Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberdayaan pada pengambilan keputusan kepala sekolah dari sekolah dasar swasta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk kepala sekolah dari sekolah dasar swasta di kota Bekasi dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan analisis jalur diterapkan di pengujian hipotesis. Jumlah 62 kepala sekolah sebagai sampel yang dipilih dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan: terdapat efek positif langsung pemberdayaan pada pengambilan keputusan

Abstract

Ketika ada berita bullying terhadap siswa Sekolah Dasar yang mengakibatkan kematian, hampir semua orang terkejut dan saling menyalahkan. Dunia pendidikan digugat baik Kementerian Pendidikan, pihak sekolah maupun guru yang megajar. Para orang tua juga dipertanyakan perannya dalam mendidik anak. Semua punya alasan pembenarannya sendiri-sendiri dan kenyataannya bahwa semua pihak juga punya andil besar maupun kecil terhadap bullying yang terjadi pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Kajian ini menganalisis bullying yang terjadi dan menawarkan peran guru sebagai salah satu faktor yang memiliki andil terjadinya bullying. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi mengatasi bullying melalui penerapan manajemen kelas yang efektif dalam sistem belajar mengajar di kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian penghargaan (reward) terhadap pengambilan keputusan kepala sekolah pada sekolah dasar swasta. Untuk mendapatkan keputusan kepala sekolah yang efektif dan berguna bagi peningkatan mutu pendidikan, maka diperlukan pemberian penghargaan kepada guru. Pemberian penghargaan kepada guru akan memotivasi mereka untuk berpartisipasi lebih aktif dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap kepala sekolah dalam rangka pengambilan keputusan di sekolah dasar swasta di kota Bekasi dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan analisis jalur diterapkan di pengujian hipotesis. Jumlah sampel terdiri dari 62 kepala sekolah yang dipilih dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan: Ada efek positif langsung pemberian penghargaan pada pengambilan keputusan

Abstract

Sistem Pendidikan di Indonesia telah mengatur agar masyarakat sebagai pesertadidik untuk dapat mengembangkan potensinya menjadi manusia yang beriman danbertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, kemudian berakhlak mulia, sehat,berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, serta menjadi warga negara yang demokratis danbertanggungjawab yang merupakan tujuan Pendidikan nasional. Hal ini diaturdalam Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem PendidikanNasional. Dalam mengimplementasikan Sistem Pendidikan Nasional tersebutdiatur juga ketentuan kompetensi setiap guru di Indonesia. Kompetensi ini wajibdimiliki setiap guru sebagai salah satu sub system Pendidikan yaitu kompetensipedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan professional yang diatur dalam UndangUndang Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Tetapi dalamoperasionalnya ternyata masih ada yang dirasakan kurang mewujudkan tujuanpendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan lebih dalammengenai perlunya tambahan kompetensi guru guna tercapainya tujuan pendidikansecara komprehensif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenispenelitian eksplanatif. Adapun hasil pembahasannya adalah diperlukan adanyatambahan kompetensi spiritual dari setiap guru dalam menjalankan tugasnyasebagai langkah menghasilkan ketakwaan dan keimanan peserta didik dala rangkamewujudkan tujuan Pendidikan yang lebih komprehensif.Kata kunci: Tujuan Pendidikan Nasional, Spiritual, Sosial, Profesional, Kepribadian Dan Pedagogik

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the education sector, including the execution of academic supervision in schools. This study investigates the academic supervision in two integrated Islamic elementary schools in Bekasi, Indonesia, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method employed a qualitative research design as a case study. The methodological triangulation included interviews, academic supervision observations, and document analysis used to collect data. A total of two informants were the principals from integrated Islamic elementary schools, which were purposefully chosen based on their academic supervision expertise. The data from the interviews were transcribed. Then, the data was examined using the Atlas.ti software program based on theme analysis. Following that, we carried out coding procedures and interpretation. The findings revealed that academic supervision was still carried out before the pandemic, albeit with certain limitations. Principals begin by arranging academic supervision plans and organizing a team of school supervisors. Moreover, this study highlighted a new model of applying academic supervision procedures at schools amid the pandemic.

Abstract

This is a qualitative-descriptive analytic research aims to explore cues in the Qur'an that describe the concept of multiple intelligences. In Islam, the Qur’an is a complete guide for life. Indeed, many books that talk about multiple intelligences. However, there hasn’t been a book that specifically explain multiple intelligences according to the perspective of the Qur’an. This qualitative research used a literature review (research library)—data obtained through a literary approach in library data collection. The data were then analyzed using a thematic interpretation approach (maudhu'i). The results of this study: (1) deep linguistic intelligence-Nisa: 82, Al-Baqarah: 171, Al-An'am: 50, Ali Imran: 7; (2) Logical-mathematical intelligence in Al-Waqiah: 58-59, Al-Insan: 2, Ar-Ra'du: 3, Al-Anbiya: 30, An-Nur: 43; (3) visual-spatial intelligence in Ar-Ra'du: 3, Qaf: 7-8; (4) kinesthetic intelligence in Al-Baqarah: 219, Yasin: 68; (5) musical intelligence in Asy-Syuara: 221-227; (6) intrapersonal intelligence in Adz-Dzariyat: 21, Al-Baqarah: 44, Yasin: 62, Al-Mulk: 10; (7) interpersonal intelligence in Ar-Rum: 21, Al-Baqarah: 76, Ali Imran: 118; (8) naturalist intelligence in Al-Baqarah: 164, An-Nahl: 11, An-Nahl: 69, Al-Ghasyiyah: 17; (9) existentialist intelligence in Yunus: 24, Az-Zumar: 42, Al-Baqarah: 269. Abstract

Academic supervision stands out as a commendable initiative designed to aid and bolster teachers in executing their responsibilities within the school setting. Moreover, numerous challenges and hindrances faced by educators are tackled through the implementation of academic supervision activities. This research aims to explore teachers' experiences undergoing academic supervision and the supervisors' support to overcome teacher problems and improve their performance. Researchers used qualitative research methods with an exploratory case study approach. Data was obtained from semi-structured interviews. The informants were four teachers at two integrated Islamic elementary schools in Bekasi, Indonesia, who were selected based on their extensive experience in carrying out school academic supervision. The resulting data was analyzed thematically using Atlas.ti software. The findings reveal that academic supervision is incredibly beneficial for teachers. It does not only assess teacher performance but also helps teachers solve problems to improve teacher performance. Teachers also received many support programs to improve the quality of learning in their schools.

Abstract

Job appraisal is a crucial component in human resource management that functions to evaluate employee performance while supporting strategic decision-making, such as promotion, training, and incentives. This study discusses the role, methods, challenges, and impact of job appraisal on employee productivity and development in organizations. The methods reviewed include 360-degree assessment and competency-based assessment, which have been proven to provide comprehensive evaluations and support individual competency improvement according to organizational needs. This study also identifies several key challenges, such as rater bias, lack of transparency, and employee resistance to the assessment process. To overcome these challenges, assessor training, the application of data-based technology, and open and inclusive communication are recommended strategic steps. In addition, employee involvement in the assessment process through discussion and two-way feedback has been shown to increase trust and participation in the evaluation process. The results of the study indicate that systematically and objectively designed job appraisals can significantly improve employee productivity, motivation, and development. In addition, effective job appraisals are an integral part of a sustainable human resource development strategy, encouraging the creation of an inclusive, collaborative work culture, and supporting the achievement of the organization's strategic goals.

Abstract

Education is the main basis for building quality human resources, and quality education will give birth to a superior generation, so the key is that competent educators are needed. This research aims to determine the strategies implemented in developing human resources for teaching staff at MTs Annida Al Islamy East Bekasi, which includes developing teachers' pedagogical, personality, social and professional competencies in improving the quality of education at MTs Annida Al Islamy East Bekasi. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, informant interviews and documentation studies. The results of the research show that the human resource development strategy for teaching staff includes aspects of developing teacher pedagogical, personality, social and professional competence through (1) training and workshops, (2) mentoring and spiritual guidance activities, (3) social activities with students and parents, and all school members (4) curriculum development training, subject teacher discussion forums (MGMP), continuous professional training (PKB), educational technology workshops, direction, motivation and appreciation for outstanding teachers, provision of comprehensive scholarships to children of educators studying at MTs. Annida Al Islamy East Bekasi. The impact is to produce students who excel, are intelligent, have noble character and become superior madrasas. One of the constraining factors in developing human resources (HR) for teaching staff at MTs Annida Al Islamy, East Bekasi is the existence of senior teachers who do not understand information technology (IT), so they need intensive coaching and motivation to continually make themselves better at adapting. with the challenges of the times to realize educational ideals.
