Abstract

Pratama Bertha Clinic Medan is one of the public health institutions whose activities are to serve the health of patients both outpatient and inpatient, there are maternity polyclinic facilities and patient inpatient rooms. The service system in the clinic has not been fully implemented optimally, resulting in the service system in the clinic being less effective and efficient. The author makes data services using visual studio as a solution to some of the problems faced. In making this application the author uses Visual Studio 2010 as a programming language and the database uses SQL Server 2008.

Abstract

Pada anak sekolah dasar, kebiasaan buruk seperti mengonsumsi makanan yang tidak higienis dan tidak mencuci tangan sebelum makan merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab diare. Diare adalah peningkatan frekuensi pergerakan usus akibat infeksi.  Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan edukasi tentang upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian diare pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini dikarenakan penyakit diare akan dapat menimbulkan masalah serius jika tidak ditangani dengan baik anak akan berisiko mengalami dehidrasi dan kehilangan nutrisi penting. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan masih banyak siswa tidak mencuci tangan sebelum makan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terdiri dari penyuluhan, demonstrasi latihan, dan diskusi pada SD kelas 3 sampai 6. Demonstrasi yang dilakukan adalah mencuci tangan dengan benar dan menggunakan sabun. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh siswa sangat antusias dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam menyimak materi diare dan mendemontrasikan cara mencuci tangan 6 langkah. Dengan demikian adanya pengetahuan dan informasi yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang diare, cara siswa untuk melakukan penangulangan penyakit diare serta pemahaman tentang cara mencuci tangan dengan baik dan benar sehingga penyakit diare dapat dicegah.

Abstract

The study deals with Feminism in Veronica Roth™s Movie œDivergent from three women character. The objective of the study were to find out the types of feminism and the roles of women in Divergent movie. The research method of this study used qualitative research, relying on the analysis and description of previous researcher and the studies of feminism. The data of this study were the utterances that can be found out from the script of divergent movie. The data of this research were analyzed by using Tong™s theory. The researcher found there are 3 types of feminism in three women character in Divergent movie, they are : 5 statements that are included in liberal feminism, 12 statements are included in radical feminism, and 3 statements are included in anarchist feminism. The role of women that can be found from three women character in Divergent movie was the role of women in domestic sector and the role of women in public sector.

Abstract

DarkChoco, which sells Dubai chocolate, has seen its sales increase every day, but this situation has affected the level of service to customers because the ingredients used to make the chocolate run out quickly. There are some customers who cannot taste and get the Dubai chocolate. This case will lead to fewer customers. So this research was conducted to predict sales in maintaining the availability of materials so that the services will increase again. The method that will be used in this research uses the Monte Carlo method by processing Dubai Viral Chocolate sales data in 2021, 2022 and 2023. This study aims to simulate the prediction of the sales level of Dubai specialty chocolate by applying the Monte Carlo method. Dubai specialty chocolate is a product with high market potential and significant demand fluctuations, so accurate sales prediction is very important for business decision making. The simulation of the sales forecast will show an average accuracy rate of about 94.5%, which means that the forecast is quite close to the actual data. Some months with large deviations (February, March, May, August, December) indicate potential seasonal variability or other factors that need attention. This simulation model is effective for sales forecasting and planning by taking uncertainty into account. Thus, this method is capable of producing forecasts that are more realistic and informative than conventional methods. The results show that the application of Monte Carlo method is able to provide a comprehensive overview of sales simulation and predict sales levels with sufficient accuracy, and this Monte Carlo method can also be an effective tool in helping companies manage inventory and marketing strategies for Dubai specialty chocolates to improve operational efficiency and business profits in the future.

Abstract

The 21st-century learning One, solution that can be used is by using the Understanding by Design (UbD) curriculum. The aim of this research is to examine the application of UbD in teaching, the implementation of UbD in Indonesia, expected student learning outcomes within the UbD framework, and the role of teachers in the implementation of UbD. The method used is the literature study method. The data analysis technique uses deductive qualitative analysis. The results obtained are that UbD learning can be used as a reference in preparing learning implementation plans that are oriented towards learning goals. Learning using UbD has not been fully implemented by all teachers in Indonesia, because there are still many teachers who prioritize the results of final grades rather than students' understanding. The implementation of UbD has actually been planned in the latest curriculum, namely the independent curriculum, but this curriculum has not been fully implemented by all schools. In implementing UbD, students are expected to have 6 abilities, namely explaining, interpreting, applying, taking a perspective, empathizing and having self-knowledge. The role of teachers is very essential in UbD, which involves designing, implementing, and directing learning activities.ABSTRAK. Pembelajaran abad 21, salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan kurikulum Understanding by design (UbD). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji penerapan UbD dalam pembelajaran, implementasi UbD di Indonesia, hasil pembelajaran peserta didik yang diharapkan dalam kerangka UbD dan peran guru dalam implementasi UbD. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisa kualitatif deduktif. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu strategi UbD dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam menyusun perencanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang berorientasi kepada tujuan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran menggunakan UbD belum sepenuhnya diterapkan oleh semua guru di Indonesia, karena masih banyak guru yang mementingkan hasil nilai akhir dibandingkan pemahaman peserta didik. Penerapan strategi UbD sebenarnya sudah dicanangkan di kurikulum terbaru yaitu kurikulum merdeka, tetapi kurikulum ini belum sepenuhnya diterapkan oleh semua sekolah. Pada penerapan strategi UbD, peserta didik diharapkan memiliki 6 kemampuan yakni menjelaskan, interpretasi, menerapkan, melakukan perspektif, berempati dan memiliki pengetahuan diri. Peran guru sangat esensial dalam UbD, yaitu merancang, melaksanakan dan mengarahkan kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Background: Pelecehan dan kekerasan seksual setiap tahunnya meningkat. Terutama pada dunia pendidikan sering terjadinya kasus pelecehan dan kekerasan seksual. Terjadi di perguruan tinggi, sekolah, madrasah hingga pesantren. Dampak pelecehan kekerasan seksual ini berefek samping pada psikologis, fisik anak dan lingkungan pendidikan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman pengetahuan kepada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Weru Cirebon Jawa Barat tentang pelecehan dan kekerasan seksual. Metode: Terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dan melalui 3 pendekatan yaitu tes awal (pretest), diskusi pemberian materi dan tes akhir (posttest). Hasil: Hasil nilai rata-rata pretest 40,12 kemudian meningkat dengan hasil nilai rata-rata posttest 66,25 dengan n-gain 0,43 pada kategori sedang. Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah kegiatan ini berdasarkan nilai pretest dan posttest siswa mengalami peningkatan pemahaman pengetahuan tentang pelecehan dan kekerasan seksual pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

Abstract: The availability of motorcycle spare parts on time and in sufficient quantities is the key to maintaining customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of authorized workshops and dealers. However, one of the main problems faced is the uncertainty in the amount of demand that often fluctuates due to seasonal factors, consumer behavior, and vehicle maintenance trends. This condition can cause excess stock which increases storage costs or shortages of stock which has an impact on declining service and the potential for losing customers. This study aims to analyze and predict sales of Honda motorcycle spare parts by utilizing the linear regression method. This method was chosen because of its ability to map the relationship between time variables and sales volume quantitatively and simply. The data used are monthly sales data for the last two years from authorized Honda distributors. The results of the analysis show that the linear regression model can predict sales trends with a fairly good level of accuracy, indicated by the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.86. Thus, this model can be used as a decision-making tool in inventory management and marketing strategy planning that is more adaptive to changes in market demand Keywords: linear regression; motorcycle spare parts; sales prediction; stock                  management. Abstrak: Ketersediaan sparepart sepeda motor secara tepat waktu dan dalam jumlah yang memadai merupakan kunci dalam menjaga kepuasan pelanggan dan kelancaran operasional bengkel maupun dealer resmi. Namun, salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah ketidakpastian dalam jumlah permintaan yang sering kali fluktuatif akibat faktor musiman, perilaku konsumen, hingga tren perawatan kendaraan. Kondisi ini dapat menyebabkan kelebihan stok yang meningkatkan biaya penyimpanan atau kekurangan stok yang berdampak pada penurunan pelayanan dan potensi kehilangan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memprediksi penjualan sparepart sepeda motor Honda dengan memanfaatkan metode regresi linier. Metode ini dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam memetakan hubungan antara variabel waktu dan jumlah penjualan secara kuantitatif dan sederhana. Data yang digunakan merupakan data penjualan bulanan selama dua tahun terakhir dari distributor resmi Honda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model regresi linier dapat memprediksi tren penjualan dengan tingkat akurasi yang cukup baik, ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,86. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat dijadikan alat bantu pengambilan keputusan dalam pengelolaan persediaan dan perencanaan strategi pemasaran yang lebih adaptif terhadap perubahan permintaan pasar. Kata kunci: manajemen stok; prediksi penjualan; regresi linier; sparepart motor.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of student service to the community with the aim of providing solutions to the increasing problem of plastic waste management in Industri Tenayan Village. Improperly managed plastic waste has the potential to pollute the environment and reduce the quality of life of the community. This KKN program aimed to raise public awareness of plastic waste management and provide practical skills through training in the production of environmentally friendly paving blocks. The methods used included counseling on the impact of plastic waste, socialization of waste utilization concepts, workshops on paving block production, and practical training involving 30 local participants. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test to measure knowledge improvement and through observation of paving block production results. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge by 85%, technical skills by 78%, and the production of 50 paving blocks that are ready for use and have potential market value. This program contributed to reducing plastic waste volume while creating new business opportunities for the community.

Abstract

General Background: Aceh Province holds a special status in Indonesia, allowing the formal implementation of Islamic sharia through Qanun, including sanctions for khalwat (seclusion between non-mahram individuals). Specific Background: Qanun Jinayat No. 6/2014 explicitly categorizes khalwat as a jarimah punishable by flogging, but its enforcement in Aceh Tenggara remains inconsistent and contested. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies largely examined normative or localized aspects, leaving insufficient exploration of the multidimensional obstacles—structural, cultural, juridical, and procedural—that undermine the law’s effectiveness. Aims: This study seeks to identify, analyze, and evaluate the obstacles and challenges faced in enforcing flogging sanctions against khalwat perpetrators in Aceh Tenggara, and to formulate strategic solutions. Results: Findings reveal that weak institutional capacity, limited training, overlapping legal norms, community resistance, and social pressures on law enforcement significantly hinder consistent and fair implementation. Novelty: Unlike earlier works, this study provides a comprehensive analysis that integrates legal theory with empirical insights, offering a holistic view of enforcement challenges. Implications: Strengthening inter-agency coordination, enhancing officer capacity, and promoting community legal awareness are essential to ensure that sharia enforcement in Aceh is more effective, just, and contextually responsive to societal dynamics. Highlights: Structural, cultural, and juridical barriers weaken effective implementation. Social resistance and weak institutional capacity hinder law enforcement. Abstract

Background & Objective: In Indonesia, the number of breast cancer patients is estimated to increase by around 65,000 new cases each year, with 70% of new cancer patients visiting the doctor at the final stage. One of the causes of the high number of breast cancer cases is a lack of knowledge, motivation, and desire to undergo early detection examinations. SADARI is a self-breast examination to detect any abnormalities in the breasts. This study aims to determine the effect of health education about SADARI on knowledge and motivation to perform SADARI among female adolescents at SMAN 2 Way Tenong. Method: This study is a pre-experimental study using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consists of 31 female adolescents at SMAN 2 Way Tenong. The sample used is 31 female adolescents at SMAN 2 Way Tenong. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire, and the study was conducted on November 13, 2024, with data analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Result: The average knowledge about SADARI before the intervention was 48.3% (low knowledge), while the average after the intervention was 91.1% (good knowledge). The average motivation to perform SADARI before was 32.9% (low motivation), while the average after was 90.5% (high motivation). There was an effect of SADARI health education on knowledge with a p-value of 0.000 > 0.05. Conclusion: There is an effect of SADARI health education on motivation to perform SADARI, with a p-value of 0.000 > 0.05. It is hoped that this research can provide information about SADARI to adolescent girls, serve as a reference for education and counseling for high schools and health workers, become a source of publication and literature, and be used as a reference for Aisyah Pringsewu University.
