Abstract

The newer generation, particularly Generation Z (Gen Z), has a distinct perspective due to the advancements in digital technology. Currently, a significant number of them are interested in establishing their own enterprises, and a few of them are internationally recognized. The objective of this investigation is to investigate the factors that influence the international entrepreneurial intention of Gen Z in creating international ventures, such as entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial opportunity identification, entrepreneurial motivation, and family support. The survey employed purposive sampling and a quantitative methodology, included 265 Gen Z respondents from Indonesia. The SmartPLS 3.0 results indicated that entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial motivation, and family support each had a significant impact on international entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, entrepreneurial motivation had significant impact on family support. However, entrepreneurial opportunity identification did not have a significant effect on international entrepreneurial intention. These results suggest that the emotional and pedagogical support provided to the younger generation significantly influences their inclinations to pursue international entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study examines the financial behavior of Generation Y and Z in Batam by highlighting the role of psychological factors. Unlike previous research that emphasizes low financial literacy as the primary cause of poor financial behavior, this study explores how locus of control and financial self-efficacy mediate or moderate that relationship. Using a causal research design, snowball sampling technique, and online questionnaires, the findings reveal that both financial literacy and locus of control significantly influence financial behavior, with financial self-efficacyserving as a mediator. These results suggest that financial behavior is shaped not only by financial literacy but also by psychological factors such as self-control. The practical implication is the need for financial education programs that enhance not only knowledge but also psychological skills to support more informed financial decision-making.

The ease of replication by competitors or elsewhere underscores the importance of adapting to change. The analyst distributed self-administered surveys via email to specific sources involved in the development of unused items since October 2023. The methodological design is crucial for this quantitative research, which focuses on a population of manufacturing companies in Batam, Tanggerang, Tangjung Pinang, and other districts. The factual strategies chosen to analyze the theories proposed in this study involve using the Smart PLS and SPSS applications. The findings suggest that: 1) Market Orientation does not affect on New Product Performance. 2) Market Orientation positively influences Absorptive capacity. 3) Technological Knowledge competence positively impacts New Product Performance. 4) Absorptive Capacity has a positive and significant effect on New Product Performance. 5) Technological Knowledge positively affects Absorptive Capability as an intervening variable. Abstract

Company A, engaged in the food and beverage industry, faced challenges in supply chain management due to the inefficient implementation of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems. The increasing market demand necessitated the integration of these technologies to improve operational efficiency, ensure timely availability of raw materials and product distribution while improving overall competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of ERP systems in optimizing operational efficiency through productive integration with SCM, focusing on workflow optimization and data accuracy across the supply chain. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach drawn from secondary sources to understand the relationship between ERP, SCM, and operational performance. The results show that the implementation of ERP and SCM has not been optimized due to lack of training, weak managerial support, and technical constraints such as infrastructure and legacy system integration. This study recommends a comprehensive change management approach, continuous role-based training, and regular system monitoring to reduce downtime. By implementing these strategies, the company can sustainably improve supply chain efficiency and competitiveness.
