Abstract

The diversity of culture, ethnicity, religion, tribe, language and other aspects makes Indonesia a multicultural country that is recognized by other countries. There are positive and negative impacts of multicultural countries. Negative impacts include being able to cause differences of opinion, conflict, injustice, social integration and ethnocentrism. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of Pancasila values through Pancasila education in the multicultural era. Writing scientific articles uses qualitative methods, using literature study collection techniques. The Pancasila values contained in it, such as cooperation, unity, tolerance, solidarity, mutual cooperation, are used as guidelines in social life. Thus, the values of Pancasila must already exist within the individual before acting in real life. So that multicultural life does not give rise to social conflicts that will destroy peace in the environment

Abstract

Currently, in Indonesia's education system, there is a gender imbalance that remains apparent. In general, Indonesian society still holds the understanding that women belong to a lower group and are lower than men, although, in the context of education, all individuals, both men and women, have the same right to education. Ironically, education, which is supposed to be a learning space for both sexes, turns out to be more sought after by men than women. This is due to the patriarchal view, that is, the view that men hold higher and more valuable positions than women. Education plays a key role in achieving gender equality in society, because through education, social norms, knowledge, and skills can be transferred. In education, women are still lagging behind men. This condition is partly due to a lack of look in society that promotes and places people to get education from women. Education that promotes gender equality is a very important strategic issue. Efforts are needed to formulate national education policies that integrate gender in a concrete way, including in gender-based curricula. As a result, women's roles and potential become limited, even when they have a desire to contribute in the field of education. To prevent inequalities in the world of education, it is important to maintain and promote gender equality in social life.

Abstract

This research reviews the literature related to character education and moral development in children, with the aim of understanding how moral values can be effectively transferred through formal and informal education. The study identified effective methods in character education, such as the use of moral stories, interactive discussions, and real-life examples from adults. Findings from various studies show that character education that is consistently implemented in the school curriculum has a significant positive impact on children's moral development, as seen in their daily behaviour and their ability to make ethical decisions. This study recommends closer collaboration between schools and families and the establishment of policies that support the integration of character education in the formal education system. Thus, character education can contribute to the formation of a generation that upholds moral and ethical values.

Abstract

Civic education in primary schools is an important instrument in shaping the character of the nation's children to have a national perspective, positive social behaviour, and be ready to contribute to the development of the country. This study uses a literature review to examine the role of civic education in shaping social attitudes and fostering active participation among students from an early age. The results of the literature review show that PKn is effective in instilling the values of tolerance, mutual cooperation, solidarity, responsibility, and legal awareness, which are the foundations of social life. In addition, PKn is able to encourage student involvement in various social activities and simple democratic activities, which then become initial training in actively participating in the development of the nation and state. With a participatory learning approach, teacher role models, and integration with the environment and family, PKn can make a real contribution to creating a young generation with social character, who are caring and have an active role in sustainable national development.
