Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini membuktikan adakah pengaruh konseling kelompok dengan menggunakan shame attacking exercise terhadap peningkatan keberanian mengungkapkan pendapat siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 5 Taman Pemalang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimetal design. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B dengan jumlah 7 orang. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala psikologi dan menggunakan analisis wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada perubahan keberanian mengungkapkan pendapat pada siswa, sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti konseling kelompok, berubah dari kategori sedang menjadi tinggi. Meskipun pada penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perubahan pada siswa, jika dilihat dari tiap indikatornya, terdapat aspek yang tingkat perubahannya rendah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh konseling kelompok dengan menggunakan shame attacking exercise terhadap peningkatan keberanian mengungkapkan pendapat siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 5 Taman Pemalang. Sehingga untuk penelitian selanjutnya dapat lebih ditingkatkan lagi untuk tiap indikatornya agar didapatkan hasil yang lebih maksimal. The purpose of this study was to prove whether there was an influence of group counseling by using shame attacking exercise to increase the students’ courage in expressing opinion in class VIII B SMP Negeri 5 Taman Pemalang. The type of this research was experimental research with pre-experimental research design. The subject of this research was 7 students of class VIII B. The data collection instrument used were psychological scale and wilcoxon test analysis. The result of the research showed that there was a change of the students’ courage in expressing opinion in before and after the group counseling, changed from moderate to high category. Although this research showed there was a change from the students, if it was seen from each its indicator, there was an aspect that had low changing level. It can be concluded that there was an influence of group counseling by using shame attacking exercise to increase the students’ courage in expressing opinion in class VIII B SMP Negeri 5 Taman Pemalang. Thus, the next research can be improved so each its indicator can get more maximal result.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara optimisme dan kontrol diri dengan coping stress terhadap tuntutan akademik pada mahasiswa S1 bimbingan dan konseling UNNES. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto dengan sampel berjumlah 157 dari populasi 288 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel proportionate stratifed random sampling. Skala coping stress diadaptasi dari COPE, skala optimisme diadaptasi dari LOT-R, dan skala kontrol diri diadapatasi dari SCS, skala tersebut digu nakan dalam pengumpulan data dengan reliabilitas 0,940, 0,769, dan 0,937. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa antara optimisme dengan coping stress memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (R=0,529, f(1,155) = 60,101, p = <0,01), kemudian hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan coping stress juga memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (R=0,366, f(5,150) = 78,544, p = <0,01). Begitu pula antara optimisme dan kontrol diri dengan coping stress juga memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (R=0,892, f(2,155) = 298,581, p = <0,01). Thia research aims to know the relationship between optimism and self control with respect to coping stress academic coping stress in undergraduate student guidance and counseling UNNES. This research is an ex postfacto research with a sample of 157 of the population amounted to 288 students with technique of sampling proportionate stratified random sampling. The scale of coping stress in the adaption of the COPE, the scale of optimism in the adaption of the LOT-R, and the scale of self control in the adaption SCS, the scale used in the collection of data with reliability 0,940, 0,769 and 0,937. As for the analysis techniques using double regression. Results of the study showed that between optimism coping stress have a significant relationship (R= 0,529 f(1,555)= 60,101, p =<0,01) then the relationship between coping stress with self control also has a significant relationship (R= 0,366, f(5,150) = 78,544, p=<0,01). Similarly, between optimism and self control with coping stress also has a significant relationship (R= 0,892, f(2,155)= 289,581, p=<0,01).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan minat dan efikasi diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP N 3 Ungaran baik secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 172 dari populasi 342 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Adapun teknik analisis data dengan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara minat dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mata pelajaran matematika memiliki hubungan signifikan (R=0,019; F(1,1667)=19,286; p=<0,05). Kemudian antara efikasi diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mata pelajaran matematika memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (R = 0,837, F(3,168) = 131,458, p = <0,05). Begitu pula antara minat dan efikasi diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mata pelajaran matematika memiliki hubungan yang signifikan( R = 0,843, F(2,169) = 207,854, p = <0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian guru Bimbingan dan Konseling disarankan memberikan layanan BK untuk menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik melalui pengembangan minat dan efikasi diri. Kata Kunci : efikasi diri; minat; prokrastinasi akademik Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship of interest and self efficacy with academic procrastination on the subject of mathematic students of class VIII SMP N 3 Ungaran either partially or altogether. This research uses correlational quantitative design. The sample used amounted to 172 of the population of 342 students with a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis techniques with multiple regression. The results showed that between interest and academic procrastination on mathematic subjects had significant relation (R = 0,019; F (1,1667) = 19,286; p = <0,05). Then, between self efficacy and academic procrastination on mathematic subjects have a significant relationship (R = 0,837, F (3,168) = 131,458, p = <0,05). Similarly, between interest and self efficacy with academic procrastination on mathematic subjects has a significant relationship (R = 0.843, F (2.169) = 207,854, p = <0.05). Based on the results of research Guidance and Counseling teachers are advised to provide Guidance and Counseling services to decrease academic procrastination on the subject of mathematic through the developmentof interest and self efficacy. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan keefektifan layanan penguasaan konten dengan topik self-regulated learning untuk menurunkan tingkat prokrastinasi akademik siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test dan post-test. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi siswa kelas X Is 3(N= 38 orang siswa). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik siswa dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif serta uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat prokrastinasi akademik siswa menurun secara signifikan melalui layanan penguasaan konten dengan menggunakan topic self- regulated learning (0,00<0,01) yang jika disimpulkan self-regulated learning efektif untuk menurunkan prokrastinasi melalui layanan penguasaan konten. The purpose of this study is to prove the effectiveness of content mastery services with independent learning topics to lower the level of student academic procrastination. Type of research used is experiment with design one group pre-test and post-test. The subjects of this study are the entire population of students class X is 3 (N = 38 students). The research data used students' academic procrastination scales and analyzed using quantitative descriptive and t-test. The results showed that the level of academic procrastination decreased significantly through content mastery service using self-learning (0.00 <0.01) if be concluded if self-regulated learning is effective to down procrastination by using content mastery service.

Abstract

One of the measures to accommodate the learning needs of slow learner students is as a form of support for the inclusion paradigm in schools. Learning that is attempted by the teacher is an effort to condition slow learner students according to their learning needs. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy counseling to increase the Self Esteem of Slow Learner Children in Inclusion Schools SMP Negeri 15 Cirebon. . To achieve such objective, the study used single subject design with the pattern of multiple baseline across individuals done in eleven sessions of observation, namely 3 baseline A1 sessions, 5 times intervention session, and 3 baseline A2 sessions. For more, the subjects of this study were two indicated experiencing self esteem. In this state, behavior target was reduced from self esteem behavior. Meanwhile, the data of the observed subjects were collected thorough direct observation method with Goal Attainment Scale guides. Further, visual graph analyses were carried out to look for mean, the degree of level of performance, rapidity behavior change, the trend of performance, stability levels, and overlap data which were then followed by T score and z score calculations. The results showed that Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy counseling was able to increase self esteem. For further research, you can use a reversal design pattern so that it can be seen about the comparison of the two baseline conditions before and after the intervention so that the effect of consistent behavior change in the intervention phase can be revealed more deeply

Abstract

Cheating behavior grows from a tolerant attitude towards cheating and low self-efficacy. This research was conducted to test the effectiveness of group counseling with congnitive restructuring techniques to reduce students' attitudes towards cheating and increase the self-efficacy of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta. The experimental method used was randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design, involving 14 students as research subjects who were selected purposively from a total of 123 students in class XI. There are two instruments used, namely Attitude Toward Cheating (ATC) for the attitude scale towards cheating and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) for the self-efficacy scale. The results of this study indicate that cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce attitudes towards cheating and increase student self-efficacy seen from the effectiveness level of cognitive restructuring techniques show that the results are significant. This study confirms the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce the tendency to cheat by reducing cheating attitudes and increasing self-efficacy.

Abstract

Life satisfaction refers to one’s assessment of life in general. Low life satisfaction leads to negative impacts to a person’s mental health condition. This study identified and analyzed the relationship between the future time perspective and life satisfaction through hope in 567 state high school students in Semarang City. Data were collected using the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS), Synder Hope Scale (SHS) and Future Time Perspective Scale (FTPS). The results of the analysis showed that hope fully mediated the relationship between future time perspective and students’ life satisfaction. This study found that students with good future perspective were satisfied with life because they were able to make route in achieving their goals. The results of this study can be used as insights in counseling intervention and for further research.

Abstract

Student engagement in learning is essential in creating active, creative, and fun learning. Unfortunately, not all students are engaged cognitively, emotionally, and behaviorally in learning. This study intends to prove that self-esteem can mediate the relationship between mindfulness and student engagement. This correlational study involved 469 students from four Senior/Vocational High schools in East Lampung Regency. The result of this study revealed that mindfulness predicts higher self-esteem. Mindfulness predicts student engagement. Self-esteem predicts student engagement. Mindfulness also increases student engagement through increased self-esteem. The implications of this study suggest the importance of appreciating student’s mental state and performance in the learning process.

Abstract

Career adaptability is an individual’s readiness which develops over time from the age of children, adolescents, to adults and functions to overcome predictable tasks and participate directly in the work environment and roles. Low adaptability of careers can cause individuals to have difficulty in preparing for their future careers. This study aimed to determine whether career decision self-efficacy (CDSE) group counseling effectively improves students’ career adaptability. It was an experimental study that used a randomized pretest-posttest control group design by selecting 18 of 360 students as the subjects of this study and dividing them into 2 groups, namely experimental and control groups. In analyzing the data, this study used Mixed MANOVA. Findings confirmed that career decision self-efficacy group counseling was effective in improving students’ career adaptability (F (1.16) = 1401.74, p < 0.01. This effectiveness could also be seen in the effect of time (F (2,32) = 462.18, p < 0.01), and the effect of the interaction between time and group (F (2,32) = 443.38, p < 0.01). Finally, the current study confirms that to improve students’ career adaptability, counselors or guidance and counseling teachers can apply CDSE to group counseling services.

Abstract

Schools play an important role in shaping and developing the potentials of students, in developing the potentials of students, it is necessary to create an attractive, safe, comfortable, and conducive school climate so that learning objectives are achieved, but unfortunately the rampant behaviour of bullying causes the classroom climate to be unsatisfactory. conducive and cause problems. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) counselling to reduce bullying behaviour in students of SMP Negeri 2 Angsana. This study used the Single-Subject Design (SSD) method with multiple baseline cross-variable patterns conducted in 11 observation sessions consisting of 3 baseline A1 sessions, 6 intervention sessions and 3 baseline A2 sessions. In conducting observations, researchers used the Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) instrument and analyzed using visual charts.
