Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in physics learning outcomes of students in class XII-IPA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng on dynamic electrical (Direct Current) material by using a learning model Problem Based Learning with the help of kahoot media. The type of research used this time is collaborative classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles. The research subjects were 31 students of class XII IPA 4.  Data collection is through teacher observation and giving tests at the end of each cycle. Based on the results of this research, the average value of student learning outcomes was 60.97 in cycle 1 and 81.48 in cycle 2. Classical mastery of learning outcomes reached 48.39% in cycle 1 and 87.10% in cycle 2. So the conclusion in this research is there is an increase in the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes by 38.71%. Keywords: Kahoot Media, Physics Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Abstract. The study was conducted in two cycles, consisting of: planning, implementation, analysis, reflection. The first cycle is obtained, the students activity consider the teacher's explanation 57.14%, using the laboratory equipment of 22.86%. cooperation between students in the group 28.57%, asking questions11.43%, answering teachers questions 45.71%, expressed ideas 8.57%, draw conclusions 42.85%. make reporting 51.43%, punctuality 42.86%. Learning outcomes mean 66.60, highs 79.00, lows 53.00, classical completeness 57.14%. In the second cycle of the student activity increased to 94.28%. Using laboratory equipment 85.71%. cooperation between of students in the group 71.43%, asking the question 40%, answered questions teachers 82.86%, expressed the idea 28.57%, summed 80.00%. makereporting    97.15%,    punctuality    85.71%,    and    learning outcomes mean of 77.80, 89.00 highs, lows 63.00 88.57% classical completeness.published work. Keywords: Learning Activities, Learning Outcomes, Practical Methods, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the improvement in students' physics learning outcomes by using the problem based learning model. This research was classroom action research with research subjects in class XI MIPA 2 as many as 30 students. This classroom action research was conducted at SMAN 6 Enrekang. This research was carried out using two cycles of action or cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely: 1) Design (Planning), 2) Implementation of Activities and Observations (Acting), 3) Observation (Observing), and 4) Reflection ( Reflecting). Based on the research that has been conducted, it was found that the average physics learning outcome of students in cycle I was 70.90 and the average physics learning outcome of students in cycle II was 75.90. Based on the research and discussions that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model can improve students' physics learning outcomes. Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tanggapan kepuasan guru terhadap model “ROKKIE-ORIE” yang berbasis penyelidikan ilmiah dalam pengembangan profesionalisme guru mata pelajaran IPA di Makassar. Model ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan kinerja guru melalui pendekatan yang melibatkan refleksi, observasi, dan penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada guru IPA di beberapa sekolah di Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru merasa puas dengan penerapan model ini, terutama dalam hal peningkatan keterampilan mengajar, pemahaman materi, serta kemampuan melakukan penelitian ilmiah yang mendukung pengajaran. Tanggapan positif juga terlihat pada peningkatan kolaborasi antar guru dalam berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman. Meskipun demikian, beberapa tantangan terkait waktu dan sumber daya yang terbatas dalam implementasi model ini masih ditemukan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa model “ROKKIE-ORIE” efektif dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, dan tanggapan kepuasan guru menunjukkan potensi model ini untuk diterapkan lebih luas dalam pengembangan pendidikan di Makassar

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan memberikan pemahaman kepada guru-guru SMP Maros tentang model pembelajaran SAVI sebagai model pembelajaran alternatif yang dapat digunakan di kelas khususnya pada masa pembelajaran daring. Penerapan model pembelajaran savi dapat dikombinasikan dengan alat peraga sederhana. Peserta kegiatan adalah guru-guru bidang studi matematika dan IPA. Hal pertama yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah melakukan survey dan wawancara dengan guru. Kedua, mengenalkan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan alat peraga sederhana sebagai alternaltif model yang dapat digunakan. Guru-guru dapat menggunakan alat dan bahan yang ada disekitar siswa untuk menjelaskan materi pelajaran. Ketiga, Pendampingan dimana guru mendesain pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model SAVI berbantuan alat peraga sederhana. Evaluasi bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana guru memahami model SAVI dan dapat mengaplikasikannya di kelas. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah guru semakin kreatif dalam mendesain proses pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Pelatihan penggunaan alat ukur fisika di kelas X SMAN 5 Takalar dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan praktikum siswa, terutama dalam membaca data eksperimen secara presisi; kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi mereka dalam mengenali, mengkalibrasi, dan menggunakan mistar, neraca, gelas ukur, serta termometer guna menunjang pembelajaran fisika berbasis eksperimen. Program berlangsung empat sesi tatap muka dengan metode ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi langsung, dan praktik berkelompok terstruktur; 40 siswa dibagi menjadi empat kelompok—Kelompok A (mistar, 7 peserta), Kelompok B (neraca, 7 peserta), Kelompok C (gelas ukur, 7 peserta), dan Kelompok D (termometer, 8 peserta). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan rata‑rata skor keterampilan praktikum sebesar 34 poin (dari 56 menjadi 90 pada skala 0–100); kesalahan pengukuran panjang di Kelompok A turun dari 0,40 cm menjadi 0,07 cm, deviasi massa di Kelompok B menyusut dari 4,2 % menjadi 0,8  %, selisih volume bacaan di Kelompok C berkurang dari 3,5 mL menjadi 0,6 mL, dan selisih suhu bacaan di Kelompok D menurun dari 1,8 °C menjadi 0,3 °C. Manfaat tambahan meliputi meningkatnya kepercayaan diri siswa saat praktikum, terbentuknya budaya diskusi ilmiah lintaskelompok, serta tersusunnya modul praktikum ringkas yang kini diadopsi sebagai suplemen kurikulum sekolah. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini menghadirkan pendekatan praktik terstruktur yang efektif dan melibatkan komunitas sekolah secara langsung, terbukti meningkatkan akurasi pengukuran serta keterampilan ilmiah siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

This research is survey research. This study aims to determine the science literacy of students in terms of the dimension of attitudes towards science. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 school year. The subjects in this study were students of class XII MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Maros. The instrument that used in this study was a attitudes questionnaire of scientific literacy. Data collection is carried out through the provision of questionnaires. The data from the research that was tested for validity were then analyzed quantitatively. The results of this study show a positive attitude towards Science, this is based on the results of research based on 4 indicators of attitudes towards Science, namely support for scientific investigations as much as 68.92%, student confidence in science by 69.86%, interest, motivation and involvement in science by 65%, and responsibility for resources and the environment by 72.06%. The results of the study based on these 4 indicators show that the attitudes of students tend to have a positive attitude towards science, in other words, students of SMA Negeri 8 Maros are enjoyed the science.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam mengelola referensi ilmiah secara efektif melalui pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley. Masalah umum yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam penyusunan tugas akhir adalah ketidakteraturan dalam penulisan kutipan dan daftar pustaka, serta kurangnya pemahaman terhadap etika sitasi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan empat mahasiswa sebagai peserta dan dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, serta penugasan mandiri. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, dengan rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 4,0 meningkat menjadi 9,0 pada post-test. Seluruh peserta berhasil menggunakan fitur-fitur utama Mendeley secara mandiri dalam dokumen Microsoft Word, dan menyatakan pelatihan ini sangat membantu dalam penyusunan tugas akhir. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat praktis, tetapi juga menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya literasi digital akademik dan integritas ilmiah. Dengan demikian, pelatihan Mendeley dapat menjadi model intervensi edukatif yang aplikatif dan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan mutu karya ilmiah mahasiswa.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are activities to channel interests and talents for students at school. This extracurricular activity is very necessary in order to increase students' knowledge in the field of sports and help students form character according to their interests and talents. Therefore, in an effort to increase the motivation of students at SMP Negeri 4 Sendana which is located in North Tammedoro village, Tammerodo Sendana district, Majene district, South Sulawesi Province, the PkM team conducted a program of activities through sports training which included physical and technical exercises. The target of this program is all students of SMP Negeri 4 Sendana. The benefits resulting from this activity provide fun and positive activities, create media to channel students' interests and talents, and help improve achievements, especially in the field of sports.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which aims to determine the description of critical thinking abilities in physics in terms of students' thinking styles. The thinking styles that will be used in this research are concrete sequential, abstract sequential, concrete random, and abstract random thinking styles. The sample in this research was all 37 students in class XI of SMAN 5 Wajo. Data collection techniques use thinking style tests and physics critical thinking ability tests. The thinking style instrument used in this research is an instrument developed by De Porter which consists of 15 numbers with four answer choices. Meanwhile, students' critical thinking abilities are in the form of test instruments. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that students who had a dominant concrete sequential thinking style had the critical thinking category, students who had a dominant abstract sequential thinking style had a level of critical thinking ability in the very critical category, while students who had a dominant concrete random thinking style had The level of critical thinking ability is in the non-critical category, and students who have a dominant abstract random thinking style have the level of critical thinking ability in the moderately critical category.
