Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tahapan pengembangan buku ajar teori bilangan berbasis kooperatif jigsaw dan respon mahasiswa terhadap buku ajar . Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahap: Preliminary research,prototyping or development, dan assessment. Populasi penelitian mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar dengan jumlah 35 Orang. Data penelitian berupa kuesioner, angket validasi, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Validasi buku ajar dilakukan oleh tiga validator dengan nilai 96,67%dikategorikan sangat baik.Respon mahasiswa sangat membantu dengan adanya buku ajar nilai 87,4% dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tahapan pengembangan model pembelajaran inovatif dengan menggunakan mind mapping . Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahap: Preliminary research, prototyping or development, dan assessment. Data penelitian berupa kuesioner, angket validasi, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil uji coba I adalah sebesar 71,88%, ujicoba II adalah sebesar 87,50%. Respon peserta didik sangat setuju pengembangan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping berbasis Power Point. Model pembelajaran Mind Mapping berbasis Power Point yang dirancang dosen memperoleh validasi ahli dengan kategori sangat baik dan layak diterapkan dalam belajar bilangan

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to provide an overview of the learning process of blended learning and studies that examine the effect of blended learning models on learning outcomes. Where this can be used as a reference in the use of blended learning models in learning science. The method used is the method of meta-analysis which was carried out through studies in a number of international and national journals in the last 3 years. Sampling using a homogeneous sampling strategy. The samples in this study were 30 international and national journals that discussed the blended learning model, which in this case focused more on the effect of the blended learning model on student learning outcomes. Data were obtained using the results summary instrument and data analysis. The results of the research show that from several studies reviewed in the last 3 years, it is stated that the blended learning model is generally effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in learning Natural Sciences. Therefore this blended learning model can be used as a learning model that can be used in science lessons at school.

Abstract

Ethnophysics is part of ethnoscience which studies and presents the relationship between physical knowledge and culture. The knowledge of physics regarding the matter of force and heat is a complex material and is widely applied in everyday life. However, some students do not like physics subjects, especially in the material of force and heat because there are many physics equations that make students bored to memorize. Therefore it is necessary to have a strategy for presenting physics material so that it is comfortable and liked by students. One of them is by being connected to the local culture. This study aimed to explore the making of Langkat pottery as a local wisdom in North Sumatra which can be used as a medium for learning physics. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and interviews. The data obtained were then analyzed, verified, and reduced then constructed into scientific knowledge and interpreted into physics concepts in class X high school physics learning. The results showed that the process of making Langkat pottery could be used as a medium for learning physics on force and heat.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model integrated with ethnoscience on student learning outcomes. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes of students taken randomly, where one class used the ethnoscience integrated PjBL model and the other class applied conventional learning methods. Data was collected through learning outcomes tests and analyzed using the t test to determine significant differences between the two groups. The research results show that the application of the ethnoscience integrated PjBL model provides a significant improvement in student learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. This research concludes that the integration of ethnoscience in PjBL learning can increase students' understanding and involvement, and encourage them to relate lesson material to the local cultural context.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang efektif harus mampu mengakomodasi keberagaman karakteristik siswa, baik dari segi kemampuan, minat, gaya belajar, maupun latar belakang budaya. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang relevan untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih personal dan adaptif. Namun, banyak guru yang masih menghadapi kendala dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan prinsip diferensiasi. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran berdiferensiasi bagi guru-guru sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional mereka. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk merancang program pelatihan yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Pelatihan ini meliputi materi tentang prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, teknik identifikasi karakteristik siswa, serta pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang adaptif. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, sehingga guru tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan teoretis tetapi juga keterampilan praktis. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap konsep diferensiasi serta kemampuan mereka dalam merancang Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan beragam siswa. Guru-guru juga menjadi lebih terampil dalam mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang responsif dan inklusif. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru di bidang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, sehingga kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dapat ditingkatkan dan tujuan pendidikan nasional dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Technology adoption plays a vital role in the digital business landscape, enabling startupreneurs to scale their businesses efficiently. In the era of the digital economy, adopting the right technologies can drive growth and enhance competitiveness. This study aims to understand how technology adoption contributes to the scaling of startupreneur business models. Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected through quantitative surveys and in-depth interviews with 200 startupreneurs. The results indicate that cloud computing, e-commerce platforms, and mobile apps are the most impactful technologies, with cloud computing driving 30% business growth and 20% cost reduction. These findings highlight the importance of strategic technology adoption for startupreneurs seeking to expand their operations. The study offers practical insights into how startupreneurs can leverage digital tools for sustainable growth, and future research should explore the long-term impacts of emerging technologies like AI and blockchain.

Abstract

Improving writing skills is as supporting factor for the success of learning carried out by each teacher. Writing ability comes from the habit of reading and analyzing problems in learning that is carried out every day. The culture of writing is still far from being a habit for teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Jorlang Hataran. Therefore, the University of HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University team has carried out a community service at SMP Negeri 3 Jorlang Hataran, Jalan Besar Parapat, Nagori Bah Sampuran. district Jorlang Hataran, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra where this service aims to socialize methods of improving English literacy skills using the problem based learning method for teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Jorlang Hataran. This service has been received with good response and was appreciated by the Principal of SMP Negeri 3 Jorlang Hataran. The results obtained from this service were 76.7% of participants who stated that they were satisfied with this service. It is hoped that with this activity, there will be a good cooperation established between the University and the school to develop the quality of teachers in order to create the higher quality education.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in diverse cultural heritage, including the traditional ULOS cloth from North Sumatra. To preserve and appreciate local culture, it is essential for student teachers to develop a deep understanding and love for that culture. The ULOS-based learning model, assisted by Augmented Reality (AR), is designed to achieve this goal. This research aims to develop a learning model based on the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, referred to as the ULOS model, to increase cultural understanding and appreciation among prospective teacher students. The study follows a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE development model. The sample includes elementary school teacher education students from UHKBPNP during the trial and effectiveness testing stages. Data collection involved expert validation sheets to assess the model suitability and test instruments to measure students love for their culture. The results demonstrate that the ULOS learning model assisted by AR, was declared valid, effective, and practical. It significantly enhanced students understanding of Batak culture and ULOS cloth, while also increasing their positive attitudes and love for local culture. The use of ULOS cloth as a teaching aid not only enriches the learning process but also strengthens cultural identity and fosters pride in Indonesia cultural heritage. The ULOS learning model is effective in enhancing cultural understanding and appreciation and has the potential to be adopted and developed in various educational and cultural contexts worldwide.

Abstract

The development of e-learning in the independent curriculum for Senior High School Students (SHS) aims to foster critical reasoning, collaboration, creativity, and inspire independent learning for each student. In accordance with the results of the research data taken from the learning interaction in class tenth of the SHS in Humbahas Regency, Avnet Academic (A2) is able to develop autonomous learning, talents, attitudes, and academic competencies. They also were able to organize their own learning management. The research result showed that they improved their self-quality and the educational quality. The series of the research patterns analyzed all interactions within the A2 which was characterized by HOTS. A2 applied to the grade ten students. The students were randomly selected as many as 500 participants. Using the A2 in learning interactions required mobile devices, Pc Computers and Laptops as access entry to serve with the various learning activity features. The features are integrated with YouTube, Google, Learning ID, school website and other internet-connected applications. The research used mixed methods as: data processing using the Excell, Amos and NVIVO applications. Research showed that t_count = 33.5 is much greater than t_table = 1.96 so it can be concluded that the A2 is not only trains English language skills but can also be integrated with other subjects so that cognitive, affective and psychomotor elements can be innovated, collaborated, evaluated and developed sustainably so as to produce students with HOTS character.
