Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan sebuah temuan di lapangan bahwa belum sepenuhnya guru sekarang menggunakan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif di dalam kelas pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Kurangnya pemangfaatan media pembelaran yang sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan membuat siswa menjadi cenderung mudah bosan, kurang bersemangat, dan sulit memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran yang diberi nama DISIAR (Diorama Siklus Air) pada pembelajaran IPA Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE. Penelitian model ADDIE adalah model yang melibatkan prosedur atau Langkah-langkah yang meliputi Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evalutation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media DISIAR (Diorama Siklus Air) dinyatakan layak digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media mendapatkan persentase akhir sebesar 92,1% dengan kategori “sangat layak” dan validasi ahli mareri mendapatkan persentase akhir sebesar 94% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil Respon mendapatkan persentase akhir sebesar 97% dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan hasil respon siswa sebanyak 30 siswa mendapatkan persentase akhir sebesar 95% dengan kategori “sangat baik”.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses sains fisika siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS) berbantuan multimedia pada pokok bahasan fluida statis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian randomized control group Pretest-Potstest design. populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Bekasi sedangkan sampel dari penelitian ini adalah di pilih dua kelas kelas XI dari keseluruhan populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterampilan proses sains setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS) berbantuan multimedia meningkat secara signifikan dilihat dari nilai gainnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata N-gain keterampilan proses sains 57% untuk kelas eksperimen dan 49% untuk kelas kontrol,Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS) berbantuan multimedia dapat lebih meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains di bandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional berbantuan multimedia.

Abstract

The integration of technology in learning is constantly evolving to improve student understanding. One of the challenges in teaching science in elementary schools is presenting abstract concepts, such as faunal diversity, in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. Augmented reality offers a solution by providing an immersive visual learning experience. This study aims to assess the effect of augmented reality flashcards on understanding the concept of faunal diversity in fifth grade students. This study used an experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design, students were divided into two groups, where the experimental group used augmented reality flashcards and the control group with conventional methods. Data was collected through pretest and posttest, analyzed using paired sample t-test, independent t-test, effect size, and N-Gain. The results showed a significant increase in the understanding of students who used augmented reality flashcards (Sig. 0.004 <0.05) with an effect size of 2.08 (large category). N-Gain analysis showed a higher increase in comprehension in the experimental group (0.57) compared to the control group (0.36). This finding confirms that augmented reality flashcards can be an effective learning tool for teachers in teaching abstract science concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using digital learning media based on YouTube videos on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students in the topic of changes in the states of matter. The research employed a quasi experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes; the experimental class received instruction through YouTube videos, while the control class used the traditional lecture method. Data we collected using pretest and posttest to asses cognitive learning outcomes, and questionnaires were distributed to measure learning student responses toward the learning media. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental class average score, increasing from 52,17 to 78,29, compared to the control class which rose from 55,33 to 63,50. The Mann-Whitey test revealed a significance value of 0.003 (p<0,05), indicating a significant difference between the groups. Furthermore, student responses to the use of YouTube video media were highly positive, whit an average response rate of 95,05%. These findings indicate that YouTube-based digital learning media is effective alternative in teaching, especially for topics requiring concrete visualization such as changes int the states of matter.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of using Google Sites-based Madupling media on living things and their environment in class II elementary school. Madupling media is a website-based learning media which contains material and quizzes. The method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method by applying the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Maduplimg media based on Google sites was validated by material and media experts by obtaining i-CVI and s-CVI values ​​of 1 indicating high suitability both in terms of material and media, so that this media was declared suitable for use. Then, this media was tested on 30 grade II elementary school students in Cibeureum II, Sumedang Regency, who gave a final SUS score of 91, indicating the excellent category or having a high level of usefulness. With this conclusion, Google Sites-based Madupling media has been proven to be valid and suitable for use in learning material about living things and their environment in class II elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan permasalahan adanya siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar pada pembelajaran IPA. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rendahnya penilaian harian yang dicapai oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar yang dialami oleh siswa. Desain penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah deskripif kualitatif. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Gununglarang 3 Kabupaten Majalengka, berjumlah 4 orang yang berkesulitan belajar IPA, guru kelas, dan orang tua siswa. Pada penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan teknik wawancara untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai hambatan belajar yang dirasakan oleh siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data lainnya yang digunakan lainnya adalah dokumentasi. Dokumentasi berupa nilai penilaian harian siswa. Dengan analisis penelitian data Interactive Analysis Model. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa. Kesulitan belajar diantaranya adalah dalam memahami penjelasan dan kesulitan memahami materi. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi pembelajaran yang tidak diperhatikan, antusias belajar rendah dan kurangnya konsentrasi siswa. Faktor eksternal diantaranya kurangnya perhatian orang tua, penyajian materi yang monoton, dan sarana prasarana pembelajaran yang belum memadai.

Abstract

This developmental study aims to design an educational media tool with the named SAREHAT application as an effort to enhance students' comprehension of body health topics in fifth-grade elementary school, which is motivated by students' low comprehension of body health. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) methodology with the ADDIE instructional design approach, which consists of the following stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research population includes 36 students and teachers from the fifth-grade class at SDN Tanjunglaya 02, as well as 2 teachers and 3 experts. Data was collected using techniques such as interviews, validation forms, student response questions, and comprehension tests. The results of the study prove that the SAREHAT application as an educational media is feasible and successful in improving students' comprehension of body health topics and has received positive responses from students. Thus, the SAREHAT application can raise students' consciousness of the importance of protecting body health, which can foster healthy lifestyle comportments from an early age.

Abstract

Problems in science learning in elementary schools often arise due to the dominance of lecture methods and the use of conventional media that make students less active and have difficulty understanding abstract concepts, such as human respiratory organs. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Augmented reality (AR)-based learning media in improving the understanding of basic concepts of fifth-grade students on the material. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving 50 students, consisting of 30 students in the experimental class who use AR media and 20 students in the control class who study conventionally. The research instruments in the form of pretest and posttest tests, validated using Pearson correlation and Cronbach's Alpha reliability, then analyzed through Paired t-test, Independent t-test, N-Gain, and Cohen's d tests. The results showed that the use of AR media provided a significant increase in learning outcomes, with an average N-Gain of 0.6078 in the fairly effective category and an effect size of 1.92 in the large effect category, while the control class only achieved an N-Gain of 0.1625 with an effect size of 0.72. These findings confirm that AR media can provide interactive visualizations that make abstract concepts more concrete and understandable, while simultaneously increasing student engagement in learning. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on the use of immersive technology for science learning in elementary schools and supports the development of digital-based pedagogical innovations relevant to 21st-century needs.

Abstract

Kekurangan kesempatan untuk melatih pemikiran kritis dalam proses pembelajaran menyebabkan siswa menghadapi berbagai kesulitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model problem based learning (PBL), dampaknya terhadap keterampilan pemikiran kritis siswa kelas V pada topik siklus air, serta perbandingan pemikiran kritis antara pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode quasi-eksperimental dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen digunakan. Sampel terdiri dari siswa kelas V dari SDN 2 Rajapolah (29 siswa) dan SDN 6 Rajapolah (32 siswa), yang dipilih menggunakan sampling purposive. Alat ukur meliputi pedoman observasi dan tes esai. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah diterapkan dengan sangat baik, dengan skor aktivitas guru dan siswa mencapai 83% pada pertemuan pertama dan 96% pada pertemuan kedua. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah secara signifikan mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa (sig. 2-tailed 0,000 < 0,05) dengan ukuran efek besar (1,284 > 0,8). Kemudian, keterampilan berpikir kritis pada model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan model pembelajaran konvensional menunjukkan perbedaan (sig. 2-tailed 0,000 < 0,05). Namun, berdasarkan nilai n-gain, pembelajaran berbasis masalah menghasilkan peningkatan yang lebih besar (0,3416) dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional (0,0772), menunjukkan efektivitas yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop PORMASI learning media, which stands for Project Scratch Energy Transformation, based on Scratch web to improve fourth-grade students' understanding of energy transformation material and to determine the feasibility of Scratch web-based media in science material in fourth-grade elementary schools, as well as to describe the design of Scratch web-based media development in energy transformation material. The benefits of this research are expected to be one of the learning media solutions that can be used in the classroom for abstract science learning and can help improve students' understanding, especially of energy transformation material. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development), with the ADDIE development model, which includes the following stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The researcher used the following data collection tools: interview questionnaires, expert validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest essay questions. This study involved 38 students, including 15 boys and 23 girls, for 3 days at a public elementary school in the Solokanjeruk subdistrict. The learning media that had been developed obtained a feasibility rating of 93% from subject matter experts, 93% from media experts, and 97% from language experts, with a student response rate of 77% to this media. Thus, it can be seen that this Scratch web-based media is good and very feasible to use as learning media. This was also proven by the N-Gain results, which obtained a percentage of 58% or were considered quite effective.
