Abstract

In the digital era, the need for effective and efficient information systems has become increasingly important to support business operations. This study aims to design and develop a web-based cashier information system for Toko Jaya Putra 04 using the Waterfall method. The system is designed to address challenges in manual transactions, such as long queues, recording errors, and lack of stock visibility. The research stages include requirements analysis, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), implementation with PHP programming language and MySQL database, testing using the Black Box Testing method, and system maintenance. The results show that this cashier information system can improve transaction process efficiency, reduce customer waiting times, and simplify stock management and financial reporting. This system is expected to be further developed with additional features, such as digital payment integration, customer loyalty programs, and enhanced data security. Abstract

In the context of a pluralistic urban society, religious practices in public spaces often give rise to social dynamics between religious expression and shared comfort. This study examines public perceptions of the use of loudspeakers at the Great Mosque of the Surakarta Palace (Masjid Agung Kraton Surakarta) as part of Islamic preaching practices within a pluralistic public sphere. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with individuals residing in the vicinity of the mosque. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal a diversity of perceptions influenced by respondents’ socio-religious backgrounds. The religious-conservative group views the loudspeaker as an indispensable tool for Islamic proselytization (da'wah). The moderate-pragmatic group adopts an adaptive and tolerant stance, provided that the practice does not disrupt socio-economic activities. Meanwhile, the critical-reflective group advocates for regulated use of loudspeakers to preserve collective comfort. Within the framework of Talcott Parsons’ structural functionalism, these religious practices reflect the four functional imperatives of the AGIL scheme: adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latency. Nevertheless, potential dysfunctions may arise when symbolic religious expressions are not aligned with the heterogeneous social context. These findings underscore the necessity of fostering social dialogue and adopting moderate policies to maintain intercommunal harmony in urban-plural societies.

Abstract

This study examines how inclusion in houses of worship shapes self-concept and psychosocial support among people with disabilities in Bandung, while also identifying accessibility barriers and the role of disability organizations. Using a qualitative design with purposive sampling, the study engaged people with disabilities, religious leaders, community members, and disability advocates, and conducted observations across 32 mosques. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document review, then analyzed using thematic coding. The findings indicate that religious experiences can foster self-acceptance and a more positive self-concept, and provide meaningful emotional and psychological support through gratitude, hope, and community reinforcement. Nevertheless, religious participation remains constrained by inadequate physical accessibility, communication barriers (especially the need for sign language), limited access to inclusive religious education (e.g., braille or tailored assistance), and social isolation intertwined with economic constraints such as transportation costs. The study also reveals that religion is not always the primary driver of change; rather, it often functions as a form of metamotivation after basic needs are met, while group solidarity more frequently emerges from shared disability experiences and organizational support. The study implies the need to strengthen accessibility standards in houses of worship, expand sign-language services and braille/disability-friendly materials, and enhance collaboration between local government, religious institutions, and disability organizations to create safe, equitable, and psychosocially supportive worship environments. The originality of this research lies in linking worship-place inclusion, religious metamotivation, and psychosocial support within an urban Bandung setting through multi-site observation.

Penyakit jantung coroner (PJK) menyumbang 36% kematian global. Abstract

This paper discussed the motives of wearing niqab among Muslim women. Most of Muslim women wear niqab because of religious motives. However, the development of niqab recently brings up a variety of colours and models. This diversity indicates different motives among Muslim women in wearing niqab. Surveying IAIN Surakarta’s students who wear niqab, this research elaborated the relationship between their motives of wearing niqab and their understanding of Islamic teaching about niqab. The research found that even though the main motive to wear niqab is to observe religious teaching, IAIN Surakarta’s students who wear niqab also consider the practice for safety reasons. They also realize that wearing niqab is not an obligation in Islam and follow schools which consider it as preferable (sunah).

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Green Credit and Credit Risk on Firm Value with Profitability as a mediating variable in 11 IKBI member banks during the 2019–2024 period (66 observations). The research employs panel data regression, path analysis, and the Sobel test to evaluate mediation. The results indicate that green credit has a positive and significant effect on profitability, while credit risk has a negative and significant effect on profitability. However, neither variable has a significant effect on firm value. Profitability is found to have a positive and significant influence on firm value and is able to mediate the effect of credit risk on firm value, but not the effect of green credit. These findings highlight the crucial role of profitability in shaping investor perceptions and enhancing firm value. Keywords: Green Credit; Credit Risk; Profitability; Firm’s Value; IKBI

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the tradition of Javanese-language Qur’anic exegesis within the context of Islam’s development in Java, with particular attention to the interaction between Qur’anic teachings and local culture. The study positions Javanese Qur’anic tafsir not only as a reflection of Islamization as a cultural process, but also as an intellectual process that records an ongoing dialogue between religious texts and the socio-cultural realities of Javanese society. Employing a qualitative approach through textual analysis, this research examines Tafsīr Tāj al-Muslimīn min Kalām Rabb al-‘Ālamīn by Misbah Mustafa. The analysis focuses on how the tafsir accommodates local practices such as kondangan, grave visitation, and the offering of prayers for ancestors, as well as on the use of the Javanese language and the pégon script as media for Qur’anic interpretation. The findings demonstrate that Tafsīr Tāj al-Muslimīn represents an acculturative approach to Qur’anic interpretation, integrating Islamic teachings in a dialogical manner with local traditions without compromising the religion’s fundamental principles. Within this framework, the tafsir portrays Islam not as a force that eradicates local culture, but as a normative system that guides, harmonizes, and enriches local traditions through higher Qur’anic spiritual values. These findings affirm that Javanese Qur’anic exegesis constitutes a living intellectual tradition that plays a significant role in shaping a harmonious and contextually grounded form of religiosity in Java.
