Abstract

Pada artikel ini membahas tentang “Perancangan Perangkat Lunak Computer Based Training Materi Fire Protection System Pesawat Boeing 737-800”. Perancangan ini bertujuan sebagai inovasi baru dari suatu media pembelajaran khususnya mengenai materi fire protection system pesawat Boeing 737-800, seperti sistem kerjanya, komponen, serta berisikan quiz untuk dijadikan evaluasi. Perangkat lunak yang dirancang yakni Computer Based Training dengan memiliki fungsi yaitu untuk mengembangkan interaktif dan atraktif para penggunanya. Perancangan ini dilakukan dengan dua metode yaitu, metode analisis dan eksperimental, tahap metode analisis mencakup studi literatur, analisis, penyusunan Design Requirements and Objective (DRO) dan penyusunan materi, sedangkan tahapan metode eksperimental yakni mencangkup pembuatan prototype and model, pembuatan dan pengujian CBT dengan menggunakan bantuan software pendukung yaitu Adobe XD sebagai media pembuatan CBT, dan software Figma sebagai media untuk membuat design. Hasil dari perancangan ini sudah diuji coba oleh beberapa perangkat lunak yang berbeda dan berjalan dengan fungsinya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perancangan perangkat lunak ini dapat menjadi suatu media pembelajaran yang interaktif khususnya mengenai materi fire protection system pada pesawat Boeing 737-800, dan diharapkan artikel ini dapat menambahkan pengetahuan serta bermanfaat bagi pembaca.

Abstract

Program Studi Teknik Aeronautika Politeknik Negeri Bandung merupakan salah satu program studi yang menawarkan pendidikan dalam bidang perawatan pesawat udara. Di bawah naungan kampus vokasi yang menawarkan kegiatan praktik lebih banyak daripada teori. Namun sayangnya pada bidang kelistrikan justru dirasa kurang dalam aspek praktikum, cenderung lebih banyak pembahasan teori daripada praktik langsung pada alatnya. Padahal listrik merupakan elemen yang sangat penting pada pesawat. Oleh karena itu, dalam jurnal ini akan membahas pengembangan modul praktikum untuk baterai pesawat udara. Modul ini akan mengacu pada pengujian low-capacity cell yang akan dilakukan pada baterai jenis nickel-cadmium dengan nominal tegangan 24 V dan kapasitas baterai 43 Ah. Hasil pengujian akan digunakan sebagai data yang akan digunakan dalam menyusun dan merancang modul praktikum. Maka didapatlah output rancangan modul praktikum baterai ni-cd yang terdiri dari empat sub-bab praktikum, dengan durasi total 18 jam yang nantinya akan dikerjakan oleh mahasiswa dengan sebuah PTG (Practical Training Guide) dan Maintenance Manual baterai sebagai dokumen penunjang.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the main objective of identifying the influence of compensation on employee performance at PT Citra Sejati Lestarindo in Bekasi. The research method used is explanatory research, which aims to explain the cause-and-effect relationship between the compensation variable and employee performance. A sample of 68 respondents was taken from the company, using statistical analysis techniques such as regression, correlation, determination, and hypothesis testing. The results of this research show that the compensation variable, expressed in an average score of 3.74, falls within the "good" criteria according to the scale range used in this study. Similarly, the employee performance variable, which obtained an average score of 3.79, also falls within the "good" criteria. This indicates that the majority of respondents view the compensation provided by the company as adequate and having a positive impact on employee performance. Regression analysis shows that compensation has a significant influence on employee performance, with the regression equation Y = 13.242 + 0.658X. A correlation value of 0.754 indicates a strong relationship between the two variables, with the contribution effect of compensation on employee performance reaching 56.9%. The hypothesis test also yielded a t count significantly greater than the t table value, and a significance level smaller than the alpha set, thus accepting the hypothesis that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance statistically. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that the company maintain and improve its already good compensation policies, and empower employees through the implementation of good regulations and more intensive motivation, in order to continue improving employee performance and satisfaction in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical creative thinking abilities of class VII extrovert students in solving open-ended questions on flat shape material. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. This study involved 3 seventh graders studnets who were taken using purposive sampling technique as research subjek. The instrument used for taking prospective subjects is the extrovert personality questionnaire. The data collection techniques used are tests of creative thinking abilities, interviews and field notes.  The data analysis techniques in this study used technical triangulation, namely data redduction, presentation data and conclusion. The results of the study show that extroverted students bring out aspects of novelty and flexibility. Based on research results, the creative thinking abilities of extroverted students is classified at level 2 (Quite Creative). Extrovert students need a discussion space to get feedback so they can issue or present their ideas fluently.

Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the validity, practicality, and validity of problem-based learning teaching modules in the form of flipbooks to improve students' critical thinking skills in Phase E. The type of research used was research and development (RD) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were class X students (Phase E) and educators at SMA N 1 Prembun. Data was collected using interviews, questionnaires, and test questions. Interview sheets, validation questionnaires, practicality questionnaires, and test questions were used as instruments in this study. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the problem-based learning module in the form of a flipbook will improve students' critical thinking skills in Phase E concentration. 1) is valid with a yield proportion of 80%; 2) practical for educators with a proportion yield of 86%; and 3) effective with an n-gain score of 0.78. Based on this, problem-based learning modules in the form of flipbooks to improve students' critical thinking skills in Phase E can be used in educational units with appropriate characteristics. The use of flipbooks is not limited to student worksheets; all independent curriculum modules are in flipbooks.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the stages of students' onto-semiotic approach to solving mathematical problems. This research is based on the mathematical object of the onto-semiotic approach, namely language, concepts, propositions, procedures, situations, and arguments. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological type. The research subjects were high school students of eleventh grade. The technique of taking the subject is using a purposeful sampling technique. The research instrument used a test in the form of a linear program description question. The results of the study show that the onto-semiotic approach contains language stages including changing contextual objects into variables, writing mathematical symbols, writing mathematical models, and others; the concept stage includes students creating and filling in tables by grouping the objects in the problem to make it easier to solve mathematical problems; the proposition stage consists of the reasons students cannot replace variables; the procedure stage include simplifying coefficients and constants, how to get the value of each variable, and others; the situation stage includes writing a mathematical model that will be used to find the value of each variable, find the point of intersection of the line, and others.

Abstract

The construction of vertical housing or apartments is one of the government's efforts to meet the increasing residential needs of urban communities. The hazards that haunt a housing area such as the occurrence of unit fires, the feeling of earthquakes to other events will cause potential disasters and pose a risk. Residents have the right to live in a safe and comfortable residence, of course, with the obligation of the building manager to be able to facilitate these conditions. Effective communication is an important part of receiving messages and information that suits the needs of residents in understanding the risks that exist. The research was conducted to see the ways of communication carried out by residents who live in Kalibata City apartments as a form of disaster preparedness. The method of observation and direct involvement in forums in the Kalibata City resident community was carried out by combining literature review from previous documents. The result of the research is a communication method found in a community in a vertical residential area that matches the character of urban society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan masalah literasi numerasi. Kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dimaksud yaitu kemampuan siswa yang dapat membantu siswa untuk mengambil keputusan dan memberikan alasan dalam langkah penyelesaian masalah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa SMP Negeri 6 Purworejo kelas VIII C yang sudah melaksanakan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum sebanyak dua siswa. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu peneliti dan instrumen pendukung terdiri dari tes dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Data hasil tes dianalisis bersadarkan aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis FRISCO (Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarify, and Overview). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu memenuhi keseluruhan aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis FRISCO. Pada aspek focus, siswa mampu menguraikan informasi yang ada pada soal, aspek reason menunjukkan siswa mampu mengambil langkah penyelesaian atau keputusan dan menyebutkan alasan dari langkah yang diambil, aspek inference menunjukkan siswa mampu menyusun langkah penyelesaian jawaban dengan rinci, aspek situation menunjukkan siswa mampu menggunakan informasi yang diperolehnya, aspek clarify menunjukkan siswa mampu memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut dari jawaban dan membuat mampu kesimpulan akhir sesuai dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari, aspek overview menunjukkan siswa mampu mengecek kembali hasil jawaban yang sudah disusunnya.

Abstract

Nowadays, the development of the automotive industry in Indonesia is increasing followed by high number of motor vehicle theft. In order to reduce the motor vehicle theft case, a Global Positioning System (GPS) based instrument in motor vehicle is investigated to monitor the location of vehicles. This instrument will be run if there are a phone signal from provider and GPS signal from satellite. The method is that the owner sends a text to the destination number installed in the instrument. There are some codes needed to be paired to the instrument. If the code is matched, instrument will reply the text automatically based on the program installed in the instrument. This instrument has many advantages, such as could give the location accurately with an error less than 5 meters, could turn off the vehicle, could give an information if the vehicle is stolen, and also could record the conversations while the vehicles are in use. This instrument is also improved by installing the local language (Indonesian) and features which meet the owner requirements. Generally, it could be concluded that this instrument really helps the rider or owner from motor vehicle theft. Good response and accurate location given by the instrument verified by the finding of lost vehicle showed that this instrument could be applied and important if it is applied in the motor vehicles.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a teaching module product based on Fort Van Der Wijck's ethnomathematics to improve students' numeracy skills in plane material and determine the feasibility of the product in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The type of research used is the research and development method (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kebumen in class VII students using a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques used are interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The research results obtained by the validity analysis from the assessment of material, media, and cultural experts obtained an average of 3.73 valid criteria. The practicality analysis of the response questionnaire obtained an average of 98.25% very positive criteria. Analysis of the effectiveness of the student learning evaluation test results with a completeness of 90% with an average score of 89.6 and an average Gain score of 0.70 or medium predicate. The results of the students' numeration ability test with 85% completeness with an average of 7.81 and an average Gain score of 0.499 or moderate predicate. These data indicate that the teaching modules developed in this study are feasible to use.
