The issue of inter-religious tolerance becomes an important issue amid Indonesia's diverse ethnic, religious, racial, and cultural situation. This is because many problems in the name of violence and religious conflicts still occur in Indonesia. For this reason, efforts are needed to minimize and respond to these problems. In this case, social media also has an important role in relations between religious communities. For this reason, it is necessary to explore more deeply how several platforms on social media are campaigning and discussing religious tolerance. This study seeks to explore the NU Garis Lucu and the Catholic Community of Garis Lucu in viewing the landscape of religious tolerance in Indonesia on social media. Through discourse analysis theory, researchers seek to examine how the discourse of religious tolerance is debated in the social media space, which in this case is represented by two media platforms, namely NU Garis Lucu and the Catholic Community of Garis Lucu. The results of this study indicate that media platforms such as NU Garis Lucu and the Catholic Community of Garis Lucu have an important role in spreading the pattern of interaction of religious tolerance in Indonesia. The two platforms become accelerators and seek to counter various frictions and conflicts on social media, especially related to hate speech, hostility in the name of religion, and various issues that trigger conflicts between religious communities.

Diversity in Indonesian society is part of the reality that must be interpreted as the riches or uniqueness of this nation. However, conflicts and violence continue to be issues that disturb this diverse reality. These issues have forced the campaign for religious tolerance in society to continue to be carried out. This study aims to analyze the interfaith encounters that occurred in Yogyakarta and then proceed to read it from the perspective of hospitality. This research will use a descriptive qualitative methodology with observations, literature analysis, and interviews. The focus is on the Ahmadiyya group in Yogyakarta as one of the interfaith meeting spaces. The Ahmadiyya group often opens space and provides a place for interfaith dialogue for students and young people from different religious, cultural, and belief backgrounds. The formation of a dialogue space as a form of building an attitude of tolerance is not the end of achieving harmony or peace, but establishing the dimension of hospitality is also important in this particular discourse. Especially in enrolling in the post-pandemic period, a hospitality-based meeting room is needed.

Language learning is the manifestation of language policy. As English has been decided to be a foreign language not the second that potentially provide more opportunity for the language to occupy Indonesian socio-political, economic, and cultural aspect but has been regarded endanger their “preservation”, some considerations in English language planning in Indonesia especially in higher education need to be reviewed when English is also regarded as the most important language used in academic atmosphere. The claim of the existance of paradox between the language policy and the academic community’s demand toward English does not probably exist. There might be a missing link between the policy in the level of macro, meso, and micro. This article is intended to analize the status of English in Indonesia and investigate the fact of EFL in higher education in Indonesia to provide implication for future language education planning

This research explores the concept of historical glocalization in the context of the Sewawar Waterfall folktale and its impact on character education values in local communities. Folktale is certainly an important part of a society's cultural heritage and often reflects the values cherished by that society. This research analyzes character education values such as religious values, honesty, tolerance, love of peace, social care and environmental care reflected in the folktale of Sewawar Waterfall, as well as how these values experience a historical glocalization process in the context of local culture and history. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data was collected through interviews with local community leaders, cultural figures, Kuncen, and local historical documentation studies. The research results show that the character education values in these folktales have undergone significant adaptation according to the historical and cultural context of local communities, creating a unique form of historical glocalization phenomenon. The implication of this research is a deeper understanding of how character education values have played a role in shaping the cultural and moral identity of local communities, as well as their relevance in the current global character education context.

Pengging is a heritage/historic area located in Boyolali, Central Java. Some of the historical attractions in Pengging include Umbul Pengging, Cipto Mulyo Mosque, R.Ng's Tomb. Yasadipura, grave of Kyai Ageng Kebo Kenongo (Ki Ageng Pengging). Researchers found that there are many traditions that still survive today, one of the traditions is in Pengging which is carried out every year and was officially declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020, namely the Tradition of Spreading the Keong Mas Steamed Apem. The tradition of spreading apem steamed keong mas is an adoption of the Yaqowiyu tradition in Jatinom, Klaten, Central Java. The tradition uses the traditional Gunungan procession, like the tradition at the Surakarta Palace and Yogyakarta Palace. The tradition of spreading apem steamed keong mas is interesting for researchers to study because many of the general public are still not aware of this tradition. This is proven by 30% of Pengging tourist visitors who only visit tourist attractions without knowing about the traditions that are carried out every year. This research uses qualitative historical methods as a research stage carried out using heuristics (data collection by means of interviews with related parties and also collecting sources of oral history of the Pengging community, namely urban legends), verification (critique of sources, this is done by limiting research observations so that the focus is the purpose of this research being carried out), interpretation (analysis carried out by creating a structured narrative whose truth and novelty can be accounted for), and historiography (carried out to convey the results of observations in three chapter discussions which will be completed in approximately 2-6 months). The results of the research focus on the condition of the Pengging community in 2004-2020, an explanation of the Keong Mas Steamed Apem Spread Tradition which is recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the existence of the government in maintaining the Keong Mas Steamed Apem Spread Tradition. As a reference to the Boyolali government not to forget history and raise the historical tourism potential in Pengging. The efforts made by the government to obtain and maintain the existence of recognition as intangible cultural heritage in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic have become a challenge for the need for publication/promotion that can be carried out by the government and surrounding millennials.

This research is going to investigate how the module for teaching English to grade VII students in Karanganyar Regency embeds the principles of glocalization, which mix local elements. Glocalization is necessary in education since it cultivates sensitivity and awareness among the learners. This analysis adopts a content analysis approach to see how glocalization is reflected in the reading materials for graders. The focus of the analysis lies in aspects, cultural references, and themes, which better explain the adjustment of global English materials in contexts and cultures. The results underline the contribution of glocalization to the student's engagement and understanding during this curriculum. This research will offer insights into language teaching and the development of curriculum through the critical importance of glocalization strategies in the teaching of materials for learners to be culturally relevant. The recommendations from the conducted analysis give guidance to educators and curriculum designers to improve the implementation of glocalization principles in language teaching resources.
