Abstract

Background: Highlighting gender in physical education is particularly important due to the prevalence of gender inequalities and stereotypes in this context. Research Objectives: The purpose of this study is to to analyse the development, trends, and patterns of research on gender in physical education. Methods: This research uses bibliometric analysis. The search was initiated using the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases. The results of article findings on the Scopus database showed 242 articles, while the WoS database showed 252 articles. Pre-process bibliographic datasets generated with the ScientoPy tools. Findings/Results: This research shows a growing interest in the topic of gender in physical education since 2005, with a peak in 2023. Publications from different disciplines, such as education, social sciences, sport science, and psychology, demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach to addressing gender inequality. The analysis also identified influential authors, including Daniel Mayorga-Vega and Jesús Viciana, who wrote five articles each. Spain was the largest contributing country, with 105 articles. The keyword “physical activity” appeared 15 times, highlighting the focus on the relationship between physical activity and gender. Conclusion: Bibliometric analyses indicate a strong and growing interest in gender research in physical education. Contributions from influential authors and support from key academic journals have fuelled this progress. Emerging patterns and themes highlight the complexity of gender issues in this context, emphasising the need for ongoing research and practical interventions to promote gender equality. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the evolution of gender research in this field, offering valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers to create an inclusive and equitable physical education environment.

Abstract

PT XYZ as one of the drilling companies engaged in the upstream oil and gas industry has developed a PEKA (Occupational Safety Observation) system which is used to monitor the risk of work accidents. This study aims to analyze the performance of safety culture in drilling activities at PT XYZ through the level of PEKA implementation using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that unsafe conditions are more dominant than unsafe actions at PT. XYZ in the period 2022 to 2024. The anomaly of unsafe actions compared to unsafe conditions at PT. XYZ is suspected to be due to biased observations or reporting. However, in general, the performance of safety culture in drilling activities at PT. XYZ upstream oil and gas in South Sumatra as measured through the implementation of PEKA has been running quite well. This is indicated by the results of multiple linear regression analysis which are significant simultaneously and partially and the level of safety culture of each variable which is at the pro-active level.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the social competence of teachers in developing Social Studies (IPS) learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’arif NU 01 Karangkemiri. The social competence of teachers is an important factor in creating effective interactions with students, colleagues, and parents, thereby contributing to the improvement of student learning motivation and engagement in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The population in this study consists of all social studies teachers at the madrasa, with a sample of one fourth-grade teacher selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted in three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that teachers have good social competence in managing classroom interactions, applying effective communication strategies, and building harmonious relationships with students' parents. Learning methods such as group discussions and project-based approaches have proven to enhance student participation and understanding of social studies material.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the management of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in public universities, particularly at Advanced Indonesia University (UIMA), and to identify efforts to enhance its effectiveness in instilling moral and religious values relevant to current developments. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to provide a systematic overview of the factors influencing the success of PAI, including both teaching aspects and supporting infrastructure. The study identified several challenges, including variations in religious education models, the need to integrate the inclusive spirit of Islamic teachings, educator professionalism, and the limitations in religious infrastructure. Proposed solutions include strengthening the curriculum based on the fundamental values of the Qur'an and Sunnah, alongside a holistic approach that not only focuses on academics but also on character and ethics formation. Additionally, the development of facilities, such as mosques, is expected to support increased religious activities. The conclusion of this research is that the management of PAI at public universities, like UIMA, requires an integrated approach that blends academic knowledge with support from various stakeholders to foster a competitive and character-building Islamic education. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tantangan dalam pengelolaan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di perguruan tinggi umum, khususnya di Universitas Indonesia Maju (UIMA), serta upaya untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan agama yang relevan dengan perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menyusun gambaran sistematis mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan PAI, baik dari aspek pengajaran maupun infrastruktur pendukung. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan, termasuk model pengembangan pendidikan agama yang berbeda, pentingnya integrasi semangat inklusivitas ajaran Islam, profesionalisme pendidik, dan keterbatasan sarana prasarana keagamaan. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup penguatan kurikulum dengan dasar nilai-nilai fundamental Al-Qur’an dan as-Sunnah, serta adopsi pendekatan holistik yang tidak hanya mencakup aspek akademis tetapi juga pembentukan karakter dan etika mahasiswa. Selain itu, pengembangan sarana seperti masjid diharapkan dapat mendukung peningkatan aktivitas keagamaan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pengelolaan PAI di perguruan tinggi umum, seperti UIMA, tidak hanya membutuhkan pendekatan yang terintegrasi dengan ilmu pengetahuan umum, tetapi juga dukungan dari berbagai pihak untuk mencapai pendidikan Islam yang berdaya saing dan berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter Islami.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati bagaimana penanaman nilai Pancasila terutama sila pertama yakni, “Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa“ di Sekolah Dasar. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana cara menanamkan nilai Pancasila terutama sila pertama kepada anak-anak sekolah dasar agar dapat diamalkan di kehidupan sehari-hari?” Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah survey. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 1 orang guru dan 10 siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar dengan rincian 6 orang laki-laki dan 4 orang perempuan serta 1 orang guru Agama. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi secara langsung. Sedangkan Teknik analisis datanya adalah dengan mengakumulasikan hasil survey secara langsung. Akhirnya kesimpulan dari survey ini yaitu : Bahwa penanaman nilai Pancasila harus dilakukan sejak dini terutama pada sila pertama, agar dapat diterapkan di kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci : Penanaman Pancasila, Sila Pertama, Aktivitas pesrta didik, Metode pembiasaan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial serta secara simultan Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Balai Latihan Pendidikan Teknik (BLPT) Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan populasi seluruh karyawan Balai Latihan Pendidikan Teknik (BLPT) Yogyakarta dengan sampel 89 orang karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji instrumen, asumsi klasik, dan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan uji t, uji F, koefisien korelasi (R) dan koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R Square). Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SPPS versi 23 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Variabel Motivasi juga memiliki berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Sedangkan secara simultan Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil uji variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat menunjukan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi (R) memperoleh nilai sebesar 0,820 yang berarti memiliki hubungan sangat kuat, sedangkan hasil uji Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,665 atau 66,5%. Nilai tersebut menunjukan bahwa sebesar 66,5% Kinerja Karyawan dipengaruhi oleh variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi, sedangkan 33,5% sisanya di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. The results of the independent variable test on the dependent variable show that the correlation coefficient (R) value is 0.820, which means it has a very strong relationship, while the Adjusted R Square test result is 0.665 or 66.5%. This value shows that 66.5% of employee performance is influenced by the Leadership Style and Motivation variables, while the remaining 33.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research. Abstract

Background. Employee performance can be utilized to assess an organization's success rate. Aims. This study aims to examine the impact of the work environment and motivation on employee performance at the Yogyakarta Technical Education Training Center (BLPT), both individually and collectively. Methods. This study used a quantitative methodology using a sample of 60 workers to analyze the population of all service personnel at the Technical Education Training Center (BLPT) in Yogyakarta. Google Forms is utilized for data collection, and URLs are disseminated via email: https://forms.gle/XHnMsDQXx9z9NSys8. The data analysis method employs t-tests, F-tests, correlation coefficients (R), determination coefficients (adjusted R-squared), instrument tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and classical assumptions. SPSS software version 25.0 for Windows is utilized for data processing. Result. A significance value of 0.001, which is less than 0.05, suggests that the motivation component has a significant impact on employee performance, according to the study's findings. A significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates that workplace characteristics have a significant influence on employee performance. At the Yogyakarta Technical Education Training Center (BLPT), employee performance is profoundly influenced by motivation and the work environment, evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. A robust correlation was identified between employee performance, work environment, and motivation, as demonstrated by a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.821. The adjusted R-squared value, as ascertained by the coefficient of determination test, is 0.663, or 66.3%. Conclusion. This statistic demonstrates that motivation and work environment account for 66.3% of employee performance, while the remaining 33.7% is ascribed to factors beyond the purview of this study.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Industri pupuk amonia dan urea berisiko tinggi akibat bahan kimia berbahaya dan kebakaran. Pelatihan keselamatan efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan karyawan. Penelitian ini menganalisis perubahan pemahaman, kesadaran, dan kepatuhan karyawan sebelum dan setelah pelatihan keselamatan kerja.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kuesioner untuk 100 karyawan, mencakup data demografi, penilaian pelatihan, kesadaran, dan kepatuhan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara pelatihan keselamatan dengan kesadaran serta kepatuhan karyawan.Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari kesadaran dan kepatuhan karyawan sebagai hasil dari pelatihan keselamatan kerja dengan p value (0,000). Karakteristik demografis seperti pengalaman kerja dan jabatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesadaran dan kepatuhan karyawan, sedangkan jenis kelamin dan tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh signifikan.Kesimpulan: Pengujian N-Gain menunjukkan efektivitas pelatihan dalam kategori cukup efektif. Penelitian lanjutan perlu menguji dampak durasi pelatihan serta faktor kontekstual seperti budaya perusahaan.

Abstract

Motivation in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic is a very important element in maintaining the physical condition of athletes in training, with high motivation, the achievements of swimming athletes will obtain far more optimal performance results. This study aims to determine the perceptions of athletes, parents and coaches regarding exercise motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Motivation in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic is a very important element in maintaining the physical condition of athletes in training, with high motivation, the achievements of swimming athletes will obtain far more optimal performance results. This study aims to determine the perceptions of athletes, parents and coaches regarding exercise motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The population in this study were swimming athletes, parents and swimming coaches, the sample selection using purposive sampling technique. The motivational instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire conducted through interviews with the research sample. The results of the study showed that athletes and coaches had a high desire and motivation in training, but the parents did not give permission, because they were worried about the safety of their children practicing swimming which could allow them to be exposed to the Covid-19 virus. Thus, the athlete's motivation in participating in training is included in the high category and this condition must be maintained in order to get the optimal target.
