Abstract

Poultry farming, especially chicken, contributes to the provision of world food needs, especially in the provision of chicken meat and eggs to fulfill human protein. However, the productivity of chicken farming is often hampered by traditional egg hatching methods. Egg hatching is traditionally done by the mother hen, which affects the number and quality of chicks produced. The purpose of this research is to increase the productivity of chicken farms which are often hampered by traditional methods of hatching chickens, by applying IoT (Internet of Things) Technology as a solution to more modern egg hatching methods using DHT11 sensors and Lcd 16x2 i2c as temperature and humidity monitoring. It shows that DHT1 is able to maintain temperature in the optimal range of 37°C-39°C with an average difference between DHT11 and thermometer of only 0.3°C - 0.4°C, and humidity that remains stable at a difference of 3% - 4%. The results of this study indicate that the DHT11 is accurate enough to measure air temperature in a stable environment.

Abstract

Onion peels (shallots and garlic) can be developed into valuable products. One approach to utilizing onion peels is by processing them into hydrosol, which can be used in liquid soap formulations. The aim of this study is to evaluate the characteristics of liquid soap derived from the hydrosol of onion peel waste. Onion peels was processed into hydrosol by water distillation method. Hydrosol was subjected to phytochemical screening and formulated into liquid soap dosage form. Soap was made into 3 formulas with different concentrations of hydrosol in formulas F1 (5%), F2 (7.5%), and F3 (10%). The liquid soap was evaluated for characteristics including organoleptic test, pH, foam height, viscosity, and antimicrobial activity. The results of the hydrosol phytochemical screening test showed the presence of saponins and alkaloids. The results of the liquid soap organoleptic test showed that F1, F2, and F3 gave a clear color, liquid shape, and aromatic odor. F1 liquid soap pH 6.51, F2 6.44 and F3 6.43; foam height 2.50 cm, 2.10 cm, 2.33 cm; and viscosity F1 316 m.Pa.s, F2 99.99 m.Pa.s and F3 99.99 m.Pa.s. The results of the antimicrobial test of negative control (base), F1, F2, and F3 produced a clear zone. The characteristics of the soap produced provide good organoleptics, pH and foam stability. Hydrosol concentration affects the viscosity produced. Onion peel liquid soap F3 exhibit the highest average diameters of the inhibition zones 10,02±0,49 mm, and is categorized as having strong antimicrobial properties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengklasifikasikan sentimen pengguna terhadap aplikasi Netflix di Google Play Store, mengatasi tantangan volume ulasan dan keragaman bahasa. Analisis sentimen otomatis diperlukan untuk mengekstraksi informasi emosional dari teks ulasan. Sebanyak 20.000 ulasan dikumpulkan menggunakan web scraping. Data kemudian melalui tahap praproses seperti case folding, cleaning, tokenizing, dan stopword removal. Klasifikasi sentimen berbasis leksikon dilakukan dengan menerjemahkan teks Indonesia ke Inggris menggunakan Google Translate, lalu dianalisis VADER Sentiment Intensity Analyzer. Pembobotan kata diterapkan menggunakan TF-IDF untuk menentukan signifikansi kata dalam dokumen. Perbandingan hasil klasifikasi sentimen dilakukan menggunakan algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM) dan Naive Bayes. Hasil menunjukkan SVM mencapai akurasi 82%, presisi 83%, recall 89%, dan skor F1 86%. Naive Bayes menghasilkan akurasi 76%, presisi 74%, recall 94%, dan skor F1 83%. Secara keseluruhan, SVM terbukti lebih unggul dalam memberikan klasifikasi sentimen yang seimbang dan akurat dalam studi ini

Abstract

There were five emergence plants in swampland such as Polygonum barbatum, Neptunia prostrata, Phragmites karka, Ludwigia adscendens and Phragmites communis, which might be used for compost source, all the plants were easily adapted and grew very well on acid soil.  These plants were choosen because of abudancy and size. All plants were identified, collected, chopped and weighted then put in a 50 liters plastic drum for decomposting during 12 weeks. Composts temperature were monitored every week, nutrients content (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na) and compost chemical properties (C-organic, C.E.C., C/N ratio) were analysed every two weeks. Results showed that each compost from different plant varied in nutrients content and chemical properties.  Compost made of Neptunia prostata Lam. contained highest nutrients than others, it’s nutrients were N (4%), P (1675 mg kg-1), K (5.6 %), Ca (0.32 %), Mg (0.32 %) and Na (0.12 %) and the lowest nutrients content showed by compost of Phragmites karka Retz. in which N (2.4 %), P (1160 mg kg-1), K (2.62 %), Ca (0.04 %), Mg (0.07 %), and Na (0.03 %).  It seem broadleaf plants tended to have higher nutrients content than grasses or graminae. Neptunia prostrata compost had a high N content due to it’s leguminosae plant. Al and Fe were low in all composts, therefore all plants were recommended for organic nutrient sources. Abstract

This research aimed to study the influence of phosphate fertilizer and plant growth regulator applications on the growth and yield of ratoon rice grown on swampland. The research was conducted in September 2016 to January 2017 at the greenhouse of Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. Soil characteristics were analyzed in the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility, Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The experiment was arranged in a factorial Completely Randomized Design.  The first factor was the phospate fertilizer dosages, i.e. 150 kg ha-1 (P1), 200 kg ha-1 (P2), 250 kg ha-1 (P3). The second factor was the plant growth regulator treatments, consisting of control (Z0), Cytokinin 20 ppm (Z1), Gibberellin 60 ppm (Z3). The results showed that the application of P fertilizer did not affect the yield and growth of ratoon rice. However, the application of Plant Growth Regulators resulted in a significant effect on the growth and yield of ratoon rice. The application of Plant Growth Regulator of Gibberellin with the dosage of 60 ppm was able to increase the percentage of filled grains (84.93%), decrease the percentage of empty grains (15.07%), increase the weight of 100 grains (3.63 g) and increase the dry weight of  milled grains (7.80 Mg ha-1). It is suggested that the treatment resulted in better plant growth and yield obtained in the current study might be recommended for ratoon cultivation in swampland.

Abstract

Berdasarkan survei di Indonesia, tingkat pengangguran di negara ini tergolong tinggi dan perlu diatasi. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasinya yakni dengan menciptakan sebuah usaha, dimana hal ini secara tidak langsung akan membuka banyak lapangan pekerjaan. Terdapat banyak pihak yang dapat mempelopori berdirinya sebuah usaha, salah satunya mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh unsur kepribadian yakni kreativitas, pendidikan kewirausahaan, dan efikasi diri terhadap niat berwirausaha mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Tarumanagara. Sampel dipilih sebanyak 137 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari jurusan manajemen dan akuntansi. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program SmartPLS4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas, pendidikan kewirausahaan dan efikasi diri memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha mahasiswa/mahasiswi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Tarumanagara. Based on a survey in Indonesia, the unemployment rate in this country is relatively high and needs to be addressed. One way to overcome this is by creating a business, which will indirectly open up many jobs. There are many parties who can pioneer the establishment of a business, one of which is students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to test the influence of personality elements, namely creativity, entrepreneurship education, and self-efficacy on the entrepreneurial intentions of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tarumanagara University. A sample of 137 students was selected consisting of management and accounting majors. Data processing in this study used the SmartPLS4 program. This study showed that creativity, entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy had a positive and significant influence on the entrepreneurial intentions of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tarumanagara University.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan kewirausahaan, efikasi diri, dan locus of control terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Universitas Tarumanagara. Kewirausahaan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian melalui penciptaan lapangan kerja dan pemerataan pendapatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode korelatif, melibatkan 205 mahasiswa aktif yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan kewirausahaan, efikasi diri, dan locus of control berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi literatur kewirausahaan, khususnya dalam memahami faktor-faktor penentu minat berwirausaha. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya pendidikan kewirausahaan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kesiapan generasi muda dalam memulai bisnis. This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy, and locus of control on entrepreneurial intentions among students at Tarumanagara University. Entrepreneurship plays a vital role in enhancing the economy by creating job opportunities and distributing income more equitably. This research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach with a correlational method, involving 205 active students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via online questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS 4 software. The results reveal that entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy, and locus of control have a positive and significant impact on entrepreneurial intentions. These findings contribute to the entrepreneurship literature, particularly in understanding the determinants of entrepreneurial intentions. This study also highlights the importance of entrepreneurship education in fostering motivation and readiness among the younger generation to start businesses.

Abstract

To create accountability to the public, the role or participation of the community is needed to express their aspirations and contributions in the preparation of APBDes planning. The objectives of this research are 1). To analyze the implementation of accountability in village fund management in North Malinau District, Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan Province, 2). To analyze the obstacles in implementing accountability in managing village funds in North Malinau District, Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan Province. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results in this study show that 1). Implementation of Village Fund Management Accountability in North Malinau District, Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan Province based on Accountability for Probity and Legality, Process Accountability, Program Accountability, and Policy Accountability is appropriate, 2). Obstacles to the Implementation of Accountability for Village Fund Management in North Malinau District, Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan Province, namely: Insufficient Human Resources and communication between the Village Government and the Community of Malinau Seberang Village and Kelayang Village is still one way.

Abstract

Dalam putusan pengadilan, pertimbangan hukum menjadi bentuk tanggung jawab hakim atas keputusan yang diambil, sehingga harus dipertimbangkan secara matang. Pasal 197 KUHAP mengharuskan putusan pemidanaan mencantumkan keadaan yang memberatkan dan meringankan terdakwa, karena ketidakhadirannya dapat menyebabkan putusan batal demi hukum. Namun, KUHAP tidak secara rinci menjelaskan faktor-faktor tersebut, sehingga hakim sering merujuk pada Pasal 8 ayat (2) UU No. 48 Tahun 2009 tentang Kekuasaan Kehakiman, yang menyatakan bahwa dalam menentukan berat ringannya pidana, hakim harus mempertimbangkan karakter baik dan buruk terdakwa. Penelitian ini menganalisis landasan filosofis, yuridis, dan sosiologis dalam mempertimbangkan faktor yang memberatkan dan meringankan putusan hakim, serta mengevaluasi relevansi Putusan Nomor 70/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN.Jkt.Pst dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 48 Tahun 2009 tentang Kekuasaan Kehakiman. Landasan filosofis berfungsi sebagai dasar bagi hakim dalam menelaah unsur yang memberatkan maupun meringankan vonis pidana, sedangkan landasan yuridis memastikan pemenuhan unsur materiil pidana sesuai dengan hukum yang berlaku, serta aspek sosiologis mempertimbangkan dampak pidana dan vonis yang diberikan. Tolok ukur pemberat dan peringan hukuman terdakwa yang berperilaku sopan harus didasarkan pada pemenuhan unsur pidana secara materiil, dampak sosial, serta kondisi pelaku, karena perilaku sopan adalah kewajiban setiap individu dan semestinya diatur secara eksplisit dalam peraturan hukum.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the simultaneous influence of human resource competence, the utilization of information technology, and process transparency on public service performance, particularly in the certification of Good Processed Food Production Methods (CPPOB) at the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BBPOM) in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. Responding to increasing public demands for food safety and the complexity of certification services, this research investigates how administrative and technological factors shape institutional performance. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 275 respondents who had accessed CPPOB certification services. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to measure the effect of each independent variable. The findings reveal that all three variables significantly influence public service performance, with human resource competence contributing the most (β = 0.313), followed by information technology (β = 0.152) and process transparency (β = 0.147). The study provides both theoretical and practical implications. Theoretically, it reinforces the discourse of public service delivery based on good governance and public value management. The results highlight the importance of institutional strategies focusing on employee training, digital infrastructure development, and transparent service procedures. These findings contribute to public sector reform efforts in Indonesia, particularly in enhancing responsiveness, efficiency, and accountability in food safety supervision.
