Abstract

The role of corporations in applying sustainable principles cannot be separated from the commitment of corporations in carrying out social and environmental responsibility or corporate social responsibility (CSR). In practice, corporations must also have clear CSR commitments. However, the implementation of CSR in Indonesia has not been optimally carried out by corporations from a sustainable development perspective. Corporate Social Responsibility is still considered an obligation, it has not become a good character inherent in the corporation. This paper will discuss about the optimization of CSR in Indonesia by analyzing the normative legal measures that can be taken against the CSR legislation seen from the prospects and challenges that Indonesia has. The approach method used in this study is a normative juridical approach with descriptive analytical research specifications and analyzed by qualitative normative methods. The problem in managing CSR in Indonesia is that the concept of CSR is not aligned with sustainable principles. From this, an understanding can be drawn that basically the optimization that is felt to be the most appropriate when viewed from the existing gaps in CSR regulation is the making of pentahelix policies that involve the government, society, non-governmental organizations, academics, and the media.

Abstract

Adventure game simulations can have several positive impacts on mathematics learning in schools. They can increase student motivation, develop problem-solving skills, provide hands-on learning experiences, encourage collaboration, and offer immediate feedback. By incorporating adventure game simulations into mathematics education lessons, educators can create engaging and effective learning environments that foster deeper understanding and appreciation of mathematics among students. This research designs an animated simulation game for mathematics subjects in the introduction of fractions, speed and discharge, and scale. This game has an agricultural and livestock theme, where each player will play through 3 stages starting from planting or maintenance animations, cooking, and finally selling. Games built on a desktop basis for use by teachers. This research method uses an educational game design model which focuses on three components, namely game design, pedagogy and learning content. The results of testing the use of mathematics games with students in class received a positive response from the questionnaire data given to 20 grade 5 students with a total of 12 questions. Evaluation of the use of the game uses the heuristic game principle by calculating an average score of 4.2 so it can be concluded that this mathematics simulation game for grade 5 elementary school is suitable for use.

Abstract

In Indonesia, banana plants are known to have high genetic diversity, both cultivated and wild bananas. Banana plants are naturally known to have several levels of ploidy, namely diploid, triploid, and tetraploid. This study aims to identify the level of ploidy in banana plants explored in Central Java. The research method used flow cytometer, which analyzes the size of the plant genome, thus providing an overview of the level of ploidy and genetic diversity in banana plant populations. The research samples were banana plant leaves from various exploration locations in Central Java. The identification results show that of the 30 banana plant leaf samples that were successfully analyzed, it is known that the largest number of samples from banana plants that have triploid ploidy level (2n = 3x), namely 15 numbers, diploid ploidy level (2n = 2x) as many as 14 numbers, and found 1 cultivated banana with tetraploid ploidy level (2n = 4x). The results of ploidy level identification can provide guidance for researchers and plant breeders in selecting the right genotype for the development of superior varieties.

Abstract

Radical innovation is a breakthrough change in the overall pattern of the old system, as a form of implementing new ideas to achieve a competitive advantage. Radical innovation is a solution to escape from external environmental pressures in the form of competition, deregulation in the industry, scarcity of resources, and higher customer demands. This study builds a conceptual model from an Islamic point of view: the value of maslahah in all cases provides benefits or goodness from radical innovation. Maslahah means the good rewards promised by God in this world and the hereafter, thus maslahah implies the benefits of this world and the hereafter, which encourages people to always think and produce new things that are beneficial.

Abstract

Challenges associated with social media use, such as distractions and reduced focus on academic activities, can negatively impact students’ task performance. This research aimed to analyze the impact of social media addiction, work technology conflicts, and demographic variables (gender and age) on Islamic students’ task performance. The research used a quantitative and cross-sectional design approach involving 184 Islamic students. Data were collected using validated scales such as Task Performance, Social Media Addiction, and Work-Technology Conflict scales. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression and confirmatory factor analysis. The results showed that social media addiction and demographic variables did not significantly impacted students’ task performance. However, work-technology conflict has a significant negative effect on task performance. Work-technology conflict levels were associated with a decrease in student task performance. In addition, the analysis showed that the proportion of social media addiction variables, work-technology conflict, gender, and age together influencing task performance was 11.8%, with the remaining 88.2% influenced by other variables outside the research. This showed that students who experienced difficulty in managing the use of technology for academic activities may experience a decrease in productivity. Therefore, educational institutions or campuses can develop programs or strategies to help students manage work-technology conflicts, for example by providing education about time management and techniques for efficient use of technology so as not to interfere with academic focus. With these implications, it is hoped that the research results can be a basis for universities or other educational institutions in designing programs and policies that support the optimization of student academic achievement, especially in facing the challenges of technology and social media. By understanding washatiyah, Islamic students can use social media wisely without becoming addicted, which could negatively impact their task performance

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of crowdfunding as an alternative financing option in Indonesia’s creative economy sector, highlighting its significant positive impact on sector growth. Crowdfunding provides broader access to capital for small and medium enterprises, enhances community engagement, and fosters innovation and product diversification. Through crowdfunding platforms, entrepreneurs can build a strong support community and introduce their creative ideas to a wider audience. Despite these benefits, the mechanism faces challenges, including a lack of understanding about crowdfunding, high competition, and regulatory uncertainty. Additionally, issues of transparency, uncertainty in achieving funding targets, as well as technological and psychological challenges must also be addressed. To maximize the benefits of crowdfunding, entrepreneurs are advised to prioritize transparency and prepare sustainability plans post-funding. Support in the form of education, training, and strengthened regulations is crucial to creating an inclusive and sustainable creative economy ecosystem. By overcoming these challenges, crowdfunding has the potential to be an effective tool for promoting innovation and growth in Indonesia’s creative economy sector, while empowering communities to actively contribute to value creation
