Abstract

Pemikiran komputasional merupakan kemampuan berpikir secara logis, terstruktur, dan inovatif yang mengadopsi mekanisme komputer dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan melalui empat fondasi esensial: abstraksi, dekomposisi, identifikasi pola, dan penyusunan algoritma. Kemampuan ini menjadi landasan fundamental dalam memahami teknologi dan mengatasi permasalahan secara efektif di era digital. Tingkat penguasaan konsep pemikiran komputasional sangat berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas implementasi dalam pemrograman dasar, di mana perintah yang kurang terorganisir dapat mengurangi efisiensi eksekusi program. Riset ini bertujuan mengkaji relasi antara pemikiran komputasional dan pemrograman dasar melalui konsep abstraksi dan dekomposisi, serta implementasinya dalam aktivitas keseharian yang memerlukan efisiensi, rasionalitas, dan kapabilitas pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan data. Riset menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan kajian konseptual terhadap literatur pendidikan digital dan fenomena empiris dalam konteks kurikulum nasional serta program literasi digital di Indonesia. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa computational thinking membantu menyederhanakan permasalahan kompleks menjadi tahapan sederhana, sementara pemrograman dasar berperan sebagai sarana implementasi logika tersebut dalam bentuk instruksi komputer yang dapat dijalankan. Integrasi keduanya terbukti meningkatkan kapabilitas problem-solving hingga 30% dan efisiensi pemrosesan permasalahan kompleks hingga 25% melalui platform visual seperti Scratch. Implementasinya meluas pada penyusunan jadwal, pengelolaan proyek bisnis, hingga pengambilan keputusan strategis. Penguasaan sinergi keduanya membentuk literasi digital abad ke-21 yang esensial untuk menghadapi tantangan artificial intelligence (AI), big data, dan transformasi teknologi global.

Abstract

Rapid economic growth and urbanization have increased global waste production, underscoring the need for sustainable waste governance. In Indonesia, Law No. 18 of 2008 on Waste Management mandates the principles of responsibility, sustainability, and justice in waste management; however, its implementation continues to face challenges, including low public awareness and a weak recycling system. On the other hand, fiqh al-bī’ah (Islamic environmental jurisprudence) offers an ethical framework that emphasizes cosmic balance, avoidance of wastefulness, and the human mandate as khalifah (steward) on Earth. This article examines the synthesis of the principles of fiqh al-bī’ah with the framework of sustainable waste governance to develop a waste management model aligned with Islamic ethics. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, including a literature review, analysis of regulatory documents, and field studies in Banyumas Regency, which serves as the case study. The findings show that the principles of fiqh al-bī’ah, such as the protection of life and soul, the balance of production and consumption, and the maintenance of ecosystem balance, align with the hierarchy of sustainable waste management, which includes avoidance, reduction, reuse, recycling, and final disposal. Furthermore, Islamic values regarding cleanliness and the avoidance of wastefulness provide moral legitimacy for waste management policies. This article also presents a table integrating fiqh al-bī’ah values with waste management actions and proposes a conceptual model that can be adapted by local governments, communities, and educational institutions. The implementation of this model is expected to strengthen ecological awareness among Muslims and improve the effectiveness of Indonesia's waste management policies

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of a culture of tolerance and peace from an Islamic perspective through the Rahmatan lil 'Alamin approach and its relevance in realizing world peace. This study departs from the thoughts of Shaykh Al-Zaytun, who emphasized that religion essentially aims to bring happiness, peace, and harmony to all humanity without distinction of religious, cultural, or national background. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical library research method. Data sources were obtained from religious texts, historical documents such as the Medina Charter and the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution, as well as various scientific literature relevant to peace education, cultural diplomacy, and interfaith dialogue. Data analysis was conducted through the content analysis method with the stages of data reduction, thematic classification, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that a culture of tolerance is the main foundation in building sustainable peace at the national and international levels. Peace education based on Rahmatan lil 'Alamin values ​​has proven to play a strategic role in shaping the character of an inclusive, moderate, and diversity-respecting society. The implementation of tolerance values ​​through educational institutions, particularly Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), can serve as an instrument of social transformation by instilling a dialogical and non-violent attitude. Furthermore, cultural diplomacy and interfaith dialogue serve as forms of soft power in international relations, encouraging global cooperation without conflict. The values ​​of Pancasila and the principles of the Medina Charter demonstrate the harmony between Islamic teachings and modern constitutions in creating a peaceful pluralistic society. Therefore, the integration of Rahmatan lil 'Alamin (blessing for the universe) values ​​into education, social policy, and international relations is a crucial strategy for realizing a just and sustainable world peace.

Abstract

The role of Islamic financial institutions has been confirmed as crucial in supporting Indonesia's economic growth, especially in improving the welfare of micro-communities through providing easy access to financing. However, in the current era of digitisation, Islamic finance faces potential threats related to operational closures due to an inadequate handling of risks. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate how risk identification and analysis affect financial performance as well as how Islamic corporate governance (ICG) influences the impact of risk management on financial performance. BMT Bina Umat Sejahtera is the subject of the study. Purposive sampling and the Slovin method were employed as the sampling techniques, and a total of 105 respondents were successfully recruited. The research findings indicate that financial performance is significantly improved by risk detection and analysis. Meanwhile, ICG is not a moderating variable as it does not have a significant effect. The practical implications for the Islamic financial industry emphasise the importance of risk identification and analysis, as well as the development of ICG to strengthen its role in enhancing financial performance. Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the economic independence of parents or guardians of students at the Tahfidz Hidayah Orphanage in Sukadamai, Bogor, West Java, through a meatball-making training program. The program was carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage involved site surveys, scheduling, and coordination of facilities. The implementation stage covered entrepreneurship education, demonstrations by the training team, and hands-on practice with emphasis on hygiene standards and product quality. Results from the evaluation stage showed an average product score of 86.66, placing participant performance in the good category. Questionnaire data further confirmed that the instructional materials were easy to follow, the demonstrations were well-structured, and the available facilities were sufficient to support the training activities. This practice-based training proved effective in building participants' technical competence and strengthening their motivation to pursue independent entrepreneurial ventures.

Abstract

This article examines how religious authority operates through symbolic mechanisms to produce and sustain the subordination of female students in an Indonesian pesantren (Islamic boarding school). Drawing on Pierre Bourdieu’s concepts of field, habitus, symbolic capital, symbolic power, symbolic violence, doxa, and misrecognition, the study investigates a case of sexual violence involving female students in a pesantren in East Java. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with victims, victim advocates, and pesantren administrators, supported by documentary sources. The findings reveal that the kyai’s religious legitimacy functions as symbolic capital that generates obedience through the culture of ta'dzim, reverence for religious authority, and the pursuit of blessed knowledge. These dispositions are internalized as a patriarchal habitus that normalizes unequal gender relations and limits victims’ capacity to resist or report abuse. The study argues that sexual violence in pesantren should be understood not merely as individual misconduct but as a manifestation of symbolic domination embedded within religious authority and patriarchal social structures.
