Abstract

A curriculum consistsof a number of interrelated complex components. Theschool-based curriculum has several components: curriculumand learningoutcomes, class-based evaluation, teaching-learning activities,and school-basedcurriculum organization. These are completedwith the establishment ofcurriculum networking, the development of curriculum supplements (e.g.syllabuses), professional trainings for educational practitioners,and thedevelopmentof curriculum information system. The school-based curriculumimplementationand development strategies should include all of them. Therefore,it is necessary to continuously conduct researchon the school-based curriculum,especiallywhen the curriculum starts to be implemented. There are two importantpoints in the school-based curriculum development research. The first includesdevelopingand validating all the instructional kits used in the school to ensure that- the kits are ready to use and effective, and the second involves the comprehensiveanalysisof all the variables influencing the success of education. For the first point,the.researchand development (R&D) approach is appropriate in the developmentand validation of curriculum supplements. For the second point, regarding causalcorrelations among variables in education, the structural equation modeling isappropriate. There are anumber of educational variables that cannot be directlymeasured; latent variablesmust be formulated through other measurable variables.If the variables cannot be directly measured,we have to form the variables bymeans of variable indicators that can be directly measured by using measurementmodeling. Analyzing causal correlations among latent variables,we can use thestructural equation modeling involvingpath analysis and measurement modeling

Abstract

The educational system and values have developedvery fast, urged by the spirit of reformation in variousaspects of human life. The demand for the formation of acivil society has made education one very effective way toapproach it. For that purpose, there needs to be a changetowards a new paradigm which must be followed with areview on the problems of the national education, thedirection of its policies, and its strategies of problem solving.

Abstract

Digital literacy skills of students in Indonesia are still very low. This study aims to examining the effectiveness of Online Laboratory Simulation with Concept Mapping and Problem-Based Learning model in improving students’ digital literacy skills. The research objectives have been describing the significances of the difference between learned students using the PBL model, Online Laboratory Simulation with Problem-Based Learning (OLS-PBL) model, Online Laboratory Simulation with Concept Mapping and Problem-Based Learning (OLS-CMPBL) model. It is a quasi-experimental with pre and post-test design. The population of this research is students in Islamic State School Yogyakarta (MAN), Indonesia. The random sampling technique was used from the three schools of Islamic State Schools. There were 97 students of class XI science at Islamic State School 1 (MAN 1) as participant. The technique of data analysis was used the paired-sample t-test, comparative-descriptive analysis, and ANOVA mixed design using SPSS 24. The study reveals: (1) The OLS-CMPBL group has a significant difference in the level of digital literacy skills (sig .0000); (2) the OLS-CMPBL was most effective to improve the skills with gain score 0.207 (low). Learning with the OLS-CMPBL model can be an alternative for policymakers and teachers to solve the problems of digital literacy.

Abstract

Abstrak. Five Strategies of Entrepreuneurship Learning untuk Menghasilkan Real Entrepeuneur (Model Pendidikan Entrepreuneurship di Perguruan Tinggi). Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuan entrepreuneur secara nyata pada mahasiswa melalui implementasi lima Strategies of Entreprueneurship Learing dalam kuliah kewirausahaan melalui pembentukan mid-set, attitude, skills, dan knowledge. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development lewat lima Fase Perancangan Pengajaran Model Spiral diadaptasi dari ‘Five phases of instructional design’ dari Cennamo dan Kalk. Pengembangan dimulai dari fase definisi, desain, peragaan, pengembangan, dan penyajian yang pihak-pihak calon pengguna, ahli bidang yang dikembangkan, anggota tim dan instruktur, dan pembelajar. Hasil penelitian berupa model pembelajaran kewirausahaan yang terdiri atas lima strategi pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan secara terpadu, yaitu creative critical constructive imagination, entrepreneurial real life experience, educative disequilibrium conditioning, coaching and mentoring with collaboration and competition, dan community and market impact and involvement. Ujicoba terbatas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan proses dan hasil belajar dari aspek kognitif, afektif, dan keterampilan berwirausaha. Model hipotetik yang digunakan menunjukkan indikasi tercapainya hasil yang sesuai dengan rancangan awal, yaitu wirausaha baru berbasis ilmu pengetahuan. Bentuk usaha dikaitkan dengan kegiatan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Kewirausahaan di antaranya bakso krokot (obat asam urat), minuman kesehatan adas manis (Miss Anis) yang sudah dilengkapi izin Depkes dan Deperindag, tas biji asam, dan keripik biji mahoni (minuman kesehatan). Abstract

AbstractDeveloping the Quality Culture through the Application of ISO 9001:2000 inYogyakarta State University. One achievement that Yogyakarta State University(YSU) has attained in an attempt to be a world class university is that it hasreceived the ISO 9001:2000 certificate, a standard certification for the quality of auniversitys work units. The meaning of quality management according to ISO9001:2000 is a management system to direct and control an organization in terms ofquality. The certification is carried out to develop an organizations cultureconducive for quality development, called a quality culture. Such a culturecomprises values, beliefs, and expectations owned and developed by members ofthe organizations in terms of quality products and services. A strong qualityculture will support YSUs competitive excellence in the long run.Keywords: quality management, quality culture

Abstract

Abstract: This study seeks to (1) reveal the feasibility of an instrument used for assessing the performance of science process skills; (2) describe the assessment results of student’s science process skills; (3) find out the practicality of the instrument to measure student’sscience process skills. This research and development adopted 4D model and non-test instruments. The results of the study are: (1) the instrument for performance assessment,which is in the form of observation sheet, is valid and reliable to measure science process skills; (2) the assessment reveals that students have average prediction and inferential skills, good experiment, measurement and communication skills, and very good observationskills; (3) the instrument has high practicality for measuring student’s science process skills. Keywords: instrument, performance assessment, science process skills, science learning,research and development INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN KINERJA KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SESUAINATURE OF SCIENCE (NOS) Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kelayakan instrumen penilaian kinerja keterampilan proses sains hasil pengembangan, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil pengukuran keterampilan proses sains peserta didik, (3) mengetahui kepraktisan instrumen penilaian kinerja untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (RD) yang mengadaptasi model penelitian pengembangan 4-D dan pengembangan instrumen nontes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan melalui analisis V aiken untuk mencari validitas instrumen, inter-rater reliability untuk mencari reliabitas, dan mengkonversi skor keterampilan proses dan angket respon. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) penilaian kinerja keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dalam bentuk lembar observasi dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, (2) hasil pengukuran keterampilan proses sains peserta didik yaitu keterampilan prediksi dan inferensi dengan kategori cukup, keterampilan eksperimen, pengukuran, komunikasi tergolong baik, dan keterampilan observasi sangat baik, (3) instrumen penilaian kinerja yang dikembangkan memiliki respon keterpakaian dengan kategori sangat baik untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.
