Abstract

Substansi informasi yang disebutkan dalam capaian pembelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Frais kelas XI belum sepenuhnya tercakup dalam media belajar yang dipakai pada kegiatan pengajaran, sehingga proses belajar menjadi kurang efisien dan efektif. Metodologi pengembangan 4D (pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran) digunakan dalam pembuatan modul pembelajaran melalui penelitian R&D. Lembar validasi berupa angket yang diberikan kepada 2 dosen dari Teknik Mesin FT UNP untuk ahli media, 1 dosen dari Teknik Mesin FT UNP dan 1 orang Guru Mata Pelajaran di SMK untuk ahli materi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Statistik deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data, yaitu dengan melihat data dengan menguraikan data yang telah diperoleh. Berdasarkan dari hasil temuan validitas melalui ahli materi yang diraih nilai akhir V pada angka 0,842 dan ahli media yang diraih nilai akhir 0,909 dalam kriteria yang valid, maka temuan penelitian pengembangan dari modul ini diraih layak untuk dipakai menjadi media belajar yang mandiri bagi siswa. Modul ajar Teknik Pemesinan Frais kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan yang dihasilkan sangat layak untuk dipakai menjadi media belajar yang mandiri sebagai pendukung bagi siswa, hal ini bisa diraih melalui hasil evaluasi validitas modul yang dikembangkan.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of low student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education, specifically the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), in fifth-grade students at SDN 11 Pauh, Padang City. These low learning outcomes are influenced by the teacher-dominated learning process, suboptimal use of learning tools, and a lack of active student participation during learning activities. This study aims to describe improvements in student learning outcomes through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), implemented in two cycles. Each cycle included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 29 fifth-grade students at SDN 11 Pauh, Padang City. Data collection techniques included observation, learning achievement tests, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model increased student engagement in learning and positively impacted learning outcomes. Therefore, the PBL model can be an effective alternative learning method for Pancasila Education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have been widely used in learning innovation. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using AI chatboxes integrated with case method on the science learning outcomes of basic education students. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design, which allows to compare learning outcomes in both sample classes. Data collection was carried out through pretest and posttest tests to measure the improvement of learning outcomes, and analysis of research data using SPSS 22. The population used was basic education students at Padang State University. The results showed that the use of AI chatbox integrated case method was quite effective in improving science learning outcomes with the acquisition of n-gain in the experimental class of 0.62 with a moderate category. The results of hypothesis test analysis show the Sig value. 0.004 <0.05 so that Ha is accepted. These results prove that the use of AI chatboxes integrated with the case method is effective in improving the science learning outcomes of basic education students. This research shows that the innovative use of AI technology in learning can have a positive impact on student academic achievement, especially in the field of basic education.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of fourth-grade Public elementary school students at 01 Bandar Buat in Padang, became the basis for conducting study. Problem arose due to the lack of optimization in implementing group-based learning as a means of discussion among students and the limited use of innovative learning models during classroom activities. This situation led to low of students motivation and boredom in learning because of the limited variety in learning activities and the students’ weak understanding of the concepts because they lacked confidence in working with peers. The purpose of this study is to improve students’ learning outcomes through the use of the Listening Team Cooperative Learning Model in IPAS instruction in Grade 4 at SDN 01 Bandar Buat, Padang. Using Classroom Action Research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research instruments consisted of tests and non-tests. The results of research showed that study an improvement in IPAS learning outcomes from the implementation of Cycle I to Cycle II. In Cycle I, students achieved a mean learning outcome of 77.21%, which increased 96.29% in Cycle II. There was an improvement in students’ learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II by 86.78%. This indicates that the application of this model in classroom learning activities has an impact that can improve student learning outcomes, wherein the classroom serves as a forum for discussion by involving students so they can actively participate, think critically, and collaborate with their peers in learning activities, enabling them to thoroughly understand the material presented.
