Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan menulis dan praktik materi sastra lisan kepada siswa SMPN 21 Buru. Metode dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan PAR (Participatory Action Research), yakni pelatihan berupa edukasi berbasis teori dan praktik terkait pelatihan menulis dan praktik materi sastra lisan yang meliputi tiga tahapan, yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Sasaran pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini adalah siswa SMPN 21 Buru kelas VII dan kelas VIII. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah 12 orang. Adapun hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini digiatkan pada tiga tahap, yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanakan meliputi edukasi berbasis teori dan edukasi berbasis praktik, dan tahap evaluasi. Melalui edukasi berbasis teori, para siswa GSMS memperoleh pengetahuan terkait materi etika budaya (etika budaya pulau Buru), materi Gebarpolo (pengetahuan tradisional masyarakat pulau Buru), materi dongeng dan cerita rakyat pulau Buru, pengenalan permainan rakyat, ungkapan (idiom) masyarakat pulau Buru, dan materi dasar-dasar gerak/acting. Selanjutnya, pada edukasi berbasis praktik, para siswa GSMS memperagakan materi sastra lisan sesuai dengan gestur, intonasi, mimik, dan penjiwaan yang tepat. Kemudian itu, pada tahap evaluasi, para siswa GSMS mementaskan hasil pembelajaran melalui pagelaran akbar yang dilaksanakan oleh pengelola GSMS Kabupaten Buru dalam hal ini Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Buru. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, para siswa GSMS sangat senang dan antusias karena berkat pelatihan ini mereka mendapatkan wawasan yang luas tentang sastra lisan Pulau Buru.

Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut peningkatan kemampuan guru untuk menyesuaikannya. Salah satu poin utama dalam aplikasi kurikulum tersebut adalah penerapan metode Project Based Learning yang dianggap memiliki potensi besar dalam memaksimalkan kompetensi siswa. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk meingkatakan kompetensi guru di daerah Kota Pekalongan dalam memahami Project Based Learning dan penerapannya. Kegitan yang di selenggarakan di SMA Sains Cahaya Al Quran Pekalongan ini diikuti oleh 32 peserta, terdiri dari guru-guru yang berasal dari beberapa sekolah di kota pekalongan. Metode pelatihan diterapkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yang dikemas dalam konsep Temu Pendidik Daerah. Fakta dilapangan yang telah terjadi bahwa mayoritas pendidik hanya memahami PjBL sebatas pemberian tugas keapada siswa, padahal PjBL lebih dari itu. Metode ini dapat memaksimalkan kompetensi siswa, menerapkan 6 profil pelajar pancaseila dengan maksimal, serta dapat membantu guru dalam penilaian apabila dikombinasikan dengan asesmen yang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan selain meluruskan miskonsepsi tersebut juga untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam menyusun pembelajaran dalam era Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the psychological well-being of Phase E students or class X SMA Negeri 10 Semarang. The research sample was Phase E or X class students with a total of 354 (113 boys and 241 girls). The researcher used incidental techniques to collect samples. Research using descriptive quantitative method. To find out the well-being of students, the researcher used the psychological well-being scale instrument, or PWBS, which was developed by Ryff (1989) and has been re-translated by the author, distributed via an online system via Google form. The total number of items 84 are all valid items, the validity coefficient is from 0.314 to 0.779 and the reliability coefficient is 0.966. 13 (3.7%) students had a low psychological well-being category, 125 (35.3%) the lower medium category, 180 (50.8%) the upper medium category and 36 (10.2%) the high category. The main concern is students who have the middle and low categories. It is necessary to develop a Guidance and Counseling service program to improve psychological well-being in order to increase the level of the impaired to the optimal level.

Abstract

Teknik alih wahana merupakan salah satu teknik belajar yang diterapkan sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran pada Kurikulum Merdeka mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, yaitu mengalihwahanakan satu teks ke teks lainnya untuk tujuan ekonomi kreatif dan menerbitkan hasil tulisan di media cetak maupun media digital. Kegiatan pengalihwahanaan dilaksanakan dengan mendeskripsikan objek dari media visual dalam bentuk teks deskripsi kemudian dialihwahanakan menjadi teks eksposisi dan dipublikasikan pada akun blogspot siswa. SMKN 3 Malang merupakan salah satu sekolah yang menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengolahan isi informasi dan pola penyajian informasi dalam paragraf teks eksposisi alih wahana karya siswa kelas X jurusan perhotelan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik studi dokumen. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan catat. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa dokumen hasil alih wahana karya siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengolahan dan penyajian informasi dalam paragraf teks eksposisi hasil alih wahana karya siswa mencakup 1) pengolahan isi informasi berupa penambahan, pengurangan, dan perubahan dengan variasi, dan 2) pola penyajian informasi meliputi umum-khusus, khusus-umum, ilustrasi, dan perbandingan. Pengolahan informasi yang berubah dalam teks alih wahana terjadi karena penyesuaian tujuan penulisan untuk memberikan informasi atau mempengaruhi pembaca.

Abstract

The death of 11 of the 71 local languages ​​in Maluku without a proper burial is a very sad thing for generations of speakers of these languages. Meanwhile, 71 other local languages ​​are threatened with extinction. Even though there has been a Maluku province regional regulation No. 14 of 2005 and Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2009 as well as central government policies through Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology regulations No. 7 of 2022 concerning the independent curriculum. These efforts, up to now, have not produced effective results, so it is very urgent to research and revitalize it based on the needs and conditions of the Maluku people, especially on the island of Buru to prevent language death and extinction. Therefore, this research aims to develop 4 in 1 multilingual-based Maluku regional language teaching materials (Buru language) in implementing the Merdeka curriculum in Buru Regency. To achieve the objectives of this research, the appropriate research method to employ is Research and Development (R&D) with an analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model design. This design shows several research stages starting with analyzing the needs of students, teachers, and stakeholders as well as analyzing the situation in 6 Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) schools in the Buru district. The results of data analysis will be used as material to design and develop syllabi, lesson plans, and Buru language textbooks in the 4 in 1 multilingual learning model, then develop textbook products and will be implemented in the independent curriculum and evaluated through experimental tests on small, medium and large scales

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to 1) determine the behavior of parents in educating children's religiosity; 2) identify children's actions in applying religiosity in society. The location of this research is in Ubung Village, Lilialy District, Buru Regency, because this location is assessed as the role of parents in educating children's religiosity very high and intensively. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The method in this research is the method of observation with data collection techniques used, namely in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The results showed 1) parental behavior in educating religiosity in the village of Ubung includes (1) democratic parenting or behavior. In this pattern there are four aspects applied by parents in Ubung Village, namely (a) aspects of affection, (b) aspects of communication, (c) aspects of self-control, (d) aspects of maturity demands; (2) permissive parenting; (3) attachment parenting; (4) authoritarian parenting; (5) helicopter parenting; (6) negligent parenting. 2) As for the children's actions in implementing religiosity in the community in Ubung Village, namely looking happy and happy in their interactions, never learning to control their behavior, having a high sense of care for their surroundings, often less happy, withdrawn, afraid, and less confident When comparing themselves with others, children tend to be afraid of expressing opinions, low self-esteem, and so on.

Abstract

the aim of this research is to describe and analyze the influence of mind mapping content mastery services on student learning motivation. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest method. The results of this research show that there is an increase in student learning motivation after being provided with mind mapping content mastery services. The pretest results showed that 1 student had a level of learning motivation in the low category, 25 students in the medium category, and 13 students in the high category. Meanwhile, the posttest results showed that there were no students in the low category, 10 students in the medium category, and 29 students in the high category. The results of hypothesis testing through the paired sample t-test obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000 ? 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted so it can be concluded that there is an influence of mind mapping content mastery services on student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study describes how a national English textbook entitled When English Rings a Bell for Junior High School Level meets criteria of Cunnignswirth’s good English textbook. Interviews with the teacher and students of grade VII at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta were conducted to investigate how the textbook is considered qualified. Document review was also applied to analyse the textbook. The results show that all chapters in the “When English Rings a Bell” textbook fulfill the Cunningsworth’s criteria of a good textbook. The textbook was suitable enough to be used for media in teaching learning process for the seventh grade students of Junior High School. From the teacher’s view, the textbook is appropriate with the learning objectives of the curret curriculum. This is in line woth the Cunningsworth’s criteria. However, some students found difficulties in using this textbook: 1). they still need teacher’s role to clearly explain the materials, 2). Supporting materials from other sources to improve the students’ ability in both comprehending the concept and doing practices. These two may be caused by the lack of examples in the textbook.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the offline and online learning process at Namlea State Primary School 5 (SDN 5 Namlea) during the Covid-19 pandemic and to identify the teacher's approach for integrating offline and online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN 5 Namlea. This study employed a qualitative descriptive methodology with a phenomenological approach. Principals, instructors, students in Classes I, III, IV, and VI, and students in Classes III, IV, and V served as data sources for both primary and secondary data. This research employs nonparticipant observation employing field survey techniques (field study), interviews (interviews), documentary studies, and literature studies as its methodology. During the Covid-19 epidemic, the results of the study demonstrate that the offline and online learning processes at SDN 5 Namlea are very efficient and effective. The school incorporates offline learning through 1) shift (alternating teaching and learning), 2) television, 3) study groups, and 4) home visits. In the process of online education, teachers utilize two media platforms, namely WhatsApp and YouTube. During the Covid-19 pandemic, SDN 5 Namlea implemented offline and online learning strategies by 1) conducting learning activities (Blended Learning, Offline, Online); 2) using technological facilities such as gadgets, laptops, internet, and wifi; and 3) utilizing application media, namely WhatsApp and YouTube.

Abstract

This research discusses the phenomenon of hate speech in Hilarion Heagy's conversion news on Twitter. Hilarion Heagy, a former Orthodox priest who later embraced Eastern Catholicism before ultimately converting to Islam, has sparked significant controversy within religious circles, eliciting varied reactions, especially on social media. This research addresses a significant gap in the literature by examining hate speech in the context of religious conversion. Therefore, this research aims to identify types of hate speech and find out the intent behind hate speech. This research utilizes the National Police Chief's circular number SE/6/X/2015 to identify types of hate expressions and uses Searle's illocutionary speech act theory to explain the meaning behind hate expressions. In this research, data was taken from comments on Twitter related to the news of Hilarion Heagy's conversion. The results of the research found that the expressions of hatred in the news about Hilarion Heagy's conversion were related to religious issues. The outcomes found five types of hate speech, with the most performed being Blasphemy (17 times), followed by Provoking (11 times), Defamation (10 times), Insult (7 times), then the least one being Spreading fake news (5 times). As for the types of illocutionary acts, the most dominant was Assertive (40 times), followed by Directive (7 times) and Expressive (3 times). There were no Commissive and Declaration types found at all.
