Abstract

Integrated learning media with technology is believed to be an effective alternative for teachers in supporting students' learning process. Currently, students need interesting digital teaching materials that support the learning process. This study aims to: 1) Determine the design and development of the ACITUM e-book (I Love Plants) to introduce plant parts and functions to fourth grade students in Elementary Schools. 2) Determine the results of the implementation of the development of the ACITUM e-book (I Love Plants) to introduce plant parts and functions to fourth grade students in Elementary Schools. The research method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D). This study uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The suitability aspect of the ACITUM e-book trial is in the very Valid category with a material feasibility percentage of 93% and a media feasibility percentage of 94%. The average SUS score for using the ACITUM e-book is 91.25, ranked A, with the Best Imaginable category, the ACITUM e-book is in an acceptable condition, and the interpretation results of the Net Promoter Score (NPS) show the Promoter level. The results of interviews with students showed that the ACITUM e-book was considered very helpful, interesting, and enjoyable for students in learning science materials, especially about the parts and functions of plants.

Abstract

Indonesia faces ongoing challenges in literacy and numeracy skills, as highlighted by low PISA scores. This research aims to develop an innovative learning module that integrates Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) with augmented reality (AR) technology for primary school students. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, this study followed the 4D model. In the Define stage, a needs analysis through literature review and field study identified gaps in current IPAS learning and limited technology integration. The Design and Development stages focused on creating an IPAS module incorporating AR, validated by experts in science, social studies, and technology, which demonstrated its validity. During the dissemination stage, the module was tested for compatibility on various Android devices and was 100% successful in both installation and uninstallation. In addition, a feasibility test was conducted using a User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) with 24 students, showing very positive results, with scores of Attractiveness (2.63), Clarity (2.13), Efficiency (2.38), Accuracy (2.25), Stimulation (2.38), and Novelty (2.56). All scores were above the positive threshold (>0.8). These findings show that the integration of AR in the IPAS module not only increases student engagement but also supports literacy, numeracy, and independent learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Scratch media on the mastery of concepts of fourth grade students in the water cycle material. The study used a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design involving 30 students. The results showed a significant increase in the average student score from 28.3 (pretest) to 75.3 (posttest). Wilcoxon analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), which indicated that there was a positive effect of using scratch media on students' mastery of concepts in fourth grade. Scratch media effectively makes learning more interesting, interactive, and helps students understand abstract concepts more concretely.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Salah satunya ditandai dengan sikap siswa yang tidak aktif dalam bertanya, berdiskusi, dan rendahnya motivasi atau antusias siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Temuan di lapangan menunjukkan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dalam pembelajaran menjadi salah satu penyebab rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran terutama dalam pembelajaran IPA. Banyak ditemukan siswa yang kurang berpartisipasi aktif sehingga cukup sulit untuk memahami dan menguasai materi yang dipelajari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan non-equivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri yang terakreditasi A di Kecamatan Rancaekek. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni siswa SDN Bojong Salam 01 tahun ajaran 2023-2024 kelas IV A sebanyak 31 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IV B sebanyak 31 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep siswa menggunakan model team games tournament dengan pemahaman konsep siswa menggunakan model ceramah. Selain itu, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran team games tournament berpengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IV pada materi perubahan energi. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif pada materi sistem pencernaan sehingga pembelajaran kurang mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif “FUNCERNA” berbasis Story-Based Learning pada materi sistem pencernaan di SD Negeri Talun. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Media dikembangkan menggunakan Articulate Storyline. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 2 ahli media, 3 ahli materi, dan 24 siswa sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan angket skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh persentase validasi sebesar 89% dari ahli media dan 96% dari ahli materi dengan kategori sangat layak. Respon siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media “FUNCERNA” layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS serta mampu mendukung minat dan keterlibatan siswa selama proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan STEM terhadap literasi sains dan kreativitas siswa kelas V sekolah dasar pada materi energi listrik. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Sukaraja II, Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan, dengan sampel masing-masing 29 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental dengan desain non-equivalent control group  yang melibatkan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi soal tes, lembar observasi dan rubrik kreativitas. Tes berbentuk soal uraian sebanyak 12 butir yang diberikan sebelum pembelajaran (pretest) dan setelah pembelajaran (posttest) untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor literasi sains kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 60,45 pada pretest menjadi 78,07 pada posttest dengan kenaikan 17,62. Sementara itu, kelas kontrol meningkat dari 62,21 menjadi 69,52 dengan kenaikan 7,31. Peningkatan kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji independent samples T-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan. Selain itu, hasil observasi kreativitas menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor rata-rata 85% (kategori sangat tinggi), sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh 71,1% (kategori tinggi). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan STEM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi sains dan kreativitas siswa kelas V pada materi energi listrik

Abstract

Bullying is a problem that can occur in educational settings. The existence of bullying in primary education can be the seed of other forms of violence. The role of educators in schools is needed in an effort to reduce the number of bullying through various strategies. This study aims to determine the effect of using character education-based animated videos on students' understanding based on two aspects, namely knowledge and awareness of bullying. The research subjects were high school students in Sumedang Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection instrument was a test administered to 96 students to measure the level of knowledge and awareness about bullying. The results of the paired t-test showed that the knowledge aspect obtained a value of p<0.05 (0.00<0.05) and the awareness aspect obtained a value of p<0.05 (0.00<0.05), meaning that there was a difference between the average score of the pre-test and post-test scores from the knowledge and awareness aspects. The use of character education-based animated videos significantly improved the knowledge and awareness of high school students towards bullying behavior.

Abstract

This study describes the process of developing VG-Plant learning media based on articulate storyline 3 on plant reproduction material in class IV elementary school. The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility of VG-Plant media through the validation process of experts, measure the perception of media usability, and determine the compatibility of media on several different android version devices. The research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method and the ADDIE model which goes through five stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subject of this research was 32 fourth grade students and the feasibility of material and media was taken from the validation of experts. The results of this study are VG-Plant learning media relevant to the needs of the science learning process in grade IV on plant reproduction material. VG-Plant media design is made in the form of a.apk file. VG-Plant media is calculated using the Content Validity Index (CVI) and has the feasibility of content and media quality with a scale of 1 and in the "relevant and feasible to use" category. Then, the usability of VG-Plant media is categorized as "Excellent" with a value of 88 which is calculated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. And VG-Plant media has met compatibility standards in the aspects of adaptability and installability with a test percentage of 100% on several android versions. Thus, it can be concluded that VG-Plant media is feasible to use and can be operated on all devices with android specifications version 6 to android version 13.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan penggunaan media bomb-bomb car pada materi ASEAN kelas VI SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (RnD). Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluatuion. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu setelah melewati proses validasi oleh 4 ahli media dan 5 ahli materi, media ini mendapatkan nilai i-CVI dan s-CVI sebesar 1 baik dari segi media ataupun materi sehingga media bomb-bomb car dapat dinyatakan valid atau layak untuk digunakan. Kemudian, setelah dilakuan proses validasi, media bomb-bomb car juga diimplementasikan kepada 27 peserta didik kelas VI SD di Kabupaten Sumedang dan mendapatkan rata-rata nilai SUS sebesar 94 dengan kategori best imaginable atau memiliki tingkat kegunaan yang sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, data tersebut dapat membuktikan bahwa media bomb-bomb car sudah valid atau layak untuk digunakan pada materi ASEAN kelas VI SD.

Abstract

The health of school-age children is one of the big problems facing Indonesia. School Health Efforts (UKS) aim to improve student health, but UKS is not yet running as optimally as possible. Innovations are needed that can optimize the implementation and achievements of school health, especially in improving student health. This research aims to develop Healthy School Campaign media for high-class students at SDN Gudang Kopi II. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE development model flow. This research was carried out at Gudang Kopi II Elementary School, Sumedang Regency. The type of data collected is qualitative and quantitative data. This research and development produced Healthy School Campaign media in the form of an e-flipbook with product specifications including: 1) Health material and information with 3 main focuses, namely healthy nutrition, physical health, and immunization health, 2) Healthy canteen educational videos, 3) Movement videos and healthy school songs, 4) Application to scan nutritional information from barcodes on food or beverage product packaging, 5) Crossword puzzle games. Based on validation results by experts and student questionnaire responses, this e-flipbook is in the very good category for use as Healthy School Campaign Media.
