Abstract

Pendidikan harus fokus pada pemahaman berbagai konsep dan keahlian yang diperlukan siswa agar dapat menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan kolaboratif siswa siswa belum maksimal. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pemilihan model pembelajaran yang biasanya didominasi oleh guru, isi kurikulum cenderung tidak kontekstual, tujuan pembelajarn jarang dirumuskan pada pemahaman yang mendalam, tidak adanya kerja sama tim dalam menyelesaikan tugas kelompok, melimpahkan tanggung jawab pada satu anggota kelompok, dan lain sebagainya. Studi ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana model pembelajaran RADEC memengaruhi pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan kolaboratif siswa kelas lima dengan materi bencana alam. SD Negeri Tanjungsari II menjadi lokasi penelitian ini. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 33 siswa dari kelompok eksperimen dan 32 siswa dari kelompok kontrol. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental research pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes uraian pemahaman konseptual dan lembar observasi keterampilan kolaborasi. Uji Mann-Whitney memperlihatkan adanya perbedaan peningkatan dalam pemahaman konseptual yang signifikan antara kedua kelas. sebagai nilai signifikansi (two-tailed) data N-Gain 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Siswa di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran RADEC memiliki keterampilan kolaborasi yang secara signifikan lebih rendah daripada siswa di kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, menurut hasil uji Mann-Whitney. Nilai asymp. sig. (two-tailed) untuk hubungan antara kemampuan kolaborasi siswa adalah 0,000 kurang dari 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model pembelajaran RADEC dapat mempengaruhi pemahaman konsep dan kolaborasi siswa.

Abstract

Keterampilan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital bagi guru saat ini adalah sebuah kebutuhan penting dalam menciptakan pembelajaran lebih bermakna. Keterampilan ini mencakup pada kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan beragam perangkat digital untuk dimanfaatkan dalam memudahkan kegiatan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru khususnya dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital melalui pelatihan dengan model experiential learning. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 56 peserta dari guru jenjang SD/MI, SMP/MTs, dan SMA/MA di Kabupaten Sumedang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam tiga langkah; (1) Basic experience, pada tahap awal dilakukan melalui kegiatan pemaparan dari narasumber mengenai pemahaman dan pentingnya media pembelajaran, (2) Reflection, pada tahap kedua dilakukan melalui kegiatan refleksi dan diskusi untuk menentukan media pembelajaran apa yang akan dikembangkan oleh setiap peserta, dan (3) Action, sebagai kegiatan akhir dilakukan melalui praktik mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Sebagai bentuk keberhasilan dari pelatihan ini adalah tercapainya; (1) Pemahaman guru mengenai pentingnya memiliki keterampilan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis digital, dan (2) Seluruh peserta menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital berupa; infografis, video explainer dan edugame sederhana.

Abstract

Kurangnya variasi dan penggunaan teknologi di dalam kelas, yang berdampak pada rendahnya antusiasme dan keterlibatan peserta didik, adalah hal yang mendorong penelitian ini. Hal ini mengganggu kapasitas kognitif mereka dan membuat mereka lebih sulit untuk menyerap materi pelajaran. Hambatan lain dalam pengembangan media interaktif di sekolah dasar adalah kelangkaan sumber belajar. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan dan pengembangan media yang lebih interaktif diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik dan mendorong mereka untuk belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana pembelajaran diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan media interaktif ClassPoint, mengukur perbedaan kemampuan kognitif di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah perlakuan, memeriksa respon peserta didik, dan memastikan bagaimana media ini berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan kognitif peserta didik kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi-eksperimen. Terdapat 28 murid di kelas eksperimen dan 28 murid lainnya di kelas kontrol untuk penelitian ini. Dengan nilai yang lebih tinggi di kedua kelas setelah treatmen, hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberhasilan pembelajaran ClassPoint. Dengan nilai gain score sebesar 0,64 (kategori sedang), penerapan materi ini membantu meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif. Menurut penelitian ini, peserta didik lebih terlibat, aktif, dan memperoleh keterampilan baru sambil memanfaatkan media berbasis teknologi untuk mengembangkan pemahaman kognitif yang lebih dalam tentang mata pelajaran.

Abstract

The limited integration of interactive and contextual digital learning materials in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) instruction at the elementary school level remains a considerable obstacle in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. A real-world-oriented learning approach is essential to foster students’ 21st-century competencies. This study aims to develop a STEM-integrated e-module on the water cycle topic for fifth-grade students in elementary schools. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE development model, which comprises five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The product was validated by five experts, including two media experts and three content experts. The validation results indicated that the e-module achieved an average score of 96,65% from media experts and 94% from content experts, resulting in a combined score of 95,25%, which falls into the “highly valid” category. The practicality of the e-module was assessed through individual trials (n = 3; 100%), small-group trials (n = 24; 87%), and large-group trials (n = 27; 81,75%), with an overall average score of 88.6%, classified as “highly practical.” These findings confirm that the developed STEM-integrated e-module is both valid and practical, and thus appropriate to be implemented as a digital instructional material in IPAS learning on the water cycle topic at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an android-based SICERNA application as a learning medium to improve the conceptual understanding of fifth grade elementary school students on the human digestive system material. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 32 fifth grade students of SDN Genteng 1. Data collection instruments included interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the media expert validation showed an average score of 90.7%, while the results of the material expert validation obtained a score of 93.5%, both of which are included in the very decent category. Students' responses to the SICERNA application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) instrument obtained a score of 91, which is included in the very good category. The test results showed that the average pretest score was 47.53, while the average posttest score increased to 75.78, and the results of the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value (Sig.) Of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there was an increase in students' conceptual understanding after using the learning application. Product effectiveness test through N-Gain test analysis showed an average score of 0.5816, which is in the moderate category, and effectiveness of 58.16%, which is included in the fairly effective category. Thus, the SICERNA application is declared feasible and effective to be used as a science learning media and can be considered as an effective solution to improve students' conceptual understanding of the human digestive system material.

Abstract

This study is titled “The Effect of Augmented Reality-Based Learning Media on the Cognitive Aspects of Fifth Grade Students in Anatomy Material.” It aims to determine the effect of using AR media on students’ cognitive learning outcomes in respiratory and digestive system topics. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects consisted of 60 fifth-grade students from SDN Pamujaan 01, divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments, and analyzed using several techniques including normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, N-gain test, and effect size analysis. The results showed that AR media had an effect on students’ science learning outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that AR media has a positive and significant impact on enhancing students’ cognitive aspects and can serve as an innovative alternative in teaching abstract anatomical concepts.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low student learning outcomes caused by conventional learning, which tends to be monotonous and teacher-centered. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research type and a pretest-posttest control group design. The study sample consisted of two groups: an experimental group treated with experimental learning, and a control group treated with conventional learning methods. Data analysis used normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests due to the non-normal distribution of the data. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference in cognitive ability improvement between the experimental and control groups. The experimental group using the experimental learning method obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.587 (moderate category), while the control group obtained an average score of 0.389 (moderate category). The results obtained were greater in the experimental group, indicating that the experimental method was more effective than conventional learning in improving students' cognitive abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of digital teaching materials in science learning at SDN Kondang 01. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data was obtained through observation, structured interviews with two teachers who used digital teaching materials in science learning and documentation. The focus of the study includes identifying needs, supporting factors, obstacles faced, and the impact of the use of digital teaching materials in science learning. The findings show that learning videos from the YouTube platform are the most frequently used digital media because they are able to convey material visually and attractively, making it easier for students to understand. The success of the use of digital teaching materials is supported by the availability of devices such as laptops, projectors, internet networks, and teachers' skills in operating technology. However, the learning process still faces a number of challenges, such as network disruptions, limited student devices, and technical obstacles such as power outages or damaged equipment. The use of digital teaching materials has a positive influence, including increasing students' enthusiasm and motivation to learn, making it easier for teachers to deliver abstract material and encouraging teachers to continue to develop competence and creativity. To overcome the barrier, teachers implement strategies such as downloading video materials first or combining digital learning with hands-on practice. This study recommends the need to improve infrastructure and technology training facilities for teachers to support the optimization of digital teaching materials in science learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Memajukan dan menyetarakan kualitas pendidikan di wilayah kepulauan masih menjadi tantangan, terutama terkait dengan keterbatasan akses terhadap pengembangan profesional guru dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran mutakhir. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru di wilayah Pulau Tidung, Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta, dalam menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam dengan berbantuan kecerdasan artifisial sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang mendorong pemahaman mendalam dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan daring dan luring, pendampingan praktik pembelajaran, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 48 guru di Pulau Tidung Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru, dengan perbandingan rerata skor hasil pre-test 75,61 dan rerata skor hasil post-test menjadi 80,15. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan sistem bauran dengan pendekatan experiential learning dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru untuk implementasi pembelajaran mendalam di daerah kepulauan.

Abstract

This paper describes the developmental process of PETA (Penjelajahan Matematika)learning media based on the Android application on speed learning materials at a fifth-gradeelementary school, determines the feasibility of the application through the validation process ofexperts, and finds out the compatibility of applications in several devices with different Androidversions. The research uses a research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE model(Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of the research are (1) thedevelopment of the PETA application is relevant to the needs of the mathematics learning process onspeed learning material at class V SD, (2) the design of the PETA application is adopted from theconcept of exploring games with various forms of presentation, (3) the PETA application design thathas been made is developed into file.apk., (4) the PETA application has the feasibility of the content inthe very feasible category with a percentage of 97%, the feasibility of the media in the very feasiblecategory with a percentage of 92.75%, and already fulfilled the standard of portability on adaptabilityand installability aspects with a testing percentage of 100%, and (5) the final product of the PETAapplication is developed based on the evaluation results at the testing stage of functional suitabilityand portability by making minor improvements to the instruction aspects of the use and the additionalmenu of an "additional information" to make it easier for users to get information about latest updatesof the PETA application.
