Abstract

Abstrack This research  was conduted from February to March 2018 in Kuok Village, West Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency and laboratory of Parasites and fish Diseases, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine,Universitas of Riau. This study aims to determine the health  status of fish seen from the total erythrocytes, total leukocytes, hematocrit values, and hemoglobin levels, to stres levels in the Cultivation pond of Kuok District. Kampar Regency. The method used in this research is the survey method in three diffrent locations,  namely in the Kuok Village Cultivation pond one, two, and three ponds. The type of feed given is in the form of commercial pellets which are given adlibitum three times a day.Sampling was done three times with a span of 10 days, the number of fish examinet  was  90, each measuring 8-12 cm,  the fish obtained  from the pond are  then taken  using  syirenge 1 ml which has been moistened with  10% EDTA solution and  then the blood is put into the eppendorf tube, then stored in a coollbox and taken to the parasite and  fish disease Laboratory, to calculate  the total erythroxy, total  leukocytes, hematokcrit value, and hemoglobin level. Based on observations of hematological parameter of siam jambal fish (pangasius hyphothalmus) total first erythrocyte sampling cells, one pond, 216x 104 cells/ mm3, two ponds 224x 104 cells/mm3 and three ponds at 221x 104 cells / mm3.  Then the  hematocrit value in pool one is  16.00% pon two 16,06 % and pool three is 14,13. Hemoglobin level one pond is 8,46 g/dL, pool two  9,43 g/dL while the total pool leukocytes  were 193x 105 cells/mm3 and two pools were 142x 105  cells / mm3  and three pouds were 138x 105 cells/mm3.Key Words:  Hematologycal, Pangasius hyphothalmus, cageculature, pond.

Abstract

This study was conducted from April-June 2013 in the Laboratory of Aquaculture and Fish Diseases and Parasites Laboratory Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences University of Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of erythrocytes, hematocrit, and blood hemoglobin river catfish (Mystus nemurus) fed a combination of guava leaves and bitter infected with the bacterium A. hydrophila. This study used 5 treatments of: negative control (without any solution guava, bitter and non-infected A. hydrophila fish meal), Kp: positive control (without guava leaves and a bitter and infected A. hydrophila fish meal), P1 (addition of guava leaves as much 10 g and 10 g bitter / kg of feed fish meal), P2 (addition of guava leaves and bitter as much as 20 g of 20 g / kg of feed fish meal), P3 (addition of guava leaves and bitter as much as 30 g of 30 g / kg of feed fish meal). The results showed that feeding a combination of guava leaves and bitter can not increase erythrocytes, hematocrit, and hemoglobin but it can increase endurance fish seen from passing fish alive after are infected A. hydrophila. Average erythrocytes from 0.52 to 2.90 million cells/mm3, 16.60 to 50.97% hematocrit and hemoglobin percentage from 3.62 to 5.33 g /%Key word: River catfish (Mystus nemurus), guava leaves and bitter, A. hydrophila

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to transfer knowledge and technology about artificial spawning of Mutiara Strain (Clarias gariepinus Burchell, 1822) to the Unggul Farm fish hatchery unit in Pangkalan Baru Village, Kec. Siak Hulu Regency. Kampar. This activity will be held on July 12 – August 12, 2021. The method used is direct demonstration and active participation. The spawning-stimulating hormone was Ovaprim with a dose of 0.5 ml/kg female broodstock and 0.3 ml/kg male broodstock. Artificial spawning, which is the process of removing eggs and sperm by stripping and surgery, so that the maximum number of eggs and sperm is obtained. Then fertilization is carried out, and then the eggs are incubated until they hatch which are called larvae. Artificial spawning produces larvae as many as 3 tanks with a size of 1 X 5.5 m. Natural spawning is carried out by the Unggul Farm fish hatchery unit each spawning period producing one larval tank with a size of 1 X 5.5 m. The benefits of artificial spawning are to increase the production of Mutiara strain seeds and improve the welfare of members of the Unggul Farm fish hatchery unit
