Introduction/Main Objectives: The traditional Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method uses an ordinary least squares regression approach that assumes that indicators must have a continuous scale. When the indicators are categorical, the use of traditional PLS-SEM becomes less appropriate. Background Problems: Multidimensional poverty consists of dimensions that are measured by a binary scale. The use of binary PLS-SEM is better than traditional PLS-SEM in modeling the effect of dimensions on social protection on Java Island. Novelty: The use of binary PLS-SEM with factor scores from the item response theory model applied to the role of dimensions of multidimensional poverty to social protection has not been carried out yet. Research Methods: This study introduces binary PLS-SEM, which is modified from traditional PLS-SEM by changing the data input using a tetrachoric correlation matrix. Finding/Results: Empirical results show that the binary PLS-SEM measurement model is better than traditional PLS-SEM. Evaluation of the structural model shows that the path coefficients of binary PLS-SEM are better than traditional PLS-SEM. Both approaches have an overall model fit. The order of multidimensional poverty dimensions that affect social protection are education, living standard, and health.

Adequate work facilities with suitable conditions that are well maintained and will help smooth the work process in an organization. This study aims to determine the use of work facilities, on the performance of employees in the section of the Regional Financial Management Agency Secretariat of South Sulawesi Province. Therefore, to achieve these objectives researchers used data collection techniques with observation, questionnaires, and documentation with a population of 35 people. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis using percentages and for inferential statistical analysis techniques using data normality tests, product moment correlation analysis, and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the work facilities in the section of the South Sulawesi Provincial Financial Management Agency Secretariat are in a good category, in terms of indicators: machinery and equipment, infrastructure, work equipment, land, and buildings. For the quality of employee performance in the section of the South Sulawesi Provincial Financial Management Agency Secretariat in a good category, which is viewed from: quality, quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, and independence. Based on the product moment correlation test analysis, there is a positive and significant influence on the use of work facilities on the performance of employees in the section of the Regional Financial Management Agency of South Sulawesi Province at 17.00%, stated to be accepted with a moderate level of influence. From the results of simple linear regression analysis shows that there is an influence of work facilities on employee performance in the section of the Regional Financial Management Agency Secretariat of South Sulawesi Province.

Hotel Indah Kendari saat ini menghadapi tantangan dalam pengumpulan dan analisis data kepuasan pelanggan yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga proses pengambilan keputusan menjadi lambat dan kurang akurat. Dalam industri perhotelan yang kompetitif, kepuasan pelanggan menjadi salah satu faktor utama yang menentukan keberhasilan sebuah hotel. Kepuasan pelanggan yang didapatkan adalah kepuasan mengenai ciri atau keistimewaan produk atau rasa produk itu sendiri yang menyediakan tingkat kesenangan konsumen barkaitan dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan konsumsi konsumen [1] . Melalui sistem berbasis web yang dikembangkan, data kepuasan pelanggan dapat dikumpulkan, disimpan, dan didistribusikan secara otomatis dan terpusat. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur analisis dan visualisasi data yang interaktif, memungkinkan manajemen hotel untuk dengan cepat mengidentifikasi area layanan yang perlu ditingkatkan dan mengambil keputusan yang lebih tepat. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, aksesibilitas data, serta kualitas layanan di Hotel Indah Kendari, yang pada akhirnya akan berdampak positif pada kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pengembangan dan penerapan sistem berbasis web untuk distribusi kepuasan pelanggan di Hotel Indah Kendari berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan data, meningkatkan kualitas layanan, dan meningkatkan responsivitas terhadap pelanggan.

Perspektif guru merupakan salah satu hal yang penting untuk diketahui oleh pelaku pendidikan. Tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai dengan baik. Maka dinamikanya adalah dilakukan sebuah evaluasi. Tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai dengan baik di saat pandemi, kurikulum merdeka sebagai bentuk pemulihan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman, kendala dan solusi guru dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka. Metode penelitian kualitatif mengetahui pemahaman, sikap dan rencana guru dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 6 Pemalang. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu guru IPS Kelas 7 di SMP Negeri 6 Pemalang. Akurasi data diperoleh dengan proses triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian (1) Guru menjelaskan bahwa kurikulum merdeka sebagai upaya menanggulangi learning loss; Guru mengatakan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis projek menjadi ciri khusus dalam kurikulum merdeka; Guru mendukung adanya kurikulum merdeka ini; Karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila dinilai oleh guru baik untuk karakter siswa; (2) Guru berinisiatif mengetahui kebutuhan belajar anak; Guru membuat modul ajar pembelajaran berbasis projek dengan tema kearifan lokal; Modul ajar ini dibuat dengan berpedoman pada penguatan 6 karakter Profil pelajar Pancasila. The teacher's perspective is one of the important things for educational practitioners to know. Learning objectives are not achieved well. So the dynamic is that an evaluation is carried out. Learning objectives were not achieved well during the pandemic, the independent curriculum was a form of learning recovery. This research aims to determine teachers' understanding, obstacles and solutions in implementing the independent curriculum. Qualitative research methods determine teachers' understanding, attitudes and plans in implementing the independent curriculum. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The place of research was carried out at SMP Negeri 6 Pemalang. The research subject was the Class 7 social studies teacher at SMP Negeri 6 Pemalang. Data accuracy is obtained by triangulation of sources and techniques. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. From the research results, (1) the teacher explains that the independent curriculum is an effort to overcome learning loss; Teachers say that project-based learning is a special feature of the independent curriculum; Teachers support this independent curriculum; The Pancasila Student Profile Character is assessed by teachers as good for student character; (2) Teachers take the initiative to know children's learning needs; Teachers create project-based learning teaching modules with the theme of local wisdom; This teaching module was created based on strengthening the 6 characteristics of the Pancasila student profile.

Media pembelajaran harus disesuikan dengan perkembangan teknologi supaya mampu meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Peserta didik saat ini masuk dalam generasi Z yang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sangat dekat dengan media sosial. Media sosial yang sangat populer saat ini adalah aplikasi tiktok. Aplikasi tiktok mampu diolah menjadi sebuah media pembelajaran IPS yang menarik dan interaktif. Tujuan penilitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran penggunaan aplikasi tiktok sebagai media pembelajaran IPS dan penagruh penggunaan aplikasi tiktok terhadap minat belajar IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 22 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kausal pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1 Penggunaan Aplikasi TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran IPS pada peserta didik di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Semarang dalam kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 67,4%; (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan penggunaan aplikasi TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Semarang tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang dibuktikan dari nilai thitung sebesar 3.303 dan sig sebesar 0,001< 0,05 sehingga semakin tinggi penggunaan aplikasi Tiktok sebagai media pembelajaran maka minat belajar siswa akan meningkat juga. Besarnya pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap minat belajar siswa yaitu 12,4%.

This research aims to find out how the integration of cultural norms and values in an effort to realize a clean village through Islamic communication. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with field research method to deeply understand the phenomenon of the Clean Village tradition in East Halongonan Sub-district. The results showed that the Clean Village Tradition in East Halongonan Sub-district contains various norms and values that reflect the acculturation of culture, religion, and local philosophy. The norms include social norms in the form of the spirit of mutual cooperation and collective participation regardless of social status; customary norms that regulate ritual procedures from generation to generation such as the preparation of offerings and customary deliberations; and religious norms that emphasize the implementation of joint prayers and recitations according to Islamic teachings. Meanwhile, the values reflected in this tradition include the value of togetherness and mutual cooperation as a form of solidarity, the value of gratitude and respect for ancestors as a form of spirituality and cultural preservation, the value of social responsibility that invites all residents to maintain village harmony, and the value of deliberation that reflects democratic decision-making. All of these norms and values are in line with the philosophy of Poda Na Lima, making this tradition not only a cultural heritage, but also a means of shaping the social and spiritual character of the community.

This study aims to explore the meaning of skincare usage among male students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) Medan, using a qualitative approach with a descriptive-exploratory design. The study analyzes this social phenomenon through Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, which focuses on how meaning is created and communicated through signs in society. Six key concepts from Barthes' semiotic theory—sign, signifier, signified, denotation, connotation, and myth—are used to analyze how skincare usage is understood within the local context of the students. The research utilizes purposive sampling to select five informants: Imam, Shandy, Iqbal, Septian, and Haikal, all male students at UINSU Medan. Data was collected through in-depth interviews to explore their experiences, motivations, and views on skincare usage, as well as secondary data from literature related to global culture and male skincare. The findings show that the use of skincare among male students at UINSU Medan is influenced by several factors, including beauty standards popularized by the media and global culture, as well as religious values they adhere to. From a semiotic perspective, skincare products can be seen as "signs" representing self-awareness about appearance, with the "signifiers" being products such as facial cleansers, toners, and moisturizers. The "signified" is a shift in the understanding of masculinity, where skincare is no longer seen as feminine but as part of modern male identity. In "denotative" terms, skincare usage is understood as an act of maintaining cleanliness and skin health, while "connotatively," it reflects a change in the concept of masculinity, becoming more flexible. The "myth" that emerges is that self-care is a right for every individual, regardless of gender, and can be practiced by anyone without altering their masculine identity. This study provides insights into how global beauty culture influences the behavior of male students in self-care, considering the local social and cultural context in Indonesia.

This study explores the influence of digital archival governance on service efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in Makassar City. The data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving government officials, policymakers, and IT personnel. The findings indicated that the effectiveness of digital archival governance was shaped by institutional preparedness, supportive legal frameworks, community engagement, and technological infrastructure. Capacity-building programs and professional training were essential to enhance the digital competencies of public servants, while participatory governance mechanisms contributed to greater public trust and access. Additionally, emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence presented significant opportunities for optimizing archival systems, though they also introduce challenges related to cybersecurity and ethical management. This study contributes to the discourse on smart governance by highlighting both best practices and obstacles encountered in implementing digital transformation within public administration. It concludes by emphasizing the importance of collaborative governance models, adaptive institutional strategies, and ongoing technological innovation to ensure inclusive and sustainable urban development. Makassar’s experience offers valuable insights for other cities aiming to strengthen digital archival governance as a foundation for improved public service delivery.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi prinsip komunikasi Islam, yaitu Qaulan Sadidan (perkataan yang benar) dan Qaulan Ma’rufan (perkataan yang baik), dalam mendukung program pembangunan di pedesaan Sumatera Utara. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi literatur yang mengacu pada teks Al-Qur’an, hadis, dan berbagai kajian terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Qaulan Sadidan diterapkan melalui kejujuran dan transparansi dalam penyampaian informasi, penyelesaian konflik secara terbuka, serta upaya mencegah penyebaran informasi palsu. Sementara itu, Qaulan Ma’rufan diwujudkan dalam bentuk komunikasi yang santun dan konstruktif, yang efektif meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan sekaligus meminimalkan konflik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan kedua prinsip tersebut mendukung keberhasilan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan, menciptakan komunikasi yang harmonis, serta membangun kepercayaan antara pelaksana program dan masyarakat. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip komunikasi Islam ke dalam strategi pembangunan untuk mendorong perubahan sosial yang positif dan memberdayakan masyarakat sebagai subjek pembangunan.

Digital transformation has become a strategic necessity in strengthening the resilience of government organizations, especially in the face of health crises, natural disasters, and socio-economic pressures. This study aims to analyze how the integration of technology in public services contributes to enhancing organizational resilience in Indonesia’s public sector. A qualitative approach was employed using a case study design focused on a government institution implementing Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE). Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, policy document analysis, and participatory observation. The findings reveal that technological integration through SPBE and digital platforms has improved service continuity, enhanced institutional adaptive capacity, and fostered faster decision-making and cross-sectoral collaboration. However, challenges such as digital infrastructure disparities, uneven digital literacy, and fragmented policy coordination between central and local governments remain significant barriers. The study concludes that technology must be strategically positioned as a long-term component in building public sector resilience.
