Abstract

Currently, various types of news media that are developing have their own challenges, one of them is the increasing number of digital or online media. The increasing number of digital media in the form of online news sites not only has a positive impact on society, but also poses challenges. The more the number of online news portals increases, the more information is spread out. With a variety of topics and diverse information, it creates problems for readers to make time efficient in reading in full to obtain the desired information. This makes the phenomenon of text summarization very important. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Latent Semantic Analysis method in the text summarization process. The dataset used comes from previous research which includes 100 Indonesian news articles from various online news portals. In the experiment process, the Steinberger and Jezek techniques are used for the sentence selection process. The summary process is carried out using three types of compression rates, namely 10%, 30% and 50%. The best results obtained in this study are the precision value of 20% at a 10% compression rate, a recall value of 42% at a 50% compression rate, and an f-measure value of 22% at a 50% compression rate.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the Moodle LMS-based blended problem-based learning model which has an effect in improving student learning outcomes and motivation and differences in student learning outcomes and motivation provided by blended problem-based learning model learning based on Moodle LMS with students following a blended learning model. The research design carried out is quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). The research sample consisted of class A as many as 34 people as an experimental class and class D as many as 33 people as a control class. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The results of the study explained that the inferential h asil análisis with the paired simple t test explained that the t-count value is greater than the t-table with a sig value smaller than 0.05 which means that the implementation of a blended problem-based learning model can help increase student learning outcomes and motivation. In addition, the results of the independent simple t test explained that the t-count value is greater than the t-table with a sig value smaller than 0.05 which is meaningful, namely the results and learning motivation of experimental class students have significant differences with control class students.

Abstract

Ketika model jaringan saraf tiruan menjadi lebih baik , keinginan untuk mengimplementasikannya di dunia nyata semakin meningkat. Namun, konsumsi energi dan akurasi jaringan saraf tiruan sangat besar karena ukuran dan kompleksitasnya, sehingga sulit untuk diimplementasikan pada embedded devices. Kuantisasi jaringan saraf ini adalah sebuah teknik untuk dapat memecahkan masalah seperti mengurangi ukuran dan kompleksitas jaringan saraf tiruan dengan mengurangi ketepatan parameter dan aktivasi. Dengan jaringan yang lebih kecil, dimungkinkan untuk menjalankan jaringan saraf di lokasi yang diinginkan. Artikel ini mengkaji tentang kuantisasi yang telah berkembang dalam beberapa dekade terakhir. Dalam penelitian ini, kami mengimplementasikan kuantisasi dalam algoritma lenet-5, yang merupakan algoritma jaringan saraf convolutional pertama yang pernah ada, dan dievaluasi dalam dataset MNIST dan Fashion-MNIST.

Abstract

Pandemi atau wabah virus corona atau biasa disebut juga dengan COVID-19 yang bermula dari Wuhan, Provinsi Hubei, China, terus menyebar ke berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia. Jumlah kasus positif COVID-19 terus meningkat tiap harinya secara signifikan dan menyebar secara cepat ke berbagai provinsi di Indonesia, termasuk di provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Hingga saat ini, telah tercatat kasus positif corona di Sulawesi Selatan sebanyak 18.683 dan 470 orang meninggal dunia. Peningkatan kasus yang signifikan ini, mengakibatkan pembacaan data terkait kasus positif COVID-19 di Sulawesi Selatan dinilai kurang akurat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai langkah antisipasi terhadap pandemi COVID-19 dengan memprediksi tingkat penyebaran COVID-19 terutama di Sulawesi Selatan agar mendapatkan keakurasian data yang lebih baik. Metode penelitian yang di terapkan pada penelitian ini ialah analisis masalah dan studi literatur, mengumpulkan data dan implementasi.

Abstract

Penentuan mahasiswa berprestasi merupakan salah satu langkah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penentuan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang berprestasi untuk memberikan penghargaan dan dukungan yang lebih kepada mahasiswa yang mencapai prestasi akademik terbaik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode FCM (Fuzzy C-Means) untuk mengelompokkan mahasiswa berprestasi berdasarkan atribut penilaian yaitu IPK (Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif), prestasi yang dicapai, jumlah organisasi yang diikuti, dan nilai kehadiran. Fuzzy C-Means digunakan untuk mengelompokkan data, dimana setiap data dapat menjadi anggota dari beberapa cluster dengan atribut yang berbeda dari setiap cluster. Penelitian ini berfokus pada lingkungan mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengelompokkan mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik menjadi dua cluster yaitu Berprestasi dan Kurang Berprestasi, dengan hasil cluster “Berprestasi” sebanyak 51 data responden dengan persentase 61,4% dan cluster “Kurang Berprestasi” sebanyak 32 data responden dengan persentase 39%.

Abstract

This study discusses a web-based waste management transportation information system that adopts effective waste management concepts and strategies with the principle of reduce, reuse, recycle (3R) as a priority in waste management. The purpose of this research is to enhance public participation in waste management by providing relevant information, services, and resources through a website. The main features of this system include the management of community data, waste data, personnel data, and transaction data. Black box testing was conducted to ensure that the system's functionality complies with the specified requirements. The results of the testing demonstrate that the system operates effectively and is ready for comprehensive utilization. By adopting information technology in waste management, this system has the potential to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and environmental awareness, thus contributing to addressing waste management challenges sustainably.

Abstract

The process of controlling irrigation doors in fishponds is still mostly done manually, this results in the performance of farmers being less effective and efficient. Current technological developments, especially in the field of IoT, can be used to design a simulation that is able to control irrigation gates automatically. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the ATmega16-based automatic irrigation gate simulation tool can work well according to the designed working principle. If the condition of fishpond water is less than the ideal height of the fishpond and the condition of river water is more than the height of the fishpond, the motor will move to "open" the irrigation door to fill fishpond water. If the fishpond water condition is more than the ideal height and the river water condition is less than the fishpond height, the motor will move to "open" the irrigation door to discharge fishpond water and if the river water condition is the same as the fishpond water condition, the motor will move "close” the irrigation door so that the ideal height of the fishpond can be achieved. There are certain conditions to control the door manually using the SMS Gateway. Information about the maximum or minimum fishpond water level will be displayed on the LCD to determine the maximum or minimum fishpond height using Keypad.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of social media and investor sentiment on the market reaction of the retail sector in Indonesia. Content analysis determines investor sentiment obtained from social media. Information related to the 2019 Indonesian presidential election was used for content analysis. The study results provide evidence that the information available on social media and online investor sentiment have a positive effect on the market reaction of the retail sector in Indonesia. This study also supports the use of signal theory to explain the effect of information available on social media on the capital market in Indonesia.

Abstract

Data security on village information is a very important issue because it contains a lot of village information data. Important data cannot be denied that data can be edited or changed by unauthorized persons. So the data becomes insecure. Therefore, a technique is needed to secure data, namely using the classic Vigenere cipher cryptography technique, to maintain the security and confidentiality of messages or information so that it cannot be read by anyone, a desktop-based application is designed using the Java programming language which is carried out on the Netbeans IDE software to implementing the vigenere cipher algorithm as a technique for securing village information.

Abstract

Success in the world of education is often associated with successful academic achievements. Therefore, processing information is very important to determine the selection of students who excel. However, study programs and student services often face difficulties in recognizing students who have achievements. In this research, outstanding students from the Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University were determined using the Naive Bayes classification method combined with the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) method to identify data patterns before classification. The criteria measured are GPA, achievements achieved, organizations attended, and the number of Semester Credit Units (SKS) that have been programmed. By using the Confusion Matrix, the evaluation results show an accuracy level of 98%, recall of 97%, precision of 100%, and F1-Score of 99%.
