Abstract

Manajemen asuhan keperawatan merupakan koordinasi dari sumber keperawatan dengan menerapkan proses mana-jemen untuk mencapai asuhan keperawatan yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen asuhan keperawatan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif. Karakteristik informan kunci adalah kepala bidang keperawatan dan perawat, sedangkan karakteristik Informan triangulasi adalah Kepala ruangan dan Komite keperawatan. Analisis data penelitian ini yaitu deskriftif kualitatif dengan tahapan data reduc-tion, data display, dan conculution or verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan fungsi perencanaan belum berjalan dengan baik, fungsi pengorganisasian menunjukkan bahwa perawat tidak mendapatkan penugasan/wewenang secara baik, fungsi pengarahan yang dibuat belum berjalan efektif, fungsi pengawasan belum dilakukan secara baik dan benar serta fungsi pengendalian masih juga belum terlaksana dengan baik. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah fungsi perencanaan yang dibuat tidak berjalan dengan baik, fungsi pengorganisasian tidak efektif, fungsi pengarahan belum berjalan efektif, fungsi pengawasan tidak dilakukan secara benar dan fungsi pengendalian belum terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat kepatuhan perawat IGD terhadap SPO dalam pelaksanaan setiap tindakan keperawatan dapat berdampak ter-hadap penurunan mutu pelayanan rumah sakit dan dapat menimbulkan hambatan terhadap perkembangan profesi keperawatan. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang peneliti lakukan melalui observasi langsung, terdapat 2 dari 3 perawat yang bekerja tidak sesuai dengan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis Kepatuhan Perawat Terhadap Penggunaan SPO Keperawatan Di IGD RSUD Kota Subulussalam Tahun 2018. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Informan kunci yaitu Kepala Ruangan IGD, dan Kabid Keperawatan se-dangkan Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perawat diruang IGD yang berjumlah 12 orang. Teknik analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 8 dari 12 tindakan yang dilakukan sesuai dengan SPO dan mayoritas dari hasil wawancara dengan informan utama rata-rata dari mereka sudah menerap-kan SPO dalam melakukan tindakan keperawatan, sedangkan dari informan kunci yaitu Kepala Ruangan IGD mengatakan pelaksanaan SPO di ruang IGD sudah berjalan dengan baik, akan tetapi berdasarkan hasil pengamatan jika ada pasien emergency SPO tidak sepenuhnya berjalan. Kesimpulan rata-rata informan sudah mengetahui tentang SPO dan hasil pengamatan langsung dengan observasi tentang Kepatuhan Perawat Terhadap Penggunaan SPO yaitu 8 dari 12 tindakan yang dilakukan sesuai dengan SPO. Diharapkan adanya tindak lanjut dari manajemen RSUD Kota Subulussalam untuk memberikan sosialisasi secara berkala minimal tiap 1 bulan sekali kepada perawat mengenai SPO tindakan keperawatan dan dapat memberikan reward positif terhadap perawat yang selalu bekerja menggunakan SPO, serta memberikan punishment bagi perawat yang bekerja tanpa menggunakan SPO sehingga dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan perilaku perawat dalam penggunaan SPO dalam bekerja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the long-term impact of stunting in childhood on cognitive development and educational attainment through a meta-analysis approach. Stunting, which is indicated by stunted linear growth due to chronic malnutrition, has long been associated with various negative consequences on health and social aspects. By systematically examining the results of quantitative studies from various countries and socio-economic contexts, this study identified a consistent pattern of association between stunting in early life and decline in cognitive function and academic achievement in adolescence and adulthood. Data were obtained from 25 studies that met the inclusion criteria published in the 2015 to 2024 range, and were analyzed using fixed-effect and randomized effects models with the help of the JASP application. The results of the meta-analysis showed that children who experienced stunting had an effect on cognitive and education with a pooled effect size value (Hedges' g = 1.10 t= 9.103; p < 0.001) with a high effect size category. These findings confirm that stunting not only has an impact on short-term physical conditions, but also has significant consequences for human resource development in the long term. Therefore, comprehensive nutrition and education interventions in early life are essential to break the chain of loss due to stunting.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kesehatan yang artikan sebagai keadaan sejahtera dari badan, jiwa, dan sosial yang memungkinkan setiap orang hidup produktif secara sosial dan ekonomis. Sehat secara mental (kesehatan jiwa) adalah satu kondisi yang memungkinkan perkembangan fisik, intelektual dan emosional yang optimal dari seseorang dan perkembangan itu berjalan selaras dengan keadaan orang-orang lain.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk Menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan, sikap, tindakan, dan lingkungan terhadap penularan TBC pada Masyarakat Puskesmas Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Utara Kota Gunungsitoli Tahun 2025. Hasil analisis uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa nilai p variabel pengetahuan diperoleh p-value = 0,005, sikap p-value = 0,051, tindakan p-value = 0,036 dan lingkungan p-value = 0,049 terhadap Penularan TBC Pada Masyarakat Puskesmas Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Utara Kota Gunungsitoli Tahun 2025. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwasanya ada hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, tindakan, dan lingkungan terhadap Penularan TBC Pada Masyarakat Puskesmas Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Utara Kota Gunungsitoli Tahun 2025. Saran dari penelitian ini Diharapkan kepada pihak Puskesmas Gunungsitoli Utara agar optimal dalam memperhatikan setiap individu yang sudah tertular penyakit TBC contohnya seperti memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan di setiap desa, lingkungan, dan rumah-rumah agar pengetahuan masyarakat semakin bertambah terhadap penyebab terjadinya penularan penyakit TBC ini.

Abstract

This study highlights outpatient satisfaction with pharmaceutical services at the Malahayati Islamic Hospital in Medan in 2023. Data shows a decrease in outpatient visits of 21.5% in July 2023 at this hospital. The waiting time for taking medication exceeds 60 minutes, and can even reach two to three days, indicating that there is concern about the effectiveness of pharmaceutical services in the Pharmacy Installation. The research aims to analyze the impact of the quality of pharmaceutical installation services on outpatient satisfaction by involving 100 outpatients in quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach in August-September 2023. The results of the analysis show that service quality significantly influences outpatient satisfaction, especially in the dimensions of effective, efficient, timely, patient-focused, fair, safe, and integrated. The most dominant factors are fairness and safety, which significantly influence patient satisfaction. This study recommends improvements in the form of adding pharmacists, better medication planning, providing WiFi services, routine communication training for staff, and completing identity information and telephone numbers in patient medical records. In conclusion, the quality dimensions of pharmaceutical services greatly influence outpatient patient satisfaction, and improvements in fair and safe aspects can increase patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Analysis of consumer behavior in health services is crucial in securing a company's sustainability. Amid intense competition, consumer perceptions about the quality of service at hospitals greatly influence their visiting decisions. This research focuses on the case study of Nur'aini General Hospital, which experienced a decline in patient visits from 2013 to 2016. The research method used a survey with 79 respondents from inpatients. The results show that the majority of respondents are adults, have secondary education, and most are women. Data is described in various variables such as service products, rates, service places, promotions, people involved, service processes, and physical facilities. The results of this research can help RSU Nur'aini improve marketing and service strategies to overcome the decline in the number of patient visits.

Abstract

Nutritional status of toddlers is a crucial indicator of children's health quality and the nation's future development. This study aimed to analyze the factors associated with undernutrition among toddlers in the working area of Hamparan Perak Health Center in 2024. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used. A total of 32 toddlers with undernutrition were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and interviews, and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square tests. The results revealed significant associations between maternal education, maternal nutritional knowledge, family income, feeding patterns, and exclusive breastfeeding with toddler nutritional status (p < 0.05). Toddlers raised by mothers with low education and poor knowledge, from low-income families, with poor dietary patterns, and who were not exclusively breastfed were at higher risk of being undernourished. This study recommends an integrated intervention strategy involving nutrition education, economic empowerment, and exclusive breastfeeding promotion to reduce the prevalence of undernutrition among toddlers.

Abstract

Nursing services are an important component in the hospital system and are one of the main indicators of the quality of health services. This study aims to analyze the influence of the quality of nursing services on the satisfaction of inpatients at Dr. Pirngadi Hospital, Medan City. The research design used an analytical approach with a cross sectional design, involving 97 inpatient respondents in the internal medicine section selected through purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument is in the form of a structured questionnaire that measures five dimensions of service quality based on the SERVQUAL model (tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy). Data analysis used multivariate logistic regression to identify the dominant factors influencing patient satisfaction. The results showed that all dimensions of nursing service quality were significantly related to patient satisfaction (p < 0.05). The most dominant factor is assurance with an Odds Ratio (OR) value of 23,292, which shows that service assurance, sense of security, and competence of health workers are the main determinants of patient satisfaction. This study emphasizes that improving the quality of nursing services as a whole, especially in the aspects of assurance and empathy, is an important strategy in increasing patient satisfaction and hospital competitiveness.

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), stunting is a growth and developmental disorder in children caused by chronic malnutrition, recurrent infections, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation, characterized by a height-for-age index of < -2 SD. This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing the incidence of stunting among under-five children in Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. This study employed an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 71 mothers with stunted children under five. Data were analyzed using bivariate analysis with the chi-square test and multivariate analysis using logistic regression. The results showed that nutritional intake (p=0.000), personal hygiene practices (p=0.027), utilization of health services (p=0.003), child care practices (p=0.003), and exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.032) were significantly associated with stunting incidence. Multivariate analysis revealed that nutritional intake was the most dominant factor (Exp(B)=31.212). In conclusion, all variables significantly influenced the incidence of stunting, with nutritional intake as the dominant factor. Improving child nutrition should be prioritized as a key strategy in stunting prevention.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of services we provide and satisfaction is an asset to get more patients and to get loyal patients. Patient satisfaction standards in health services are set nationally by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, which is above 95%. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the quality of life of pulmonary TB patients at UPTD.Special Lung Hospital Medan.  This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study design. From the satisfaction survey data of RSU Mitra Medika Bandar Klippa for 2023, it shows that the patient satisfaction rate is 87%. When the researchers conducted an initial survey on October 12, 2021, the initial survey data obtained showed that 7 patients expressed dissatisfaction with the services provided in the outpatient room. The purpose of this study was to analyze services to patient satisfaction in the outpatient room of RSU Mitra Medika Bandar Klippa. This research is a descriptive qualitative study conducted in the outpatient room of RSU Mitra Medika Bandar Klippa in June 2022. Where the informants in this study were the Head of the Outpatient Room, Five Patients, Specialist Doctors, Customer Service and Cleaning Officers. Data were analyzed using theme analysis. The results showed that health worker communication is closely related to patient satisfaction. Responsiveness of health workers is closely related to patient satisfaction. Cleanliness and comfort are closely related to patient satisfaction. Information before the patient goes home is closely related to patient satisfaction. Based on the conclusions, it is recommended that the results of this study be input material and become material in evaluating communication in providing services to all hospital visitors, by increasing effective communication, increasing the responsiveness of all hospital staff, maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the outpatient room and health workers always provide information before patients leave the service unit. It is recommended that the results of this study can be an applicable concept for health workers to be able to improve health service efforts for pulmonary TB patients so that they can apply the rules that have been set, patients comply with undergoing treatment regularly and are good at taking care of themselves so that their disease is not transmitted to others.
