Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi AI dalam praktik pembuatan komik edukasi interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran IPA pada materi air dan lingkungan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September-November 2025 di Sumbawa Besar. Alat dan bahan yaitu laptop/HP dengan akses internet, platform AI, AI teks (untuk cerita dan dialog), AI gambar (untuk ilustrasi komik), Aplikasi penyusun komik/dokumen (Canva, PowerPoint, PDF editor), modul materi IPA: Air dan Lingkungan. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran IPA, yang terlibat secara aktif dalam praktik pembuatan komik edukasi berbasis AI melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, penilaian produk komik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI mampu meningkatkan kualitas media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan, ditinjau dari aspek visual, kebahasaan, dan interaktivitas. Peserta didik menunjukkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar yang tinggi, serta peningkatan pemahaman konsep pada materi air dan lingkungan. Pemanfaatan AI dalam praktik pembuatan komik edukasi interaktif berpotensi menjadi strategi pembelajaran IPA yang efektif dan relevan untuk diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan modern.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan membangun kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan sampah perkotaan berbasis rumah tangga.Kegiatan dilaksanakan di RT 003 RW 009, Desa Labuhan Sumbawa, Kecamatan Labuhan Badas, Kabupaten Sumbawa Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (Prop.NTB) mulai bulan September-Oktober 2019.Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan pengolahan sampah skala rumah tangga.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap dalam memperlakukan sampah, dan mengarah kepada paradigma pengelolaan persampahan yang lebih komprehensif dengan konsep 3R.Perubahan perilaku warga sasaran yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu, remaja telah memperlakukan sampah sebagai barang yang memiliki manfaat ekonomi dengan mengolah sampah rumah tangga menjadi menjadi kompos yang diaplikasikan pada KRPL Pancawarga dan kreativitas warungkopi sampah menuju Sumbawa Zero Waste.

Abstract

The problem of organic waste management in Balikpapan City is increasing, with a total of 193,038 tons/year, 70.3% of which comes from household waste. One solution implemented at Manggar Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Landfill in Balikpapan is the processing of organic waste using maggots (BSF larvae). This study aims to analyze the current conditions, analyze the factors influencing waste processing, and formulate strategies for optimizing the processing facility. The methods used include quantitative and qualitative approaches, as well as best practice analysis as a basis for improvement. The research findings highlight several issues, such as the absence of BSF egg weighing, predator disturbances in the fly cages, biopon systems without drainage channels, and the manual process of separating maggots from casings. Optimization was carried out through the redesign of the BSF fly enclosure, improvement, and addition of 21 biopon units, which can produce 35.7 liters of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and decompose 1,0878 tons of organic waste per cycle, the design of a sieving machine, and the reorganization of the maggot house layout. These efforts are expected to enhance processing efficiency and capacity to 1,0878 tons per cycle, supporting more sustainable and environmentally friendly waste management.

Abstract

The coastal area of Labuhan Sumbawa Village has strategic value for economic development and improving people's welfare, but is very vulnerable to damage due to the use of multifunctional space, so that coastal management is urgently needed that focuses on regional characteristics, by placing three pillars of sustainable development, namely ecology, economy, and social. This study aims to identify problems and models of coastal area management in Labuhan Sumbawa Village, Labuhan Badas District, Sumbawa. The research method used is descriptive research method. Data was collected by means of observation and semi-structured interviews. Accidental sampling technique and qualitative data analysis. The results showed that in the coastal area of the research location, identified: (1) Physical damage to the environment, including: a) Damage to ecosystems (ecosystems, coral reefs, seagrass beds, and beaches); b) Damage to fish resources; c) Pollution; d) Abrasion, sedimentation, and siltation; and d) Natural disasters (floods); (2) Socio-economic problems, including: a) The problem of poverty and the low level of education of the population; b) Limited funds in development; and c) Lack of understanding of the value of coastal area resources; (3) Institutional problems, including: a) The problem of conflict of authority, which can occur due to sectoral development; b) The problem of legal uncertainty. The coastal area management models that can be applied are: (1) traditional management; (2) community-based coastal area resource management; (3) Co-management, and; (4) Ecosystem Based Fisheries Management (EBFM). The conclusion of the study is that damage to coastal areas will have an impact on ecological, economic, and social conditions so that multi-stakeholder involvement is very important in sustainable coastal area management.
