Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology necessitates fundamental transformations in education, particularly through learning innovations that accommodate diverse learning styles, enhance active student engagement, and stimulate intrinsic motivation in mathematics learning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model assisted by Macromedia Flash in improving geometry learning outcomes among eighth-grade students. The research employed a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design with a control group. A total of 55 students were selected through cluster random sampling and divided into an experimental group (SAVI + Macromedia Flash) and a control group (conventional learning). Learning motivation was measured using a validated questionnaire and categorized into high, medium, and low levels. Macromedia Flash was chosen as a digital medium for its ability to visualize abstract geometric concepts interactively and attractively, thereby facilitating students' understanding of complex material. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA to assess the effects of the learning model, motivation level, and their interaction on geometry learning outcomes. The results showed that the SAVI model assisted by Macromedia Flash was significantly more effective in improving geometry learning outcomes than conventional methods (p < 0.05). However, no significant effects were found for motivation level or its interaction with the learning model on learning outcomes. These findings confirm that SAVI-based learning innovations integrated with digital multimedia can optimize geometry learning outcomes evenly, regardless of students' initial motivation levels. This study highlights the practical value of interactive, technology-based approaches in advancing mathematics education.

Abstract

Pedagogical content knowledge is teachers’ knowledge and experience in teaching specific content. However, professional mathematics teachers have not used it as a basis for information in developing mathematics learning models. This study aims to produce a mathematics learning model based on the knowledge and experience of professional teachers in teaching sequences and series. This study uses a development model with the Plomp scheme, which consists of 5 stages: initial investigation, design, realization/construction, testing, and implementation. The subjects in this study were eight high school teachers who have experience and excellent reputations. Data collection techniques are documentation, FGD, observation, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis in this study was qualitative, using percentage-based techniques and vignette analysis of learning outcomes. The results showed that after the needs analysis, realization, and design stages, the product was tested through expert reviews and assessments. The assessment results showed that the product was valid and practical. The implementation stage was conducted in 3 schools, with 147 students as research participants. The results showed that the developed model had a positive, potential impact, as students were more constructive in their learning. Thus, the developed model can serve as a reference for mathematics learning, particularly for sequences and series. During the learning process, students are more creative and constructive, and follow the concept of in-depth learning in a pedagogical context.

Abstract

Background: Purworejo Regency is one of Indonesia's rice-producing regions. Identifying new, superior varieties suitable for various soil types, such as saline soils, is expected to increase rice production in the region. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations for new superior rice varieties based on the highest productivity in saline land in Purworejo Regency, and to create a sustainable agricultural management model. Methods: This study uses PVS tests that can be used in other areas with similar characteristics. This study involved 17 respondents to determine the preferences of each new superior rice variety. Respondents were selected through observation and recommendations from Gapoktan based on the number of farmers active in the rice fields. Observations were also made on new superior rice varieties in the vegetative and generative phases. Observations in the generative phase, including crop yields. Parameters for observation of morphological characters include plant height (cm), number of seedlings, root length (cm), flowering age 50%, number of panicles, number of filled grains, number of empty grains, and weight of filled grain.Results and Discussion: The results of the PVS test, based on farmers' preferences for the presented superior rice varieties, were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this assessment will be balanced against the study's average parameters for each variety. Through the PVS test approach and participatory preference data collection, the Inpari 34 Agritan variety emerged as the main choice, with lower farmer acceptance due to weakness in pest resistance and low productivity, despite its superior characteristics based on morphological observations. In contrast, varieties such as IPB 12S and TP-Padi 2 show relatively lower acceptance among farmers due to weaknesses in pest resistance and low productivity Conclusion: The PVS approach is effective for selecting salt-tolerant rice varieties that are well-suited to farmers’ needs and have the potential to support food security.

Abstract

Abstract— This Geographic Information System can be employed by users using Android-based mobile devices so that they can provide roles and functions to consumers in the form of information related to the installation location of billboards and billboards managed by CV. Tunggal Abadiand its search menu.This application is created using the Best First Search algorithm. The results of this study indicate that the Best First Search Algorithm can be applied in tracing the location of the installation of billboards and billboards for CV. Tanggal Abadi.The resulting application can provide convenience in rinsing the location for installing billboards and billboards for CV. Tunggal Abadi and can be used on the Android platform and based on tests carried out by distributing questionnaires to 10 respondents. Viewing from the results of the average answers, respondents who reached 53% answered strongly agree, 26% agree, 14% disagree, and 14% disagree. Abstract

The global energy crisis is a strategic phenomenon that has a wide impact on the formation and implementation of energy law policies in Indonesia. The imbalance between increasing energy demand and limited fossil energy sources, accompanied by geopolitical dynamics and fluctuations in energy prices, puts Indonesia in a vulnerable position. Although previous research has discussed the economic and policy impacts of the global crisis, there are still legal gaps regarding the effectiveness of national energy regulatory frameworks in responding to crises in an adaptive and sustainable manner. In addition, previous research has not comprehensively explained the relationship between the global energy crisis and regulatory disharmony, legal certainty, and institutional capacity in the implementation of energy policy in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of the global energy crisis on the direction of energy law policy and the effectiveness of its implementation. The method used is normative legal research with a statutory and conceptual approach through literature studies and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that energy legal policies in Indonesia are still reactive, partial, and short-term oriented, causing legal uncertainty and weak integration of sustainable policies. This research offers doctrinal contributions in the form of adaptive energy law concepts based on energy security, regulatory harmonization, and the sustainability of national energy governance.
