Abstract

Marketing has a crucial role in increasing product sales and introducing products to consumers. UD. Tahu Murni, located in Gunungsitoli City, is a business that focuses on tofu production with additional tempeh products. Although the business is still in operation, tofu production shows stagnation, with an increase only occurring on weekends. This is due to the lack of effective marketing strategies to attract a wider consumer base. This study aims to evaluate the marketing strategies implemented by UD. Tahu Murni in an effort to increase its sales volume. The main focus of this research is to identify the constraints faced in the marketing strategy as well as to propose improvement measures. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the marketing strategy of UD. Tahu Murni has not been optimized. The business still relies on traditional marketing methods such as word of mouth, direct sales, and direct distribution, which have proven to be slow and inefficient in expanding the market. Improving product quality and product planning based on consumer complaints is not enough to significantly increase sales volume.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze employee resistance to the working hour policy at the Gunungsitoli City Education Office, which has an impact on the effectiveness of public services. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that employee resistance is mainly influenced by a strong organizational culture, incompatibility with the new policy, and lack of employee participation in the policy planning process. The study found that such resistance resulted in decreased work discipline, which negatively impacted the quality of public services. The discussion of the results underscores the importance of inclusive and transparent management strategies in designing and implementing policies, to improve employee compliance and reduce resistance. The conclusion of this study confirms that active involvement of employees in policy planning and participatory approaches can minimize resistance and improve organizational performance and the quality of public services at the Gunungsitoli City Education Office.

Abstract

Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Barat is an area rich in cultural diversity, religion and strong customary traditions, and is inhabited by people with diverse ethnic backgrounds, including Batak and Malay. This diversity, although a great potential, also presents challenges for sub-district government organizations, especially in managing ethnic and cultural differences that can trigger social tensions. Issues of discrimination and unequal access to economic resources and employment opportunities are also issues that require serious attention. In addition, the limited political participation of some groups threatens the balance of representation in the sub-district government. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to identify the challenges faced by the sub-district government in managing human resource diversity. The results show that appropriate strategies and policies are needed to create harmony in managing such diversity. Three main efforts that can be made by the sub-district government include: a) organizing cross-cultural training programs, b) implementing inclusive policies to ensure equal opportunities for all individuals, and c) building a monitoring and evaluation system to ensure effectiveness and transparency in managing HR diversity.

Abstract

This thesis research aims to determine and test the influence of organizational culture on employee performance at the regional public company Tirta umbu drinking water company, Nias district, using quantitative research methods and the data analysis technique used is linear regression analysis. The population in the study were employees of the regional public drinking water company Tirta umbu, Nias district, totaling 60 people and a sample of 60 respondents. The results of the t test show (calculation) that organizational culture (X) is 8,465 and the significance is 0.000. Hypothesis decision-making conditions are accepted or rejected based on their level of significance. If the significance is less than or equal to 0.05 then the hypothesis is accepted. The research results obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that variable X (Organizational Culture) has a significant influence on variable Y (employee performance). From the results of the coefficient of determination (R Square), the coefficient of determination obtained from the correlation of variable X and variable Y is 0.553. Thus, it can be concluded that the size of the influence of variable X (Organizational Culture) on variable Y (employee performance) is 55.3%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strengthening of youth organization activities in Lolowua Village, Hiliserangkai District, Nias Regency, to analyze how obstacles to strengthening youth organizations in lolowua village and to analyze how efforts are made in strengthening youth organizations in lolowua village. This type of research is qualitative. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The result of this study is that the Capacity Strengthening of the Youth Organization in Lolowua village has not run optimally, this is because there are still several obstacles to indicators that are not yet effective, The main factors that become obstacles are lack of budget that limits the implementation of programs and activities, lack of adequate human resources, ineffective communication, and limited facilities, Lack of training and mentoring for member capacity, low participation from members and the community. The efforts made in strengthening the Youth Organization in Lolowua Village pay special attention to the youth organization, monitoring, evaluation of management and programs, involving the youth organization in the planning to strengthen human resources, improve communication, provide better facilities, and increase participation and training for all members of the Youth Organization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas sistem pembelajaran pendidikan non formal anak usia dini di Sempoa Sip TC Gunungsitoli dengan fokus pada tiga program, yaitu Program Baca Tulis, Program Sip English, dan Program Sempoa Sip. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan dalam sistem pembelajaran, mengevaluasi pelaksanaan, dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan kualitas. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik wawancara, pengamatan, dan dokumentasi terhadap pegawai Sempoa Sip TC Gunungsitoli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Baca Tulis memiliki kurikulum yang tidak sepenuhnya sesuai dengan realitas, sedangkan Program Sip English mengalami kekurangan dalam penerapan beberapa sistem pembelajaran. Sementara itu, Program Sempoa Sip telah berhasil mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, namun terdapat masalah seperti kurangnya perhatian tenaga pengajar terhadap peserta didik. Evaluasi sistem pembelajaran dilakukan dengan tes formatif dan tes sumatif untuk mengukur pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan efektivitas sistem. Partisipasi orang tua dianggap penting untuk memastikan transparansi dalam proses pembelajaran. Strategi peningkatan kualitas sistem pembelajaran mencakup pendekatan mikro, seperti manajemen berkualitas, pemberdayaan satuan pendidikan, profesionalisme tenaga pengajar, dan penyesuaian latar belakang pendidikan dengan program pembelajaran. Pendekatan makro melibatkan standarisasi pengembangan kurikulum, pemerataan dan persamaan, serta upaya mencapai standar mutu dan kemampuan bersaing. Kesimpulannya, perbaikan dalam manajemen, kualitas pengajaran, dan keterlibatan orang tua perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sistem pembelajaran pendidikan non formal anak usia dini di Sempoa Sip TC Gunungsitoli.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee resistance to changes in compensation policy at the Regional Public Water Company Tirta Umbu, Nias Regency. The background of this problem is employee dissatisfaction caused by changes in compensation policies that are considered unfair and not transparent. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that employee resistance was caused by perceptions of unfairness, policy uncertainty, and lack of effective communication from management. This has a negative impact on employee productivity and loyalty. In conclusion, to overcome the resistance, management needs to increase transparency and fairness in compensation policy, clarify incentive criteria, and improve communication through socialization sessions and employee involvement in the decision-making process. Additional support and training for employees is also recommended to reduce apprehension and improve adaptation to change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur efektivitas, dampak, dan aspek apa yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam pelatihan dan pengembangan aparatur desa Fodo guna meningkatkan kinerja mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian yaitu Kantor Pemerintahan Desa Fodo Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Selatan Kota Gunungsitoli. Adapun yang menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Desa Fodo, Sekretaris Desa, Bendahara Desa, Kepala Dusun 1, KASI, KAUR, BPD dan LPMD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pengembangan aparatur desa selama ini sudah dijalankan dan dinilai baik meskipun masih belum optimal seperti yang diharapkan. Anggaran yang terbatas juga mengakibatkan keterbatasan dalam jumlah dan kualitas pelatihan yang dapat dilaksanakan, sehingga tidak semua aparatur desa dapat berpartisipasi. Kurangnya partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat dan minimnya dukungan dari pihak terkait menghambat penerapan hasil pelatihan di lapangan.

Abstract

Human resource (HR) development efforts at the Ombolata Simenari Village Office, South Gunungsitoli Sub-district, Gunungsitoli City, are an important step in improving the performance of employees who have a central role in public services and community welfare. This research aims to explore the obstacles that hinder human resource development in the village and develop recommendations to overcome these obstacles. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews with village officials, stakeholders, and community members, as well as document analysis and secondary data. The results showed that the main constraints in human resource development in Ombolata Simenari Village include budget limitations, low employee participation in development programs, lack of access to quality training resources, and competency gaps among employees. Steps that can be taken to overcome these obstacles include adequate budget allocation, increasing employee participation, increasing access to quality training resources, and identifying and improving employee competencies. The discussion concludes that improving employee performance through HR development requires structured and sustainable steps. Organizational Development Theory and Organizational Performance Improvement Theory form the basis for designing effective HR development strategies. By overcoming existing obstacles, it is expected that employee performance at the Ombolata Simenari Village Office can improve significantly, so as to provide better services to the community and achieve the desired village development goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis Efektivitas Kinerja Pegawai Pada Kantor Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Barat Kota Gunungsitoli. Adanya penurunan kualitas kerja saat dihadapkan pada tenggat waktu yang singkat menunjukkan bahwa pegawai belum sepenuhnya mampu bekerja secara optimal di bawah tekanan. Selain itu, target penyelesaian surat menyurat yang belum tercapai secara maksimal dan keterlambatan dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan tepat waktu menunjukkan bahwa masih ada kekurangan dalam efisiensi dan manajemen waktu. Kurangnya alokasi sumber daya yang tidak tepat, dan kurangnya efisiensi dalam proses kerja mengindikasikan adanya inefisiensi dalam operasional kantor. Hal ini dapat menghambat pencapaian tujuan secara efektif dan efisien. Sumber informan penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 2 orang. Kebutuhan Peningkatan Sumber Daya dan Komunikasi, Adanya kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan sumber daya organisasi dan komunikasi antarpegawai atau departemen menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur dan sistem kerja saat ini belum cukup mendukung kinerja yang optimal. Perbaikan dalam hal ini dapat meningkatkan efektivitas keseluruhan kantor.
