Abstract

Literacy and numeracy are essential foundational competencies, yet many primary schools continue to face challenges in meeting expected mastery levels. SD Sumbermulyo in Sarang District, Rembang Regency implements literacy and numeracy programs aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum; however, educational report data show significant gaps in student achievement. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of these programs by analyzing their planning, implementation, and control, as well as students’ competency outcomes. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with school stakeholders, classroom observations, and analysis of educational reports. The findings reveal that although the school has organized structured programs supported by teacher involvement and basic learning resources, more than 60% of students especially in lower grades have not met minimum reading and arithmetic standards. The study concludes that improving program effectiveness requires data-based adjustments, enhanced learning materials, improved time allocation for literacy activities, and stronger collaboration among teachers, parents, and the community. Overall, this research highlights the importance of educational report analysis as a practical tool for evaluating and strengthening literacy and numeracy programs in primary schools.

Abstract

This study examines the management of literacy and numeracy programs at SD Sumbermulyo, Sarang District, Rembang Regency, based on an analysis of educational reports (Rapor Pendidikan). The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs. The findings indicate that while the school has made progress in planning and organizing literacy and numeracy programs, there are challenges in meeting the targeted competencies for students, especially in the early grades. The use of educational reports as a data-driven tool has enabled the school to identify areas of improvement and adjust the programs accordingly. However, further improvements are needed in terms of resource allocation, teacher training, and community involvement. The study contributes to the understanding of how data from educational reports can enhance the planning and evaluation of educational programs in primary schools.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of principal academic supervision, school culture, and teacher work motivation on learning quality in public elementary schools in Sedan District, Rembang Regency. Using a quantitative ex post facto design, data were collected from 132 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. Multiple correlation, ANOVA, and multiple regression analyses were employed. The findings reveal that the three independent variables collectively have a very strong and significant effect on learning quality (R = 0.895; R² = 0.800; p < 0.001). Principal academic supervision contributes the most substantially (69.8%), followed by teacher work motivation (68.1%) and school culture (53.1%). These results indicate that learning quality can be significantly improved through an integrated synergy that strengthens instructional supervision, fosters a collaborative school culture, and enhances teachers’ intrinsic motivation. The study highlights the importance of comprehensive managerial interventions in optimizing learning quality and offers empirical evidence for the multidimensional model of supervision–culture–motivation in primary education.

Abstract

Bullying in elementary schools continues to be a significant concern, negatively impacting students' emotional well-being, social interactions, and academic engagement. In response, many schools in Indonesia have adopted the Child-Friendly School (CFS) program as a strategic initiative to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment. SDN Pleburan 01 Semarang is one such school dedicated to strengthening bullying prevention through effective child-friendly school management strategies. This study aims to analyze the approaches employed by SDN Pleburan 01 in managing a child-friendly school to prevent and address bullying. A qualitative research design was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the principal, teachers, students, and the CFS team. The findings indicate that the school has implemented comprehensive bullying prevention measures, including needs-based planning, integration of character-building activities, active involvement of stakeholders, and the use of technology such as the Si Galing application for anonymous reporting. The study also found a significant reduction in bullying incidents and improvements in students' sense of safety, emotional well-being, and participation in school activities. In conclusion, the research highlights that successful child-friendly school management requires thorough planning, collaborative execution, and continuous evaluation to ensure sustainable bullying prevention efforts in elementary schools.
