Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to strengthen students’ understanding of religious moderation, foster tolerance and inclusivity, and reinforce national commitment through character education at State Senior High School 2 Tuban. The program was motivated by the increasing signs of intolerance among students and the urgent need to promote pluralism and harmony in educational settings. The activity employed an educative-participatory approach, combining seminars, interactive discussions, reflective sessions, and interfaith simulations involving students from diverse religious backgrounds. Data were collected through participatory observation, reflective questionnaires, and documentation. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of religious moderation, from perceiving it merely as tolerance to recognizing it as a framework of justice, balance, social responsibility, and anti-extremism. Students also demonstrated greater openness, empathy, and respect toward religious differences in their daily interactions. Furthermore, the program strengthened students’ national commitment by instilling the awareness that loving the homeland and maintaining social harmony are integral expressions of religious practice. Overall, this Community Service Program activity demonstrated that experience-based, participatory learning effectively internalizes the values of religious moderation. It is recommended that similar programs be sustained and integrated into school curricula to cultivate tolerant, inclusive, and nationally minded students.

Abstract

Bilik Pintar merupakan sebuah tempat yang menginspirasi karena meskipun mayoritas masyarakatnya adalah pemulung, mereka semangat untuk belajar. Salah satu keterbatasan di Bilik Pintar adalah kurangnya relawan pengajar khususnya yang berkaitan dengan ilmu agama Islam. Permasalahan tersebut dapat ditangani dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran ilmu agama secara gratis dengan metode belajar sambil bermain untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya. Kegitan ini diikuti 25 peserta dari perwakilan anak-anak Bilik Pintar usia 6-12 tahun. Secara khusus, kegiatan ini terdiri atas pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kosa kata Bahasa Arab pada anak-anak. Hasil kegiatan ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan kemampuan anak-anak dalam Bahasa Arab yang ditandai dengan kemampuan mereka dalam memperkenalkan diri menggunakan Baha Arab di akhir kegiatan. Di samping itu, kegiatan membaca Al-Qur’an dengan metode Iqra juga menjadi salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan, dan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan anak-anak dalam membaca Al-Qur’an dengan makharijul huruf dan tajwid yang baik. Selain itu, anak-anak juga dipaparkan informasi terkait kisah nabi, khususnya kisah nabi Yunus AS yang disampaikan melalui metode video (audio-visual). Selain disukai oleh anak-anak, metode ini juga dapat memudahkan anak-anak untuk memahami isi atau makna video tersebut. Selanjutnya, kegiatan ini dapat dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan berbagai ilmu selain ilmu agama sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari masyarakat.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology, especially the internet, has driven significant changes in the world of education, including in higher education. One form of its application is the use of a Moodle-based e-learning system as a means of supporting the learning process. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Moodle-based e-learning in improving the effectiveness of learning activities at AMIK Stikom Tunas Bangsa Siantar, and compare it with conventional learning methods. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative, involving 43 third-semester students in the Computer Architecture and Organization course. Data collection techniques include interviews, open and closed questionnaires, observation, documentation, and tests to measure learning outcomes. The research process is carried out in three stages, namely the preparation stage (preparation of RPS and Moodle-based modules), the implementation stage (implementation of synchronous and asynchronous learning), and the reporting stage (analysis of results and preparation of scientific articles). The research results show that implementing Moodle-based e-learning offers several advantages over conventional methods, such as increased interaction between lecturers and students, flexibility in learning time and location, ease of access to materials, and ease of online learning evaluation. Furthermore, e-learning also encourages lecturers to be more creative in developing digital teaching materials and improving their skills in utilizing educational technology. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementing Moodle-based e-learning can improve the quality of the learning process in higher education. The success of its implementation depends not only on the readiness of software, hardware, and internet networks, but also on the lecturers' competence in effectively managing digital learning systems.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menganalisis makrostruktur dan mikrostruktur dari tiga kamus pelajar ekabahasa, yaitu Kamus Bahasa Indonesia untuk Pelajar, Cambridge School Dictionary, dan Mu’Jam Al-Muḥiid. Efektivitas kamus tidak hanya ditentukan oleh entri leksikal, tetapi juga kejelasan dan kelengkapan desain strukturnya. Makrostruktur mencakup organisasi keseluruhan entri, seperti urutan alfabetis, sistem pengindeksan, jenis lema, dan unsur lainnya. Sementara itu, mikrostruktur meliputi informasi detail setiap entri, seperti pelafalan, kelas kata, definisi, contoh kalimat, etimologi, sinonim, antonim, dan label gaya bahasa. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi persamaan dan perbedaan struktur kamus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Cambridge School Dictionary memiliki fitur makro dan mikro yang sistematis dan komprehensif sehingga efektif untuk pembelajar bahasa Inggris. Kamus Bahasa Indonesia untuk Pelajar cukup membantu, namun terbatas ketiadaan sinonim dan antonim. Mu’Jam Al-Muḥiid sebagai kamus klasik bahasa Arab unggul kedalaman makna dan kekayaan etimologi, tetapi belum memiliki fitur modern yang ramah pengguna, seperti label sosial dan contoh penggunaan kontekstual.   ABSTRACT This study analyzes the macrostructure and microstructure of three monolingual student dictionaries: the Indonesian Dictionary for Students, the Cambridge School Dictionary, and Mu’Jam Al-Muḥiid. The effectiveness of a dictionary is determined not only by its lexical entries but also by the clarity and completeness of its structural design. Macrostructure encompasses the overall organization of entries, such as alphabetical order, indexing system, types of entries, and other elements. Meanwhile, microstructure encompasses detailed information about each entry, such as pronunciation, word class, definition, example sentences, etymology, synonyms, antonyms, and stylistic labels. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study identifies similarities and differences in dictionary structure. The results show that the Cambridge School Dictionary has systematic and comprehensive macro and micro features, making it effective for English learners. The Indonesian Dictionary for Students is quite helpful, but is limited by the lack of synonyms and antonyms. Mu’Jam Al-Muḥiid, as a classical Arabic dictionary, excels in its depth of meaning and richness of etymology, but lacks modern, user-friendly features, such as social labels and contextual usage examples.

Abstract

Oyster mushrooms are one of the leading export commodities in Madiun Regency, particularly in Kare Village. The region's cool and fertile environment offers significant potential for mushroom cultivation, providing a source of income and business opportunities for the community. However, the baglog mixing process is still carried out manually. This community partnership empowerment program was designed to enhance the production capacity of farmer groups by applying an automation-based mixer machine to accelerate the baglog preparation process. The program consisted of several stages, including socialization, training in technology utilization, machine implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and planning for program sustainability. The implementation results showed that the mixing time was reduced from 2.5 hours to approximately 1 hour for 300 kg of materials. Production capacity increased significantly from an average of 95 to 190 baglogs per day. The improvements in time efficiency, reduction of manual labor, and enhanced homogeneity of materials demonstrate that this program has provided a tangible impact in increasing the productivity and sustainability of oyster mushroom farmer groups in Kare VillageABSTRAKJamur tiram merupakan salah satu komoditas ekspor unggulan di Kabupaten Madiun, khususnya di Desa Kare. Kondisi wilayah yang sejuk dan subur menjadikan desa ini memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan budidaya jamur tiram sebagai sumber pendapatan dan peluang usaha masyarakat. Namun, proses pencampuran bahan baglog masih dilakukan secara konvensional. Program Pemberdayaan Kemitraan Masyarakat ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mitra dalam aspek produksi melalui penerapan mixer machine berbasis otomasi guna mempercepat proses pembuatan baglog. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan penggunaan teknologi, implementasi mesin, evaluasi dan pendampingan, serta perencanaan keberlanjutan program. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa waktu pencampuran dapat dipangkas dari 2,5 jam menjadi sekitar 1 jam untuk kapasitas 300 kg bahan. Sedangkan kapasitas produksi meningkat signifikan dari rata-rata 95 baglog per hari menjadi 190 baglog per hari. Efisiensi waktu, pengurangan beban tenaga kerja, serta peningkatan homogenitas bahan menunjukkan bahwa program ini memberikan dampak nyata terhadap peningkatan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usaha kelompok tani jamur tiram di Desa Kare

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran ekonomi digital dalam memperluas akses pasar internasional bagi produk halal global. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui kajian literatur dari berbagai jurnal nasional, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ekonomi digital memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap penguatan industri halal di Indonesia. Pemanfaatan e-commerce, marketplace halal, sertifikasi halal digital, dan pembangunan Global Halal Hub mempercepat ekspansi produk halal di pasar internasional. Digitalisasi juga meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi, memperkuat branding, dan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk halal. Namun, tantangan masih muncul dari sisi literasi digital, kesiapan infrastruktur, dan regulasi. Oleh karena itu, sinergi antara pemerintah, pelaku usaha, dan sektor teknologi menjadi kunci untuk memperkuat posisi Indonesia sebagai pusat industri halal dunia.

Abstract

This study investigates the forms and functions of code-switching and code-mixing found in Maher Zain’s songs Ramadan and Eidun Saeed, which combine English and Arabic as part of a global religious musical expression. The research aims to identify and classify types of code-switching based on Poplack’s framework and types of code-mixing according to Muysken’s typology, and to understand the sociolinguistic motivations behind their use. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the data were collected through a close Reading of the official song lyrics available on digital music platforms. The analysis reveals that inter-sentential switching is the most dominant form in both songs, particularly noticeable in the transition between English verses and Arabic choruses. Code-mixing primarily takes the form of insertion, with Arabic lexical items embedded in English sentence structures to maintain religious authenticity and evoke spiritual nuance. The findings indicate that the multilingual style in these songs is not merely decorative but serves important communicative, aesthetic, and cultural purposes. Overall, this study concludes that Maher Zain’s use of language alternation functions as a strategy to strengthen religious meaning and connect diverse listeners across linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of the concept of mahabbah towards the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the poem Ṣallū ‘Alā Khayri Al-Bariyyati Khayman by Ibn al-Jinān using Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic theory. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on the relationship between signs and signifiers in the formation of spiritual meanings related to mahabbah. The text of the poem Ṣallū ‘Alā Khayri Al-Bariyyati Khayman, obtained from the source of the madh nabawi poetry manuscript, is the primary source of research. Books, scientific journals, and articles discussing mahabbah and Saussure’s semiotics are used as supporting sources. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation studies, namely by collecting, recording, and grouping linguistic signs in the poem text. Based on the research findings, this poem displays various expressions of mahabbah, such as adoration, longing, hope for intercession, and recognition of the glory and virtue of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The system of signs, formed through word choice and stanza structure, shows how the meaning of mahabbah emerges through a systematic relationship between signs that complement each other. This study concludes that the poem is not only an expression of art, but also a medium of da’wah that strengthens love and respect for the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

Accounting Information System (AIS) plays an important role in dealing with technological advances, especially in the education sector. At SMK Negeri 4 Serang City, there are still many students who do not understand the concept of AIS. Therefore, this community service program aims to improve students' understanding of AIS, so that they are able to prepare financial reports appropriately and accurately. This activity uses a simple method, namely the presentation of material directly to students through discussions and question and answer sessions. With this approach, it is expected that students can understand the concept of AIS and apply it in academic activities and daily life. In addition, students are also expected to be better prepared to face challenges in the world of work, especially in the field of accounting and finance. This program also provides an opportunity for schools to establish cooperation with industries or companies, in order to provide students with broader experience and knowledge about AIS.

Abstract

Technological advancement and increasing cultural diversity lead to misunderstandings in communication. Therefore, individuals need to understand impoliteness strategies to prevent misunderstandings and by understanding impoliteness strategies to increase success in communication. This phenomenon is reflected in the American talent show, America's Got Talent, which illustrates how the judges' utterances are acts of impoliteness. This study examines the types of impoliteness strategies contained in the judges' utterances on America's Got Talent in 2023 using culpeper's theory. In addition, this study also analyzes the functions of these impoliteness strategies based on Culpeper's (2011) theory, focusing on what functions the judges use the impoliteness in the show. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method that aims to analyze examples of impoliteness strategies used in the judges' utterances. In this study, researchers found all types of impoliteness strategies by Culpeper's theory other than the Withhold politeness type. In addition, the researchers also found all the functions of impoliteness used by the judges on America's Got Talent.
