Abstract

This paper explores the feasibility of implementing the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach in the Indonesian education system, focusing on four key dimensions: the education system, student assessment, teacher readiness, and parental perspectives. The qualitative approarced was used to conduct thematic analysis in the form of desk research and it will be employed to categorize the information into themes, focusing on education system, students, teachers, and parents’ aspects as dimensions of feasibility. The implementation of CLIL approach has already spread over the world in the past two decades which begins with movement of European Commission Policy. The Longitudinal research has been conducted to give a new insight regarding CLIL implementation. However, previous research scope is limited only for higher education. Having discuss four considerations that have to take into account, it can be therefore concluded that CLIL can be implemented in Senior high school level in Indonesia. The most pivotal factor is institutional support from government in which regulation regarding education goal can be arranged. In addition, the availability of prospective teacher is beneficial for sustain implementation, although they need pre-sessional and in-sessional training before teaching process. The other reason is that student would be free of national examination pressure so that they would be able to focus on sharping language skill in gaining communicative competence rather than mastering grammar. Absolutely, this condition provides a promising opportunities to apply CLIL approach and Task- based learning which aims to build communicative competence. However, it is still necessary to carry out longitudinal research in different context and level of students to unveil robustness and drawbacks of this approach.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of environmentally oriented Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching materials in fostering ecological literacy among students at State Junior High School 32 in Tangerang City. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that integrating Islamic environmental values into PAI materials positively influences students' understanding, awareness, and behavior toward ecological issues. Teachers actively apply innovative project-based learning methods focusing on environmental topics such as waste management and school greening. Additionally, parental and community involvement play a crucial role in supporting students' ecological literacy development. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited environmental resources and infrastructure in schools. The study recommends strengthening the curriculum, enhancing teacher training, and fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration to reinforce environmentally conscious education.

Abstract

This report presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of a Time Management Training program tailored for undergraduate students. The training aimed to equip students with practical strategies to effectively manage their academic and personal responsibilities. Utilizing a combination of interactive activities, self-assessment tools, and real-life case studies, the program provided participants with opportunities to identify personal time management challenges, develop actionable skills, and engage in reflective goal setting. Results indicate significant improvements in students’ self-awareness, problem-solving abilities, and motivation to adopt effective time management habits. Group discussions and peer learning fostered a supportive community, while experiential exercises bridged the gap between theory and practice. The findings highlight the importance of integrating time management training into student development initiatives, as such interventions can enhance academic performance, reduce stress, and prepare students for future success. Recommendations for sustaining these benefits include ongoing support and the incorporation of time management modules into broader university programs.

Abstract

Permasalahan rendahnya kompetensi bahasa Inggris akademik di kalangan dosen, khususnya pada aspek yang diukur melalui tes berstandar internasional seperti IELTS, masih menjadi tantangan di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM). Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris dosen melalui pelatihan IELTS selama 20 pertemuan dengan pendekatan berbasis level (intermediate dan advance). Metode pelatihan meliputi placement test, pembelajaran diferensiatif sesuai level, latihan intensif, simulasi ujian, serta evaluasi berjenjang melalui post-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor pada seluruh keterampilan, terutama pada listening dan speaking. Pengelompokan kelas terbukti efektif dalam memfasilitasi kebutuhan belajar yang berbeda-beda. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris dosen dan dapat direplikasi sebagai model pengembangan berkelanjutan di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kritik terhadap proses sekularisasi dalam sistem pendidikan melalui analisis filsafat pendidikan Islam menurut perspektif Fazlur Rahman. Menggunakan metode analisis filsafat, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pemikiran Rahman tentang integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dan rasional dalam pendidikan. Rahman memandang dikotomi antara pendidikan sekuler dan agama sebagai problem epistemologis yang menghambat pengembangan manusia holistik. Penelitian ini menganalisis konsep tawhid sebagai fondasi epistemologi pendidikan Islam yang menolak pemisahan antara ilmu pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai spiritual. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Rahman menawarkan paradigma pendidikan integratif yang mengatasi fragmentasi pengetahuan akibat sekularisasi. Pendidikan Islam menurut Rahman harus mampu menghasilkan individu yang memiliki kesadaran spiritual sekaligus kemampuan rasional-kritis. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori pendidikan Islam kontemporer yang relevan dengan tantangan modernitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konstruksi teoretis pembentukan insan kamil sebagai respons terhadap krisis identitas generasi Muslim kontemporer melalui perspektif filosofis pendidikan Islam modern. Metodologi kualitatif deskriptif-analitis digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi paradigma integratif yang mensinergikan nilai-nilai spiritual tradisional dengan tuntutan modernitas. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa krisis identitas generasi Muslim bersifat multidimensional, melibatkan aspek psikologis, sosiologis, dan spiritual yang memerlukan pendekatan holistik. Rekonstruksi paradigma pendidikan Islam memerlukan transformasi epistemologis fundamental yang mengintegrasikan dimensi transcendent dengan realitas immanent. Model pendidikan integratif yang dikembangkan menekankan character development yang comprehensive melalui curriculum multidimensional, metodologi experiential, dan teknologi-enhanced learning. Kesimpulan mengindikasikan bahwa pembentukan insan kamil achievable melalui implementasi systematic framework pendidikan yang mensinergikan spiritual formation dengan intellectual development untuk menghasilkan generasi yang resilient terhadap tantangan modernitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Menganalisis kebiasaan perilaku kecanduan Game Online Mobile legend Bang-bang pada Siswa di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Krangkeng, 2) Menemukan dampak perilaku kecanduan Game Online Mobile legend Bang-bang pada Akhlaq siswa di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Krangkeng, 3) Menganalisis Faktor yang menyebabkan siswa kecanduan Game online Mobile legend Bang-bang Di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Krangkeng. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang berupaya untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi pada saat penelitian dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalu observasi, wawancara, serta sudi dokumen. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, data display, serta pengambilan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah : 1) kebiasaan bermain game online Mobile Legend Bang-bang (MLBB) di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Krangkeng, yang dimulai sejak sekolah dasar dan dipengaruhi oleh teman, keluarga, serta YouTuber game. Lokasi bermain bervariasi, dengan durasi 1-2 jam di sekolah dan 4,5-10 jam di rumah, terutama saat libur. 2) Kecanduan game MLBB berdampak negatif pada akhlak siswa terhadap Allah SWT (menunda sholat), orang tua (mengabaikan perintah), diri sendiri (kesehatan terabaikan), sesama (fokus berkurang saat belajar), dan lingkungan (kebersihan terabaikan).3) Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kecanduan meliputi kebutuhan hiburan, dorongan kemenangan, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan kurangnya pengawasan orang tua. Intervensi yang tepat diperlukan untuk menyeimbangkan hiburan dan tanggung jawab siswa.

Abstract

Instilling environmental character in early childhood is an important foundation in forming a generation that cares about environmental sustainability. This article aims to examine how the synergy of Islamic communication between parents and teachers plays a strategic role in building environmental character in early childhood. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Research data are analyzed using an interactive model. The results of the study indicate that Islamic communication patterns that are consistently applied by parents and teachers—based on values ​​such as compassion, role models, wise advice, and strengthening Qur'anic morals—are able to shape children's awareness of the importance of protecting and loving the environment. Harmonious collaboration between the family and school environments is key to creating an educational atmosphere that supports the formation of this character. The synergy of Islamic communication not only strengthens the relationship between adults and children, but also becomes an effective means of building children's ecological awareness from an early age. This approach is in line with Aristotle's eudaimonia thinking and Ibn Miskawaih's educational ethics. This study recommends strengthening communication collaboration between schools and families, integrating Islamic teachings into environmental education, and developing an ecological character education model based on spiritual values ​​as a real contribution to building environmental awareness from an early age.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve teachers' ability to implement Collaborative Teaching based on English Medium Instruction (EMI) at SMA Negeri 5 Gowa. The program was carried out using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach involving 23 teachers from various subjects. The instrument was in the form of a pre-posttest questionnaire with 20 Likert scale statements (1–5) which included four dimensions: EMI ability, understanding collaborative teaching, collaborative implementation of collaboration, and effectiveness and feedback. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase with an average of +1.27 points in all dimensions. The biggest improvement was in the aspect of collaboration implementation (+1.29), particularly the skill of designing a 20-minute micro-lesson and providing clear collaborative instructions. These findings confirm that the EMI-based Collaborative Teaching Scheme is able to strengthen teacher confidence, increase pedagogical understanding, and foster a peer-mentoring culture in schools. The use of PAR as a framework of service has proven to be effective because it places teachers as active partners in the planning, implementation, and reflection process. The program not only improves short-term skills, but also forms an ecosystem of continuous reflective learning. Thus, this model has the potential to be replicated in other secondary schools as a strategy to improve the quality of education that is in line with the Impact Campus policy and SDGs targets

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan peran guru PAI, dampak status sekolah penggerak dan non-sekolah penggerak, dan tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam membentuk profil pelajar Pancasila di Sekolah Penggerak dan non-sekolah Penggerak. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan kuesioner. Dengan menggunakan analisis dokumen, komparatif dan deskriptif. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, Peran guru PAI dalam pembentukan Profil pelajar Pancasila di sekolah adalah memberikan ilmu pengetahuan, menjadi teladan, memadukan materi pembelajaran PAI dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Status sekolah penggerak dan sekolah non- penggerak berdampak pada peran guru PAI dalam pembentukan Profil pelajar Pancasila. Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam menghadapi tantangan dalam membentuk profil peserta didik Pancasila di Sekolah penggerak dan Non sekolah penggerak, antara lain konteks multikultural, perbedaan penafsiran, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan keterbatasan waktu. Namun, mereka juga memiliki peluang, termasuk integrasi kurikulum, pembentukan karakter, dan kolaborasi antar mata pelajaran.
