Abstract

The background to this work is that although 90% of Nglarangan village youth have access to smartphones and are involved in social media, most still face obstacles in finding work that suits their potential and interests. This service aims to revitalize the post-COVID-19 economy by empowering the young generation in Nglarangan Village, Kauman District, and Ponorogo Regency by creating YouTube content. This service method uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which includes stages; identify assets, plan, and dream. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis technique compares the results of previous services with the same theme and with relevant theoretical studies. The result of this mentoring work is that this training not only opens up new job opportunities but also increases the income level in Nglarangan Village. By utilizing the digital landscape, Nglarangan Village is an example of an innovative economic revival after the pandemic. The younger generation's proficiency in using YouTube and the Microstoker platform generates economic prospects and fosters solidarity and creativity among Karang Taruna members. Apart from individual benefits, this initiative also positively impacts the village's image and contributes to local economic growth. Nglarangan Village is an inspiring model illustrating how creative economic empowerment, centered on digital platforms, can bring positive transformation after the challenges of the pandemic.

Abstract

The Tadrijiyan method, rooted in gradual and repetitive learning, is recognized as an effective approach for Quran memorization. However, challenges remain in implementing this method at TPQ Masjid Darussalam in Prajegan Village, Sukorejo District. This study aims to develop and implement a training program for Quran teachers using the Tadrijiyan method to enhance their teaching effectiveness. The research employed Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving stages of problem identification, action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, followed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that the Tadrijiyan method significantly improved teachers' ability to guide Quran memorization, resulting in increased student motivation and better memorization outcomes. Teachers reported greater confidence in applying structured and systematic teaching techniques. The study concludes that the Tadrijiyan method effectively supports Quranic education at TPQ Masjid Darussalam and recommends its broader application in similar educational settings. Future studies should explore its implementation in diverse contexts and consider developing more comprehensive teaching modules.

Abstract

Nambangrejo Village has unique village assets, which can be categorized into several categories: tradition, art, traditional knowledge and culture. These assets of Nambangrejo Village are unique and different from other areas. Such as Mirah Hamlet and Golan Hamlet, which until now are still thick with traditions of not being allowed to marry between the two, even just meeting, this folklore is still believed until now. In terms of culture, Nambangrejo also has Reog Art, which is also a village asset. In terms of micro-economy, Nambangrejo also has umkm processed products whose resources can still be developed further. While from the religious sector, Nambangrejo Village also has Banjari art. Therefore, this service was carried out with the intention of identifying the potential of Nambangrejo Village using the Asset Basse Community Drive Development “ABCD” method to maximize local potential, especially Nambangrejo Village with the aim of sustainable potential development. Departing from such village assets, group 03 formulated the activity “Personal Branding Assistance Through Social Media to Increase Local Potential in Nambangrejo Village” by applying the ABCD method. The output of this research is to produce human resources (HR) of the Nambangrejo community who have knowledge and personal branding to project Nambangrejo Village sustainably.

Abstract

Ibn Khaldun, a prominent 14th-century Islamic scholar, offered groundbreaking ideas on education that continue to hold relevance in contemporary educational systems. His thoughts emerged from a broader context of Islamic scholarship, emphasizing the importance of knowledge acquisition for both individual and societal advancement. The purpose of this study is to examine Ibn Khaldun's educational philosophy and explore its relevance to modern education systems. Drawing on his magnum opus, Muqaddimah, this study delves into his concepts of the stages of learning, the role of the teacher, and the importance of experience alongside theoretical knowledge. The research employs a qualitative analysis of primary sources, with a focus on comparing traditional Islamic thought with modern educational theories. Findings suggest that Ibn Khaldun’s holistic approach to education (1)combining moral, intellectual, and practical (2)provides valuable insights for addressing current educational challenges, such as fostering critical thinking and adapting to the evolving demands of a globalized world. The study concludes that Ibn Khaldun’s educational philosophy remains highly relevant, particularly in terms of cultivating well-rounded individuals and promoting a dynamic, adaptable educational system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the role of pesantren in instilling anti-corruption attitudes. Pesantren is empirically known as a successful institution in developing quality education, especially in the field of religion. In the midst of a number of compliments received from pesantren, there is criticism that must reflect the pesantren, that pesantren are considered to have not succeeded in perfectly educating students who have strong personalities in anti-corruption. That criticism is not without foundation. The ministry of religion which incidentally is the headquarters of the students, is also known as one of the ministries which often ministers stumble over corruption cases. Even though they are not a few who in their daily lives work as preachers and obligatory worshipers, and can even be categorized as scholars. This study uses qualitative research library type. Data collection by identifying discourses from books, papers or articles, journals, newspapers, internet (websites), and other information that is still related to pesantren studies. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and critical analysis. Descriptive analysis is collecting and compiling data then the data is analyzed. Meanwhile, critical analysis is the interpretation of the text and addressing the meaning behind events scientifically. The results showed the need for pesantren stakeholders to reaffirm the pesantren culture to instill anti-corruption in their students. especially through his students. Because students with their pesanten culture (a) have a simple tradition of life an absolute requirement to be a pioneer of anti-corruption; (b) has strong religious insight, and (c) deep-rooted tradition amar ma'ruf nahi munkar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how social change and structural transformation in Indonesia affect social solidarity in modern society, using Durkheim's theory as an analytical framework. The library method in this study uses literature studies to explore Émile Durkheim's main thoughts on social solidarity, focusing on the transition from mechanical solidarity to organic solidarity in modern society. The sources used include Durkheim's works as well as articles and books that discuss the application of Durkheim's theory in the increasingly diversified Indonesian social context. Qualitative analysis is carried out to compare Durkheim's concepts with social realities in Indonesia, as well as to provide recommendations for strengthening social solidarity amidst cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity. In Émile Durkheim's perspective, social solidarity is key to maintaining unity and cohesion in society. Durkheim distinguishes between mechanical solidarity, which occurs in simple and homogeneous societies, and organic solidarity, which emerges in more complex and diversified societies. Indonesia, with its rich diversity in culture, religion, ethnicity, and language, faces significant challenges in sustaining social solidarity amidst rapid social changes. The transition from mechanical to organic solidarity, driven by urbanization, industrialization, and globalization, brings new challenges such as anomie, social inequality, identity crises, and deeper social fragmentation, requiring ongoing efforts to keep solidarity strong and inclusive.

Abstract

Indonesia is the 6th most indebted country, 3rd most corrupt country, 112th out of 127 countries in human resources ranking with 30% of the population living below the poverty line and 12 million open unemployed. Improving collaboration in schools is an important step in creating a more effective and enjoyable learning environment. Collaboration not only involves interactions between teachers and students but also involves parents, communities and various other stakeholders. The participatory leadership model is often defined as a principal who involves active participation from various parties, such as teachers, students, parents, the community, and all those related to the teaching and learning process in the educational institution. in the study entitled ‘Principal's Participatory Leadership Strategy in Improving Collaboration in Schools’ is through literature review. Literature review is a research method that includes searching, collecting, and analysing information contained in written works or sources such as books, journal articles, theses, and other related documents. By applying participatory leadership, the Principal of MA Ma'arif Balong can create a school environment that is inclusive, innovative, and focused on student needs.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain layanan yang belum optimal dalam mendukung perkembangan peserta didik, baik secara akademis maupun psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan tantangan yang dihadapi peserta didik, serta menentukan solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan peran bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, yaitu pengumpulan dan analisis literatur yang relevan. Data diperoleh dari buku dan jurnal yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis isi untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan peserta didik meliputi aspek emosional, akademis, dan sosial yang harus dipenuhi agar mereka dapat berkembang secara optimal. Namun, terdapat berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, stigma terhadap layanan bimbingan dan konseling, dan kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa kolaborasi antara guru bimbingan dan konseling, orang tua, dan masyarakat sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas layanan. Untuk meningkatkan peran bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah, perlu dikembangkan program yang lebih komprehensif serta meningkatkan partisipasi orang tua dalam mendukung layanan bimbingan. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut diharapkan bimbingan dan konseling dapat lebih efektif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Durkheim's social solidarity theory in the development of Islamic religious education in the context of social integration of Muslim society. This study uses a library method to analyze the role of Émile Durkheim's social theory in the development of Islamic religious education, focusing on the theory of social solidarity and its application. The literature used includes Durkheim's works as well as recent articles and research related to the relationship between Islamic religious education and social solidarity. By reviewing various references, this study aims to deepen understanding of the application of Durkheim's theory in the context of Islamic religious education in society. Islamic religious education has an important role in forming social solidarity through values ​​such as ukhuwah, ta'awun, and social justice. Durkheim's principle of social solidarity which emphasizes shared values ​​is very relevant to be applied in Islamic religious education. By teaching these values, Islamic religious education can strengthen social integration and create a more harmonious and just society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the integration of John Dewey's experiential learning concept in children's Qur'an learning in order to increase their active involvement and understanding of Qur'anic values. This study uses a library research method to collect and analyze data from various literature sources, such as books, journal articles, and documents related to John Dewey's experiential learning concept and its application in Qur'anic education. The data obtained are analyzed through identification of key concepts, comparison with the principles of Qur'anic education, and categorization to build a systematic theoretical framework. This approach provides a strong theoretical basis for evaluating the relevance and potential of integrating Dewey's theory in children's Qur'anic learning. The results of the study indicate that the application of John Dewey's experiential learning concept in Qur'anic learning can create a more active and contextual learning experience for children. With the "learning by doing" approach and project-based learning, children not only memorize the verses of the Qur'an, but also understand and apply them in everyday life. The integration of technology and media in the learning process also increases student engagement, making learning more interactive and enjoyable. Overall, this approach not only deepens religious understanding, but also strengthens children's character and social skills, and prepares them to face life's challenges.
