Abstract

Spatial planning is already a standard government tool that is made periodically at the National, Provincial, District and even Village levels, however, this tool often loses its meaning and function due to inappropriate approaches and manufacturing processes. This is mostly caused by a lack of human resource capacity and skills, and mapping skills that have not been mastered by government officials at the basic level, including at the kelurahan and sub-district levels. It is necessary to present geospatial information using maps and disseminate it from the highest level of government to the lowest village/kelurahan level. As one of the administrative areas of Siabu Village, Salo District, Kampar Regency, it still has problems in conducting administrative mapping of its area due to the absence of competent personnel and the absence of digital mapping skills by utilizing geographic information system technology. This community service activity is to provide counseling regarding digital mapping based on geographic information systems for Siabu Village apparatus. The methodology for implementing this activity consists of the preparation, socialization, implementation and evaluation stages. By carrying out this counseling, it can help the surrounding community as well as provide information in the administrative mapping of the area in Siabu Village. For the next program, it is important to conduct counseling by directly surveying the condition of Siabu Village. Apart from that, the provision of a map of Siabu Village to Siabu Village Apparatuses is expected to help Siabu Village apparatus. By carrying out this counseling, it is hoped that the Siabu Village apparatus can understand digital mapping methods based on geographic information systems that can help the performance of Siabu Village apparatus.

Abstract

Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Abstract

This study aims to compare or calculate the calculation of room rent at Makassar Hajj hospital. The object of this research is Makassar haju hospital located in Makassar city. In this writing the author uses quantitative writing methods. The results of the data analysis are done by processing primary data that is about all hospital operating costs incurred in the previous period, then the data is processed. The results showed that the effect of inpatient income on the income level of Makassar Hajj Hospital. In 2011 the level of inpatient admission was Rp. 1,988,230,000 to hospital revenue. In 2012, the level of inpatient income rose to Rp. 2,174,640,000, - to hospital revenue. In 2013, there was also an increase in hospital revenue due to inpatient revenues increasing by Rp. 2,077,880,000, - And in 2014, inpatient revenue also increased to hospital revenue by Rp.2,123,630,000.- From the results obtained above, it shows that the increase in revenue from Makassar Hajj Hospital was influenced by inpatient revenue. Thus, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Mabe pearl oyster (Pteria penguin) cultivation has great potential as an alternative source of income for coastal communities through the production of high-value pearls and value-added by-products. This study aims to analyze the technical and financial feasibility of this cultivation in the waters of Palabusa, Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi. The research employed a case study method using primary data collected through observation and interviews, and secondary data obtained from literature studies. Data were analyzed both technically and financially. The technical analysis showed that the geographic condition of Palabusa, which is surrounded by small islands, provides natural protection from large waves. Water quality parameters, including temperature (29–31°C), salinity (31–32 ppt), transparency (6–9 m), current velocity (0.22 m/s), depth (6–10 m), and seagrass–sandy substrate, were within the optimal range for pearl oyster cultivation. The applied longline culture system (6×6 m) achieved a high survival rate of 85%. Financial analysis revealed that an initial investment of IDR 166,500,000 for floating cages, boats, and equipment was highly feasible. The Net Present Value (NPV) was IDR 232,700,884 (at a 10% discount rate), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 60% per year, and Payback Period (PP) 1.58 years (~19 months). The Break-Even Point (BEP) was reached at 5,068 units or a selling price of IDR 9,645 per unit, generating a net profit of IDR 105,308,188 per cycle. The study concludes that mabe pearl oyster farming in Palabusa Waters is technically and financially feasible, offering high profitability and rapid investment returns, making it a promising and sustainable enterprise.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) type cooperative learning model on students' mathematical concept understanding ability in one of the public senior high schools in Kintom District. The research subjects were 21 students of class XI MIPA2. The method used was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test, where the test was given before and after the treatment. Furthermore, it was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (normality test, homogeneity, and t-test). The results of the study are shown in the Paired Sample Test table, the sig. value is 0.000 ˂ 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it is concluded that the TGT type cooperative learning model is an effective strategy to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of an outdoor learning-based learning model on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. The outdoor learning model is implemented through learning activities outside the classroom that link direct experience with the subject matter. The research method used was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of high school students divided into two groups, namely the experimental and the control groups. Cognitive learning outcome data were collected through objective tests and analyzed using parametric statistical tests. The results revealed that there was a significant difference between the cognitive learning outcomes of students who participated in the outdoor learning model and those who used conventional learning. Therefore, the outdoor learning model can improve cognitive abilities and active student engagement in the learning process
