clarity sebesar 81% dengan kategori sangat rendah, indikator Basic support sebesar 74% dengan kategori rendah, indikator Inference sebesar 53% dengan kategori rendah, indikator Advanced clarity sebesar 60% dengan kategori sangat rendah, indikator Strategies and tactical sebesar 69% dengan kategori sangat rendah. Berdasarkan data tersebut disimpulkan bahwa profil kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kubu Raya masih sangat rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik pada materi getaran dan gelombang di SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak dan menguji perbedaan kemampuan pada setiap aspek literasi sains. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa soal tes berbentuk essay yang terdiri dari 15 soal berbasis literasi sains. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX di SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak dengan jumlah 174 orang. Literasi sains yang diukur meliputi aspek konten sain, proses sains, dan konteks sains. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik pada materi getaran dan gelombang sebesar 33,70% untuk aspek konten sains, 44,60% untuk aspek proses sains, dan 42,00% pada aspek konteks sains. Berdasarkan uji Kruskall-Wallis diperoleh hasil analisis bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan peserta didik pada setiap aspek literasi sains. Bagi peneliti lain diharapkan dapat menerapkan pembelajaran sains yang menitikberatkan pada aspek konten sains.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan komik yang dilengkapi augmented reality dan game wordwall pada pokok bahasan tata surya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan model ADDIE dengan tahapan analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Instrumen penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas produk menggunakan lembar validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa sedangkan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan produk menggunakan angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan masing-masing 0,9, 0,9, dan 0,91 untuk aspek media, materi, dan bahasa yang termasuk kategori validitas sangat tinggi. Sedangkan respon guru dari angket memperoleh nilai 4,6 yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Hasil penilaian produk oleh  peserta didik masing-masing  88% dan85% untuk uji kelompok kecil dan uji kelompok besar yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa komik komik yang dilengkapi augmented reality dan game wordwall dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran IPA pada materi tata surya.Kata Kunci: komik, augmented reality, game wordwall, tata surya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematics (STEM) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi Hukum Archimedes di SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pre exsperimental design dengan bentuk quasi exsperimental design dengan rancangan two group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas X.A (30 orang) dan X.B (30 orang) di SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes. Pada pretest kelas eksperimen mendapatkan skor sebesar 46,48 dengan kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol mendapatkan skor sebesar 30,48 dengan kategori sedang. Kemudian, setelah diberikan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen nilai posttest mendapatkan skor sebesar 87,82 dengan kategori tinggi. Selanjutnya, pada kelas kontrol nilai posttest mendapatkan skor sebesar 50,32 dengan kategori sedang. Kemudian, pada hasil perhitungan N-gain score pada kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 0,88 dengan kategori tinggi dan pada hasil perhitungan N-gain score kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 0,50 dengan kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Kemudian, berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik memberikan respon yang sangat baik berdasarkan keempat aspek angket yaitu pada aspek respon proses pembelajaran sebesar 93.2, aspek manfaat pembelajaran PBL-STEM sebesar 89.6, aspek rasa ingin tahu sebesar 88.6 dan aspek keterampilan untuk menyampaikan materi sebesar 91.1. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran PBL-STEM untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi hukum Archimedes di SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve student engagement and learning outcomes in the subject of molecular concepts through the implementation of the contextual chemistry approach. The research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with two cycles of action. The research subjects were students from Grade X Science 2 at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Data were collected through observations of student activities and evaluation tests of learning outcomes. The results of the research showed a significant increase in student learning activities from Cycle I to Cycle II. The average increase in learning activities was 13.06%, and all aspects of activity met the criteria for active participation. Student learning outcomes also increased from Cycle I to Cycle II. The average learning outcomes increased from 69.71 to 75.14, and the percentage of mastery increased from 60% to 74.29%. The implementation of the contextual chemistry approach in teaching molecular concepts had a positive impact on student engagement and learning outcomes. Students demonstrated engagement in answering questions, presenting arguments, completing tasks, engaging in discussions, and presenting group work results. Its implementation can encourage student involvement in the learning process, improve conceptual understanding, and connect knowledge to everyday life situations

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of GPA and prerequisite courses simultaneously on the mastery of simple machine concepts in PLP II students at FKIP Untan Pontianak. This correlational study involved 50 seventh-semester students of the Physics education study program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Pontianak, Tanjungpura University. Data collection was carried out using measurement techniques, namely tests. The achievement of prerequisite courses and microteaching competence of students were taken from the academic section of the faculty. The analysis found that GPA and prerequisite courses on mastery of simple machine teaching materials were significantly related to correlation coefficients (r = 0.38, r = 0.34, p < 0.05, respectively). In addition, the multiple correlation coefficient was also significant (R = 0.38, p < 0.05). This means that the relative contribution of the predictor variables of this study to the mastery of simple machine teaching materials is 15.1%, and the remaining 84.9% is determined by other factors not examined in this study. The study showed that GPA and prerequisite courses were significantly related to student's ability in the learning process.

Abstract

Force is one of the most fundamental concepts in physics, used to describe and explain a wide range of phenomena. Students can use force diagrams to learn about fundamental force concepts and solve problems related to forces. However, a limited study has focused on students’ views in drawing force diagrams. This study aims to explore students’ views about force diagrams while solving physics problems. A qualitative study was conducted to explore students’ views on drawing and using force diagrams when solving force problems, involving 18 physics education students. Before the semi-structured interviews were conducted, the students were given two force problems to solve. All interviews were recorded, transcribed, and coded for analysis. Data from the interview was analyzed using NVivo software. This study identified five themes related to students’ views on force diagrams: purposes, conventions, physics concepts, mathematical concepts, and incomplete diagrams. The most frequently mentioned theme by students was the purpose of drawing force diagrams. Students’ knowledge about force concepts and trigonometry also affected their diagrams. Students had different ways to draw diagrams, either on the dot or on the object, and had reasons for drawing the incomplete force diagrams. These findings suggest that students should possess sufficient knowledge of physics and mathematics to draw force diagrams effectively. Students should also understand when force diagrams are applicable and recognize the advantages of drawing them. This study suggests that to support students' effective understanding of force diagrams, educators should employ appropriate strategies and equip students with the skills to create and utilize force diagrams while learning about force concepts and solving problems.

Abstract

This research aims to produce the Testlets' model instrument test that measures the problem-solving abilities of high school students in West Kalimantan on motion topics. The study employed A.D.D.I.E.'s development model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Three hundred four students from three different cities in West Kalimantan were involved as respondents in this study. The researchers collected data through test techniques and documentation since this study focused on the characteristics of the test. The instrument test of problem-solving abilities is designed to follow Heller's solution stages, namely focusing on the problem, describing physics, planning a solution, implementing the plan, and evaluating the answer. The results of this study are the availability of 20 multiple-choice questions, with five main questions and four testlets. The assessment instrument developed had the characteristics of validity up to 0.90 (high), reliability through Cronbach's Alpha Reliability analysis: 0.83 (very good), person reliability: 0,84 (high) and item reliability: 0.98 (excellent). The test developed is theoretically and practically feasible so that high school physics teachers can use it to measure students' problem-solving abilities more quickly because it uses a multiple-choice test.
