Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi lapisan bumi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D, yang terdiri dari tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan(develop),dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Penelitiani ni bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan rancangan vidio animasi pembelajaran (2)Mendeskripsikan hasil validasi pengembangan vidio animasi,dan (3)Mengetaui ekfektifitas vidio animasi pembelajaran yang dikembangankan. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara dan pengisian angket. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) evaluasi penggunaan media yang dilakukan oleh pakar media dan pakar material termasuk dalam klasifikasi yang sangat andal; 2) penerimaan dari peserta didik dan pendidik terhadap media pembelajaran yang baru dibuat sangat positif sehingga media dianggap sangat fungsional; 3) Tingkat dorongan pendidikan di antara kelas yang menggunakan media animasi (MA) melampaui kelas yang tidak menggunakan media animasi (TMA) pendidikan berbasis video animasi yang dibuat melalui model 4D telah terbukti valid, fungsional, dan efisien untuk tujuan pendidikan.

Abstract

Di tengah cepatnya perubahan zaman, anak-anak Sekolah Dasar dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan, seperti makin pudarnya kecintaan terhadap budaya sendiri, keterbatasan dalam mengakses teknologi, serta rendahnya motivasi belajar dan pemahaman tentang dunia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari tahu bagaimana prinsip dan praktik pendidikan global dapat diterapkan di sekolah dasar guna menjawab tantangan-tantangan tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur dari berbagai jurnal yang relevan, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan global bisa menjadi jembatan penting dalam membentuk cara berpikir siswa yang lebih terbuka, memperkuat karakter, dan menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan pendidikan global yang berpijak pada nilai-nilai lokal dapat menjadi langkah nyata untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna bagi generasi muda.

Abstract

Cognitive abilities are very important for students to master because they relate to students' way of thinking at various cognitive levels. The facts that occur in the field are that teachers only train cognitive abilities up to understanding level (C2), students' cognitive ability scores are low, and students are rarely involved in practical activities. For this reason, it is necessary to address how to improve students' cognitive abilities. The scientific approach and integrated science learning are considered to be able to improve students' cognitive abilities. Integrated science learning is science learning that is holistic and meaningful for students so that it is easier to understand. Apart from that, a scientific approach can be presented using experimental methods. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effect of the scientific approach in integrated science learning on students' cognitive abilities. This research uses a weak experimental design method, the one group pretest-posttest design type. The research was conducted at one of the state junior high schools in Bandung City with 25 class VII H students as samples. The research instruments used were pretest and posttest cognitive ability questions. The pretest and posttest results of students' cognitive abilities were analyzed using the paired t-test, obtaining a significance value of 0.0005 on sig. (2-tailed), this shows that the scientific approach in integrated science learning with the webbed model has a significant effect on increasing students' cognitive abilities. ABSTRAKKemampuan kognitif sangat penting untuk dikuasai oleh siswa karena berkaitan dengan cara berfikir siswa dalam berbagai tingkatan kognitif. Fakta yang terjadi di lapangan, guru hanya melatihkan kemampuan kognitif sampai level memahami (C2), skor kemampuan kognitif siswa rendah, dan siswa jarang dilibatkan pada kegiatan praktikum. Untuk itu perlu diatasi bagaimana untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa. Pendekatan saintifik dan pembelajaran IPA terpadu dianggap dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa. Pembelajaran IPA terpadu merupakan pembelajaran IPA yang holistik dan bermakna bagi siswa sehingga lebih mudah untuk dipahami. Selain itu pendekatan saintifik bisa disajikan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan weak experimental tipe the one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung dengan 25 orang siswa kelas VII H sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal pretest dan posttest kemampuan kognitif. Hasil pretest dan posttest kemampuan kognitif siswa dianalisis menggunakan uji paired t-test didapat nilai signifikansi 0,0005 pada sig. (2-tailed), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu model webbed secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini bertujuan untuk melihat serta mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berkomunikasi Siswa pada Pembelajaran Matematika Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 73/IX Simpang Sungai Duren pada kelas V. Bentuk pada penelidian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas atau PTK. Data pada penelitian ini didapat dengan cara melaksanakan observasi serta wawancara. Sesudah itu data dianalisis secara kualitatif serta kuantitatif. Penelitian ini diberlangsungkan dalam dua siklus, dengan empat tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi. Berdasrkan hasil penelitian sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa pada pembelajaran matematika bisa meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan setiap siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam keterampilan berkomunikasi dengan memperhatikan indikator keterampilan berkomunikasi pada saat aktivitas pembelajaran yang bisa dilihat dalam setiap siklus pertemuan. Hasil dari siklus I pertemuan pertama memperoleh presentase sebesar 56,10% dengan kategori “Rendah”, sedangkan dalam siklus I pertemuan kedua didapatkan presentase yakni 62,80% dengan kategori “Sedang” dengan peningkatan sebesar 6,7%. Dalam siklus II pertemuan pertama didapat persentase sebesar 73,40% dengan kategori “Tinggi” dimana terdapat kenaikan sebesar 10,6%, serta untuk siklus II pertemuan kedua mendapatkan persentase yakni 79% berada dalam kategori “Tinggi” dengan kenaikan sebesar 5,6%. Hasil dalam pertemuan kedua siklus II sudah menggapai persentase perolehan indikator keberhasilan, yakni 70%. Melalui hasil penelitian ini bisa ditarik sebuah kesimpulan bahwasanya Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share bisa Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berkomunikasi Siswa pada Pembelajaran Matematika Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Hal tersebut mampu dibuktikan dengan terjadinya peningkatan tiap indikator keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa pada setiap siklus pertemuannya.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the types of difficulties students face in writing poetry in fifth grade elementary school, the causes of these difficulties, and the strategies implemented by teachers to address students' challenges in writing poetry. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 110/I Tenam from August 9, 2024, to September 9, 2024. The researchers used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The research respondents are the students of class VB and the teacher of class VB at SD Negeri 110/I Tenam. The data collection methods in this research are observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of this research reveal the types of difficulties students face in writing poetry, namely: difficulties in formulating ideas/themes, difficulties in arranging vocabulary, difficulties in creating figurative sentences, difficulties in using rhyme, and difficulties in the structure of poetry writing. The causes of students experiencing difficulties in writing poetry can be attributed to two factors: internal factors, which include a lack of understanding of poetry writing, insufficient language skills, a lack of practice in writing poetry, and a lack of motivation to write poetry. Meanwhile, external factors include conventional teaching methods, less engaging learning media, underutilization of libraries, and a lack of support from the family environment. The strategies implemented by teachers to address students' difficulties in writing poetry are: providing motivation to students, offering poetry writing exercises, and guiding students in learning how to write poetry.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning motivation in the Indonesian language subject through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model supported by audio-visual media in grade IV at SDN 112/I Perumnas. The background of this research is the low level of student motivation, as indicated by a lack of interest, enthusiasm, responsibility, and satisfaction in participating in the learning process. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data were collected through observations based on five indicators of learning motivation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students’ motivation after the implementation of the PBL model with audio-visual media support. In the pre-action stage, the average motivation was in the low category with a percentage of 49%. After the first cycle, it increased to 60.8% (moderate category), and in the second cycle, it rose to 81.25% (good category). The application of the PBL model encouraged students to be more active, interested, and responsible in learning activities, while audio-visual media helped enhance students’ understanding and interest in the subject matter. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model supported by audio-visual media is effective in improving students’ learning motivation and is recommended as an innovative learning strategy for primary education.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning activeness through the implementation of the cooperative learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT) in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade III students at SDN 186/I Sridadi. The research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 16 third-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the TGT model significantly increased student learning activeness. In Cycle I, student activeness was categorized as "low," with only 12.5% of students actively participating. After improvements were made in Cycle II, the number of active students increased to 87.5%, with overall activeness rated as "good." The TGT model, which integrates elements of games, teamwork, and competition, effectively created an engaging and collaborative learning environment that encouraged student participation. Thus, the TGT model proved effective as an alternative instructional strategy to enhance student engagement in IPAS lessons and other subjects at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ nonfiction reading comprehension skills through the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the Talking Stick type in Grade V at SDN 80/I, Muara Bulian District. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the Talking Stick model can improve students' learning outcomes in reading comprehension of nonfiction texts. This is evidenced by an increase in the average student score from 64.5 in cycle I to 75 in cycle II. In addition, there was an increase in students’ active participation in learning activities, especially in discussing, expressing opinions, and understanding the content of the reading. This model also creates a more enjoyable and collaborative learning atmosphere. Therefore, the cooperative learning model of the Talking Stick type is effectively used to improve nonfiction reading comprehension skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve student engagement in mathematics learning by implementing the “Pulau Pengurangan” board game as a learning media through the Cooperative Learning Model, Make A Match type. The classroom action research was conducted in grade II of SDN 111/1 Muara Bulian during April–May 2025, consisting of two cycles, each with two meetings. Data were collected through observations based on three indicators: enthusiasm in learning, willingness to answer questions, and effort to solve problems. The results showed a significant improvement in students' learning activity. Initially, in the pre-action stage, engagement was only 46.88%. After implementing the action, it increased to 55% in Cycle I (meeting II), and finally reached 70% in Cycle II (meeting II). This study concludes that using the Pulau Pengurangan board game effectively enhances students’ active participation in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the differentiated approach in addressing disparities in students’ understanding of multiplication material in Grade III at SDN 34/I Teratai. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the spiral model of Kemmis and McTaggart, consisting of two cycles, with a total of 23 student participants. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the differentiated approach significantly improved students’ understanding, as indicated by an increase in the average score from 68.20 in the first cycle to 82.60 in the second cycle, and an increase in classical learning completeness from 56% to 80%. This approach effectively accommodated differences in students’ learning styles, interests, and readiness, thus positively impacting learning outcomes. Therefore, implementing a differentiated approach is a viable alternative strategy to create inclusive and effective learning environments.
