Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran Matematika melalui penerapan game edukasi berbasis Wordwall di kelas III SD Negeri 80/I Batang Hari. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media interaktif ini berhasil meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 64 pada pratindakan menjadi 82 pada siklus II, dengan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 87,5%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa game edukasi berbasis Wordwall efektif dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media, pendidikan, dan teknologi dalam pelestarian budaya lokal di tengah tantangan globalisasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif, mengkaji berbagai penelitian empiris dari jurnal-jurnal ilmiah nasional yang relevan pada rentang waktu 2020–2025. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial dan teknologi digital memiliki peran ganda: sebagai ancaman melalui fenomena homogenisasi budaya, namun sekaligus menjadi alat efektif dalam revitalisasi budaya lokal. Pendidikan berbasis glokalisasi terbukti meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap identitas budaya mereka, sedangkan teknologi digital seperti Google Arts & Culture dan YouTube membantu mengarsipkan dan mendistribusikan konten budaya secara luas. Media hiperlokal, komunitas digital, dan strategi adaptif masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa resistensi terhadap budaya global dapat diwujudkan melalui integrasi kreatif tanpa menghilangkan esensi lokal. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan pelestarian budaya di era global sangat tergantung pada sinergi antara pemanfaatan teknologi dan penguatan nilai lokal, serta kebijakan budaya yang inklusif dan partisipatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi baca tulis siswa kelas III SD melalui penggunaan media flashcard digital berbasis aplikasi Quizlet. Latar belakang penelitian menunjukkan rendahnya keterampilan membaca dan menulis siswa serta kurangnya motivasi belajar akibat metode konvensional yang kurang interaktif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam dua siklus, penelitian ini menerapkan strategi pembelajaran berbasis media digital interaktif untuk mengatasi kesenjangan penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran literasi dasar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek “menemukan informasi” dari 69% menjadi 88%, “memahami isi bacaan” dari 65% menjadi 85%, dan “evaluasi bacaan” dari 62% menjadi 77%. Rata-rata nilai literasi meningkat dari 67% (pretest) menjadi 83% (post-test), sementara partisipasi aktif siswa mencapai 85%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa Quizlet efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterlibatan siswa secara simultan. Interpretasi hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital berbasis visual dan audio mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, sesuai gaya belajar siswa, serta mendukung pembelajaran abad ke-21. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi media Quizlet secara lebih luas dalam kurikulum Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat dasar sebagai inovasi pembelajaran yang aplikatif dan berdampak positif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the mind mapping method on the learning process of creative thinking in IPAS (Science and Social Science) in the topic "Let's Get to Know Our Earth," and to identify the stages of the creative thinking learning process. The research was conducted at SDN 197/IV Kota Jambi in Grade V. This study uses a quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental design. Data collection techniques were carried out by administering essay tests. The data were then processed to compare the final measurements of the experimental class and the control class. The results of the study showed that the learning process of creative thinking in IPAS using the Mind Mapping method in Grade V was more effective than using the direct instruction method. The average final score obtained through the Mind Mapping method was 81.47, while the direct instruction method yielded an average score of 67.50. Based on the t-test, the calculated t-value (tₕ = 6.599) was greater than the t-table value (tₜ = 1.679). According to the test criteria, this indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, confirming a significant difference between the mind mapping method and the direct instruction method. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that learning using the mind mapping method can enhance the creative thinking learning process in IPAS for Grade V students. Therefore, it can be used as an alternative teaching method for IPAS.

Abstract

Learning devices are key elements in ensuring that the teaching and learning process occurs effectively and systematically. With continuous curriculum changes, teachers are required to review and update their learning devices to maintain relevance to contemporary educational needs. This study aims to describe the training on learning device development for teachers at SD Negeri 100/VI Pamenang II, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province, which employs the Transfer of Knowledge (ToK) methodology. This training provides professional development for teacher competencies in developing learning devices that encompass teaching modules, instructional materials, learning media, student worksheets (LKPD), and assessment instruments. The interactive and participatory Transfer of Knowledge methodology enables teachers not only to update their knowledge but also to develop practical skills required for classroom instruction. The training outcomes demonstrate improvement in teacher competencies for developing learning devices that align with the independent curriculum in the planning dimension. This training is anticipated to yield long-term impacts in enhancing educational quality through more competent teachers and more effective learning devices that are relevant to student needs.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, the need for digital integration in teacher learning is becoming increasingly urgent. Teachers are no longer the primary source of knowledge, but rather managers and sophisticated instructors in the use of technology such as wordwalls in a more effective, efficient, and interactive learning process. Wordwall training is an alternative in efforts to improve the quality of teacher learning, especially in Jambi City. This Wordwall training was conducted at SDN 205/IV Jambi City, which had 53 teachers. Based on teacher experience data, the results obtained were a satisfaction level increase of 40% of participants feeling "very satisfied" from the previous 33% to 62% answering "very satisfied." Furthermore, 27% of respondents answered "satisfied", the remaining 10% of respondents answered "neutral", and 1% of respondents answered "less satisfied". After participating in this training, we saw an improvement. In addition, teachers who were very enthusiastic about participating in their activities became more courageous in carefully integrating various digital tools into lesson plans. This activity is useful in supporting teacher creativity in digital learning, improving teacher pedagogical competence, and producing a wordwall media bank system that can be used sustainably.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah membawa dampak signifikan di berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Salah satu bentuk inovasi dalam pembelajaran adalah penggunaan media interaktif, seperti Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) interaktif melalui platform Liveworksheet. Namun, banyak guru mengalami kendala dalam membuat media interaktif karena keterbatasan pengetahuan teknis, akses perangkat lunak, serta waktu. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdian dari Universitas Jambi menyelenggarakan pelatihan pembuatan LKPD IPA interaktif untuk guru SD Negeri 236/IX Aur Duri. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran melalui Liveworksheet. Kegiatan pelatihan terdiri dari pengenalan platform, uji coba LKPD yang telah disediakan, praktik merancang LKPD interaktif, serta pengisian angket respon peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap penggunaan media interaktif dan motivasi untuk menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat membantu guru menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan efektif bagi siswa.

Abstract

Amid global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and the development of digital technology, the younger generation has a very strategic role in shaping a more inclusive, critical, and sustainable global perspective. This article aims to examine the contribution of the younger generation in building global awareness through education, utilization of digital media, and involvement in social activism. Using a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this study reveals that global education is able to instill cross-cultural values and social responsibility from an early age. On the other hand, digital literacy provides space for young people to become active actors in the dissemination of constructive global narratives. Their participation in various social movements also shows concern for humanitarian and environmental issues. However, challenges such as inequality in access to education, digital disinformation, and lack of participatory space are still obstacles. Therefore, synergy is needed between educational institutions, government, and society to create an ecosystem that supports the role of the younger generation as agents of global change.

Abstract

Global education is becoming increasingly relevant in facing the challenges of the 21st century, including in the context of learning in elementary schools (SD). However, its implementation still faces various obstacles at the elementary education unit level. This article discusses five main issues that hinder the integration of global education in elementary schools, namely: (1) lack of teacher understanding of the concept and urgency of global education, (2) limited learning resources that support globally-oriented teaching, (3) dominance of local curricula that have minimal relevance to international issues, (4) difficulty in simplifying global issues to suit the characteristics of elementary school-age students, and (5) minimal training and policy support to strengthen teacher capacity. Through a literature review approach and reflective analysis of educational practices in Indonesia, this article highlights the importance of policy reform, improving teacher competence, and providing contextual learning resources so that global education can be implemented early on. It is hoped that this article will be an initial contribution to strengthening global education that is in line with the characteristics of elementary education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penggunaan LKPD digital menghadirkan inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mejelaskan prosedur pengembangan, tingkat validitas dan tingkat kepraktisan LKPD elektronik berbasis liveworksheet pada materi ekosistem untuk peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 23 peserta didik kelas V SDN 76/IX Mendalo Darat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, validasi ketiga ahli memperoleh presentase gabungan sebesar 93,29% sehingga masuk ke dalam kategori sangat layak. Tingkat kepraktisan yang dinilai oleh praktisi, mendapatkan rata-rata persentase sebesar 98,33%, yang masuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Hasil dari angket respon pendidik pada uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan persentase sebesar 89,70%, dengan kategori sangat praktis, sementara uji coba kelompok besar mendapatkan rata-rata persentase sebesar 87,85%, juga dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD elektronik berbasis liveworksheet pada materi ekosistem untuk kelas V di sekolah dasar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
