Abstract

In addition to assessing the degree of satisfaction with the services offered by the streaming application to its customers, this study seeks to identify the elements that motivate streaming application users in Indonesia to renew their subscriptions in the coming months. The research model employed in this study is the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), which also includes variables for content, ethics, and morality in addition to the variables for the expectation-confirmation model (ECM), specifically satisfaction and intention to continue. This study uses a quantitative method with data analysis using the PLS-SEM method with the help of SmartPLS. According to the study's findings, a number of factors influence how likely users of streaming applications are to renew their subscriptions in the months to come, including content, performance expectations, facilitating conditions, hedonic incentive, price value, habit, morals, and ethics. The findings of this study are anticipated to be taken into account when streaming applications decide whether or not to expand in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the acceptance of the use of mobile banking applications and analyze the factors that influence their acceptance. The models proposed in this study are the UTAUT and Delone & McLean integration models. The criteria for respondents in this study were mobile banking users for at least 4 months and using purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM approach. In this study, 5 of the 8 hypotheses were accepted. Then, the factors that affect the acceptance of mobile banking users are obtained, namely performance expectancy, social influence, service quality, and information quality. Then the factors that do not affect user acceptance are effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and system quality. The findings of this study are that 78.3% of users accept that they want to use mobile banking in the future and recommend it to mobile banking developers in the hope that in the future the application will be easier to understand, compatible with all smartphone systems that are used by many people, and system quality will be improved to minimize constraints on the application.

Abstract

The university has an academic information system called AIS, of which students are one of the main users. Based on the results of the questionnaire from previous research, it has been proven that the AIS display still needs development. This research develops the UI/UX of AIS to better suit the needs of users with the UCD method. Starting from planning agreements with parties related to research, determining the context by interviewing parties who agreed in the first stage, determining needs with questionnaires to users, using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to determine the results, designing a prototype based on the results of the third step, and UI/UX evaluation, which is carried out using the same method when evaluating the UI/UX AIS running in the third stage to prove whether there has been a significant improvement or not. The evaluation results show that there is an increase in UI/UX, and based on statistical tests, there is a significant difference between the current UI/UX AIS and the UI/UX AIS being developed. In the process of evaluation and statistical tests, even though the SUS calculation results were still marginal, the two AIS questionnaire results proved to have significant differences. So that the results of this study can be accepted, improvements can be made in the future.

Abstract

In an era characterized by dynamic shifts in the field of education, the pursuit of effective teaching remains a prominent objective. This study investigates a novel methodology that integrates hybrid synchronous and asynchronous methods to enhance students' English language speaking skills in the context of English language instruction. This study commences by underscoring the significance of possessing proficient English-speaking skills. Dynamic learning encompasses a combination of real-time interactions and exercises that can be completed at different times. The objective of this study is to elucidate the perspectives of educators towards the integration of hybrid synchronous and asynchronous methodologies in the instruction of English language skills, specifically in the context of speaking classes. Educators in high school or vocational settings ought to use a blended approach to English language instruction, specifically in the context of speaking courses. The research employed a descriptive case study approach. The study incorporated participants who were engaged in semi-structured interviews that encompassed questionnaires administered with high rates of close-ended responses. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant impact of social and psychological elements on teachers' proficiency in online communication. The ramifications of these findings are of great importance for educators in the field of English language instruction. The utilization of hybrid synchronous and asynchronous approaches has the potential to enhance students' oral communication abilities within the classroom setting. In summary, the hybrid approach to English instruction, encompassing both ongoing and non-ongoing components, involves the inclusion of proficient-speaking teachers and actively engaged students in speaking-focused sessions.
