Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to contribute positively to enhancing the capacity of the local community, both in knowledge and skills, so that they can manage agricultural potential as educational tourism attractions that benefit their economic and social well-being. The implementation methodology includes steps and strategies such as field research and in-depth interviews to identify local potential. Once the potential is identified, technical guidance is provided gradually and continuously to improve the community's capacity to manage agricultural potential into educational tourism attractions. These steps include training on processing agricultural products, marketing strategies, and developing sustainable tourism attractions. The results of the activity show an increase in the community's knowledge and skills in processing agricultural products such as tobacco, chilies, and melons into value-added products, such as souvenirs for visitors. The results and discussion of this activity also highlight the significant positive impact on the community's perspective regarding tourism potential, while also providing an analysis of the impact seen through the village's economic growth. This activity succeeded in changing the community's perspective on tourism potential and positively contributed to the development of the village as a tourism destination.

Abstract

In the emerging field of electronic payment systems, security challenges have become a major concern. This research addresses a comprehensive understanding of mitigation strategies for these threats. Through systematic literature analysis, we investigated the security vulnerabilities in electronic payment processes and discovered the latest blockchain technology as a strengthened security framework. Our findings reveal that while encryption and authentication provide the foundation of security, the integration of blockchain technology offers an unprecedented level of transaction integrity and transparency. This research not only highlights the urgent need for electronic payment security measures but also highlights the potential of blockchain and machine learning as transformative solutions. The implications of our research indicate an important shift in payment systems towards more secure and resilient electronic systems, paving the way for future research to explore the integration of cutting-edge technologies in combating ever-evolving cyber threats by leveraging blockchain technology, quantum computing and machine learning.

Abstract

Integrated KKN STAH Dharma Sentana Central Sulawesi in Kotaraya Timur Village, Mepanga District, Parigi Moutong Regency is a form of community service activity carried out by students. KKN will be held from August 30, 2024 to November 30, 2024, consisting of several work programs, namely core work programs, sub-districts, villages, and additional programs. KKN activities aim to provide opportunities for students to apply the knowledge, technology, and skills acquired during lectures in real life, especially in the community. The KKN implementation method consists of a participatory approach, surveys, and work program planning. KKN student activities receive appreciation and support from the local government and the village community. This is shown in the KKN student activities which involve many people from various backgrounds. The village government and the community involve many KKN students in various village activities such as making street name markers, hamlet boundaries, youth health posts, and GERMAS. Other forms of work program activities involve young people, teenagers and children, such as Galungan and Kuningan holiday competitions, Sanskrit language lessons, reading, writing and arithmetic lessons, as well as holding Pasraman Kilat for all school levels from elementary, middle, high school, education to the Javanese Hindu community, and social service.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of social rehabilitation programs on behavioral changes among inmates at the Class IIA Tanjungpinang Narcotics Penitentiary. Utilizing a quantitative associative approach, 140 inmates participating in the program were selected as samples through a simple random sampling method. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 21. The findings reveal that the social rehabilitation program significantly impacts behavioral changes in inmates, evidenced by an r-count value of 0.563. Furthermore, the R-square value of 0.563 indicates that the program accounts for 56.3% of the observed behavioral changes, while the remaining 43.7% is attributed to other unexamined variables. Statistical testing using ANOVA yielded an F-value of 131.254, which is greater than the F-table value of 3.09, with a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05), confirming a positive and significant relationship between the program and behavioral changes. The study concludes that the social rehabilitation program implemented at the Class IIA Tanjungpinang Narcotics Penitentiary effectively improves inmates' behavior. This highlights the program's potential as a strategic intervention in fostering positive behavioral transformations among inmates, contributing to their reintegration into society.

Abstract

The rhinoceros beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros) is a fairly important pest in oil palm plants, especially in young or unproductive plants. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of pheromones and lamps as horn beetle traps. The research was carried out in a community plantation in Sungai Lala, Kelawat District, Indragiri Hulu, Riau. The research was carried out for 1 month, with tools in the form of lamp traps and pheromones, as well as a combination of both.  The results showed that the combination of pheromones with trap lights provided the most catch compared to single treatment. There was no difference in the catch of male and female beetles in all treatments. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used to control rhino beetles in a simple way in community plantations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of current ratio, debt ratio, and return on asset on financial distress in m food and beverage sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2022 period. The dependent variable in this study is financial distress and the independent variables in this study are current ratio, debt ratio, and return on asset. Determination of the sample is done by purposive sampling using several criteria. The number of samples selected as many as 13 companies from a total population of 30 companies. In this study, the data analysis used was SPSS. The results of this study indicate that debt ratio, and return on asset have no effect on financial distress, while current ratio have effect on financial distress.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are village business institutions whose businesses are run by village communities and the village government to improve village welfare. BUMDes was formed as a business institution that can manage various businesses according to the needs and potential of the village. However, BUMDes face challenges in managing their business, such as recording transactions and reports. This research is to design and implement a website-based BUMDes integrated service information system at BUMDes Panggung Lestari. This system design uses a programming language PHP with framework codeigniter and database MySQL. The system development method used is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model waterfall. The web-based BUMDes integrated service information system is very effective and efficient used by BUMDes for managing, monitoring and supervising business activities. This system is designed to include features for recording income transactions or business operational costs, as well as providing reports that can be used for analysis and evaluation of operational performance, and providing information services to the public regarding information about BUMDes.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the factors of visitors who come to the Bojongkulur Tourism Village, Bogor Regency. This village is one of the villages that initially every rainy season always experiences environmental problems, namely flooding problems, namely in the Block KD Vila Nusa Indah 3 RT 06 RW 36 area which borders the Cikeas river. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method to measure tourist attraction factors in the Bojongkulur tourist village, using a Cartesian diagram analysis tool. Based on the results of a questionnaire with 80 respondents to assess 8 assessment factors based on visitors' expectations and reality, 7 indicators were produced, including culture in its various forms, rivers with all their attractions, travel comfort, extensive opportunities to relax. The image, natural beauty and friendliness of the people are considered to have met visitors' expectations. Based on Cartesian diagram analysis, it reaches an average value of 4.2. Meanwhile, the tourist product price indicator is still assessed by visitors and still does not meet the figure of 2.9. This means that these 8 attractiveness factors are still considered lacking by visitors. In the researcher's analysis, this is caused by the accessibility of river tourism activities in the Bojongkulur tourist village, the route is short and only has one attraction, this is considered not commensurate with the costs incurred. Abstract

This study aims to explain the process of developing a vehicle or transformation of the folklore of the origin of Jamblang village, Cirebon district, West of Java into a short film as a digital literature learning medium. This study uses a research and development (RnD) method with the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the study indicate that the learning media developed in the form of a short film entitled Bidadari Bermata Sipit is effective for use in learning in digital literature courses and has received a positive response from students. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of digital-based learning media that are relevant to educational needs in the technological era. In addition, this short film product can be an initial step in revitalizing folklore through a modern approach, so that local cultural values remain sustainable and can be accepted by the younger generation.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pengembangan alih wahana atau transformasi cerita rakyat asal-usul desa Jamblang kabupaten Cirebon, Jawa Barat ke dalam film pendek sebagai media pembelajaran sastra digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan atau research and development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa film pendek berjudul “Bidadari Bermata Sipit” efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran pada mata kuliah sastra digital serta mendapat respon positif dari mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan di era teknologi. Selain itu, produk film pendek ini dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam revitalisasi cerita rakyat melalui pendekatan modern, sehingga nilai-nilai budaya lokal tetap lestari dan dapat diterima oleh generasi muda.
