Abstract

This study aims to examine the link between audit fees and the following variables: 1) the number of audit committee meetings; 2) the size of the internal audit; 3) the number of internal audit assignments; and 4) the number of branches. This study is an example of causal associative research, a kind of quantitative research that uses secondary data acquired from research sample websites. According to the study's findings, audit fees are influenced by the following factors in the following orders: 1) the size of the internal audit has an effect on audit fees; 2) the number of internal audit assignments has no effect on audit fees; and 4) the number of branches has an effect on audit fees.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus pada peningkatan kompetensi siswa kelas 10 Pemasaran SMKN 1 Kendari dalam menyusun Curriculum Vitae (CV) profesional.  Sebanyak 21 siswa mengikuti pelatihan yang menekankan pembuatan CV berbasis pemrograman, sebuah pendekatan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan CV terstruktur, mudah diubah, dan bebas dari kesalahan penulisan manual.  Metode pelatihan yang diterapkan memadukan penyampaian materi secara ceramah dengan pendekatan team teaching, memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk berinteraksi dan berkolaborasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Kurikulum pelatihan mencakup pengenalan konsep pemrograman dasar yang relevan dengan pembuatan CV, desain web sederhana untuk tampilan CV yang menarik, serta strategi penyusunan CV yang efektif dan sesuai standar profesional.  Praktik langsung dan bimbingan individual diberikan untuk memastikan setiap siswa mampu mengaplikasikan ilmu yang didapat dan menyelesaikan CV mereka masing-masing.  Hal ini bertujuan untuk membekali mereka dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk bersaing di dunia kerja. Evaluasi program dilakukan melalui observasi partisipasi siswa selama pelatihan, serta penilaian terhadap hasil akhir berupa CV yang mereka buat.  Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini relevan dan bermanfaat bagi siswa, meningkatkan kemampuan dan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam menyusun CV yang kompetitif.  Keberhasilan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan peluang kerja para siswa di masa depan.

Abstract

This research, starting from the frame of mind that Audit of Technology Information Governance on Enterprise  information system using COBIT 2019 is an important thing to do now and the future to align information technology investment with Enterprise Goals. COBIT 2019 framework provides realization of the benefits of implementation information systems, optimizing risks and optimizing resources according to Enterprise needs. Design factor of COBIT 2019 can determine the domains that must be assessed for their maturity level, so that companies can find out what needs to be improved in implementing information systems. This research is focus to the EDM02 and APO04 with expected maturity level 5. The EDM02 domain focuses on the process of optimizing the business value contribution of business processes, IT Service and IT assets resulting from investments made by IT in accordance with acceptable cost for the Enterprise. APO04 domain, it aims to organize and manage innovation by increasing operational efficiency in companies with the latest technology.

Abstract

Modern society does not have much time and adequate rest. The high demands of work and limited time make them trapped in stress. As a result, many people experience various health problems. One of these diseases is rheumatism. Rheumatism or rheumatoid arthritis is a condition that can cause pain, swelling and a burning sensation in the joints. This activity has the benefit of increasing community knowledge and skills in the hope of creating community independence so that the elderly can be healthy, independent, active and productive. This activity uses a participatory model that involves community components such as village heads, elderly cadres and the community, especially the elderly. The number of participants was 30 people. The location of this community service was carried out in the Ujung Gurap Village Hall, Padangsidimpuan Batunadua District, Padangsidimpuan City. This type of service is health promotion by providing information, demonstrating the use and use of lily leaves. The methods used in this activity include providing information, demonstrations, training, discussions and questions and answers. The media used in this activity are leaflets, guidebooks and ppt slides. The final result that can be seen from this training activity is that the majority of people are able to know the materials and tools needed to practice using daffodil leaves and know exactly the steps needed in the process of using them. The community looked orderly and in accordance with what was directed by the team in this activity. The activity of practicing the use of lily leaves to relieve rheumatic pain in the elderly in Ujung Gurap Village was successfully carried out.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to investigate the effect of implementing the Project Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the development of students' tolerant character in the educational environment.Method – The research method used was an experiment with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample consisted of two randomly selected class groups: an experimental group that received PBL and a control group that received conventional learning. Data was collected through questions, questionnaires, and documentation. Hypotheses were tested using t-tests.Findings – The research results indicate a significant positive influence of the Project Based Learning (PBL) model on developing students' tolerance. The control class's mean score is 73.40, while the experimental class's mean score is 80.70, suggesting that the control class has sufficient tolerance, whereas the experimental class shows good tolerance. The significance value obtained is 0.000, confirming the influence of the PBL model. The experimental group demonstrated a higher increase in tolerance compared to the control group. These findings suggest that PBL is an effective approach for fostering students' tolerant character in schools. Research Implications – These findings underscore the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PBL) model in fostering students' tolerance. Implementing PBL can enhance character education in schools by promoting peace, respect for individual differences, and social awareness in the classroom. PBL also improves students' communication skills in project tasks, leading to better learning outcomes. It is recommended to provide guidance and training for teachers on PBL implementation, ensuring they have adequate support and resources for effective application.

Abstract

This abstract aims to analyze the process of Islamic education reform in three Middle Eastern countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey, which face challenges in balancing the preservation of traditional Islamic values and the need for modernization based on science and technology. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature review to explore educational policies and socio-political dynamics that influence the transformation of Islamic education in the three countries. The findings reveal that Saudi Arabia, through its Vision 2030, focuses on moderating religious teachings and reforming the curriculum to create a globally competitive generation. Egypt attempts to integrate Al-Azhar education with the secular education system despite facing epistemological dualism. Turkey strengthens Islamic education through Imam Hatip schools under a secular state framework. This study identifies that the success of educational reform is greatly influenced by political and ideological contexts and the readiness of human resources. The implications of this study include the importance of curriculum flexibility and teacher training to respond to the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

Ørsted, sebagai pemain utama di sektor energi terbarukan global, telah melakukan investasi besar dalam energi angin dan solusi berkelanjutan lainnya. Artikel ini menyajikan analisis keuangan menyeluruh tentang Ørsted, dengan fokus pada kesehatan keuangan perusahaan, potensi pertumbuhan, dan keberlanjutan operasional jangka panjang. Dengan mengevaluasi metrik keuangan utama, termasuk profitabilitas, tren pendapatan, dan arus kas, studi ini mengungkapkan kemampuan Ørsted untuk menghadapi tantangan seperti fluktuasi harga energi dan regulasi lingkungan yang terus berkembang. Selain itu, artikel ini juga meneliti bagaimana pendekatan strategis Ørsted dalam manajemen risiko, serta ekspansi proyek energi angin lepas pantai, memposisikan perusahaan untuk pertumbuhan di masa depan. Analisis ini juga mempertimbangkan dampak lebih luas dari kinerja keuangan Ørsted dalam industri energi terbarukan dan perannya dalam mencapai tujuan keberlanjutan global. Berdasarkan analisis ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ørsted telah menunjukkan kemampuan yang kuat dalam mengelola keuangannya di tengah tantangan industri. Dengan strategi yang solid dan kinerja yang konsisten, Ørsted memiliki stabilitas keuangan yang baik serta prospek pertumbuhan yang menjanjikan.

Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada pembahasan mengenai perbedaan di dalam penerapan praktik akuntansi yang terjadi di Asia dan benua Amerika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami perbedaan dan kesamaan dalam regulasi serta praktik akuntansi di Asia dan Benua Amerika melalui analisis mengenai sejarah, landasan hukum, organisasi, standar akuntansi, sertifikasi, dan praktik akuntansi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari data sekunder yang sudah tersedia dari artikel dan karya ilmiah di situs pencarian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan perkembangan sejarah akuntansi dan landasan hukum mengenai keberadaan awal terbentuknya komite akuntansi pada Asia dan Benua Amerika. Selain itu, standar PSAK Asia dan standar GAAP di Benua Amerika juga memiliki perbedaan dari segi properti investasi, metode inventaris, pendekatan basis, pembalikan kerugian penurunan nilai, penilaian aset tetap, dan biaya pengembangan.

Abstract

This study explores the phenomena of objectification and scientification in religious life in Indonesia, focusing specifically on the province of Aceh, where Islamic Sharia is fully implemented. Building on Kuntowijoyo's insights into the transformation of the Indonesian Muslim community, this research employs a phenomenological approach to understand the perceptions of the Banda Aceh community regarding governmental involvement in religious regulation. Data were collected using qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews with diverse community groups. The findings reveal that the majority of the Aceh community supports the implementation of Islamic Sharia, which has become an integral part of their daily lives. However, criticisms from young intellectuals have been identified, highlighting potential issues in the Sharia application that may sideline minority rights and divert attention from crucial social issues such as poverty and unemployment. These results provide a critical perspective on the discourse surrounding the implementation of Islamic Sharia in Aceh and its social and political implications.Abstrak: Penelitian ini meneliti bagaimana objektifikasi dan ilmu mempengaruhi praktik keagamaan dengan fokus khusus pada provinsi Aceh yang menerapkan syariat Islam secara menyeluruh. Berlandaskan pandangan Kuntowijoyo tentang transformasi masyarakat Islam Indonesia, studi ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis untuk memahami persepsi masyarakat Banda Aceh terhadap keterlibatan pemerintah dalam regulasi keagamaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode kualitatif, mencakup wawancara mendalam dengan berbagai kelompok masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas masyarakat Aceh mendukung penerapan syariat Islam, yang telah menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, teridentifikasi pula kritik dari pemikir muda yang menyoroti penerapan syariat yang berpotensi mengesampingkan hak-hak minoritas serta mengalihkan fokus dari isu sosial penting seperti kemiskinan dan pengangguran. Temuan ini menambahkan perspektif kritis terhadap diskursus tentang penerapan syariat Islam di Aceh, serta implikasi sosial dan politik yang menyertainya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of knowledge on saving preferences in Sharia banks and to determine the role of religiosity in moderating knowledge of saving preferences in Sharia banks. The approach is quantitative research. The research subjects were Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) Cadres in Percut Sei Tuan District. The results of this study indicate that the results of multiple linear regression analysis with the use of Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) partially indicate that the knowledge variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on saving preferences in Sharia bank, while the moderating variable, namely religiosity (Z) has an effect positive and significant towards saving preferences (Y) in Sharia banks. The variable multiplication between the independent variable and the moderating variable is PR (Knowledge x Religiosity) where the religiosity variable moderates by weakening the relationship between the knowledge variable and the preference variable for saving in Sharia banks. Religion is not able to moderate the effect of knowledge on saving preferences in Sharia banks. The results of multiple linear regression analysis with the simultaneous use of Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) show that simultaneously influencing the dependent variable, namely the preference for saving in Sharia bank with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05 and calculated F value =1748,102 and F table =3,939, so 1748.102>3,939. Factor variations based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis with the use of Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) that each variable is able to explain, variation of Preferences for Saving in Sharia bank of 98.1%. Meanwhile, another 1.9% is influenced by other variables outside the model.
