Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of technology on the dynamics of social life. Through a literature review research method, this research found that technology has brought significant changes in the way humans interact, communicate and socialize. On the one hand, technology makes it easier to access information, expands social networks, and encourages innovation. However, on the other hand, technology can also trigger social isolation, raise privacy issues, and change existing social norms. This research concludes that the influence of technology on social life is complex and multidimensional, so further studies need to be carried out to understand its long-term impact.

Abstract

. This research aims to map the tourism potential in Jalawastu Cultural Village and develop sustainable community-based tourism. Historical information is needed to understand the values of local wisdom and to inventory the potentials and tourist attractions in Jalawastu Cultural Village. The urgency of this research lies in the conservation and development of cultural heritage. By identifying the cultural tourism potentials in Jalawastu Cultural Village, this research will also assist in the efforts to conserve and develop local cultural heritage. This is crucial for preserving unique cultural identities and preventing the loss of traditional knowledge and practices. The development of multicultural community-based tourism is a concept that combines cultural richness, local wisdom, and active community participation in managing tourist destinations. In the context of Javanese and Sundanese (Jasun), Jalawastu Cultural Village represents a particularly interesting potential. Located on the border between the Javanese and Sundanese regions, this village showcases rich cultural diversity and can attract both local and international tourists. The research method to be used is qualitative with an literature riview. The results of this study indicate that Jalawastu Cultural Village has great potential to be developed into a community-based multicultural tourism destination. The role of the local government is crucial in promoting Jalawastu Cultural Village to be more widely recognized internationally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the snowball throwing learning model on the interest of class III SDN Prapag Kidul 03 in Maths material theme 7 subtheme 2 "technology development" in the material of folding symmetry and rotational symmetry. The method used in this research is by experiment. The technique of taking cluster random sampling and the data for interest in learning is carried out with a self-assessment sheet in the form of a questionnaire for students. The materials used are folding symmetry and rotational symmetry materials. This study was analyzed using the t test. The results obtained were (1) The results of the pre-test of interest in learning mathematics on rotational symmetry and folding symmetry in the experimental class obtained an average value of 43.35 greater than the average value of the control class, namely 39.87. This t-test uses SPSS 24 software assistance. The results obtained using the t-test obtained a significance of 0.081 <0.05, which means that there is an effect of the snowball throwing model on learning interest, the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted (Ho) is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in motivating students in Pancasila education learning and describe the inhibiting and supporting factors of student learning motivation in Pancasila education. The method used in this study is a qualitative method through a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis methods used are collecting data, data reduction, data display (data presentation), verification. The validity used is source triangulation, technique triangulation. The targets used in this study are principals, teachers, and students. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the role of teachers in motivating students in Pancasila education learning is good. The role of teachers in motivating students in class IV education learning is (1) Making students active in learning activities (2) Creating a conducive classroom atmosphere (3) Creating learning methods (4) Increasing enthusiasm and passion in teaching (5) Giving awards or prizes (6) Creating activities that involve students in the classroom. For the inhibiting and supporting factors of student learning motivation in Pancasila education, the first supporting factor is (1) Teachers have a deep understanding of the Pancasila principles (2) Adequate curriculum (3) Conducive school environment. The second inhibiting factor is (1) Minimal teacher understanding of Pancasila values ​​(2) Inconsistency between the curriculum and student needs (3) Lack of support from the government in providing adequate resources.

Abstract

The promotion of reading interest is one of the key roles of the library as a source and provider of information. This study aims to formulate concrete steps to enhance students’ reading interest through the optimal utilization of elementary school libraries. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, involving the analysis of various scholarly sources related to literacy, library management, and strategies to increase reading interest at the elementary level. The findings of the study indicate that optimization can be achieved through three main steps: (1) Library revitalization, which includes rearranging the space, providing a diverse and age-appropriate reading collection, and utilizing digital technology; (2) Implementation of literacy programs, such as reading corners, book review competitions, and sustainable group reading activities; and (3) Library staff training, to enable them to become active literacy facilitators who are responsive to students' needs. These three strategies complement each other and can be continuously developed by schools in an effort to establish a strong literacy culture from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth how the Quizizz application can be optimally utilized by teachers and students at the elementary school level. The main focus is on identifying best practices in the use of Quizizz to effectively support the achievement of learning objectives. This research employs a qualitative approach using the literature study method (library research), which is intended to examine and analyze various scholarly sources and previous research related to the use of the Quizizz application. The utilization of Quizizz in elementary schools can be optimized through several wise strategies, such as designing quizzes that match students' skill levels to maintain relevance, using the self-correction feature to enhance understanding, and managing time effectively to prevent students from rushing. Additionally, to address issues related to unstable internet connections, schools need to ensure adequate infrastructure and provide supervision to prevent students from seeking answers from external sources.

Abstract

Reading skills are a fundamental aspect of elementary school education and play an important role in students' literacy development. However, several third-grade students at SD Negeri Klampok 05 still experience delays in reading and have low reading interest. The main factors contributing to this issue are the limited availability of engaging reading materials and the lack of environmental involvement in literacy culture. This study aims to analyze the use of Mini Books in developing students' reading skills. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Mini Books are effective in enhancing reading skills through strategies such as shared reading, interactive reading, read-aloud techniques, and vocabulary reinforcement. Additionally, the implementation of Mini Books involves preparation, execution, reinforcement, and evaluation. A supportive environment, both at school and at home, plays a crucial role in shaping students' reading habits. In conclusion, Mini Books are an effective learning medium for improving students' reading skills, provided they are supported by a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

The research was conducted to identify the various problems encountered in mathematics learning among elementary school students. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive, where in this research the researcher describes the activities observed in the field with specific, in-depth and transparent characteristics. Primary data were obtained directly from interviews and information gathered from research subjects, namely the third-grade teacher and students at SD Negeri Dumeling 01. Secondary data were collected from journals, notes, library books, and previous studies to support and strengthen the primary data obtained at the school. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the challenges in teaching mathematics, particularly in multiplication and division material for third-grade students, stem from a combination of internal factors such as students’ learning styles and interest, and external factors such as family support, lack of variation in teaching methods, and a classroom environment that does not yet fully support effective learning. Therefore, a more creative, contextual, and enjoyable teaching approach is needed, along with active support from families, to foster students’ interest in learning from an early age.

Iim Karimah. 2025. Pemanfaatan Media Wordwall Dalam Evaluasi Pembelajaran Pada Materi Teks Persuasi di SD Negeri Karangbokong 01. Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi. Pembimbing I: Didik Tri Setiyoko, M.Pd, Pembimbing II: Laelia Nurpratiwiningsih, M.Pd. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media Wordwall dalam evaluasi pembelajaran materi teks persuasi serta untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya media tersebut. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya variasi media evaluasi pembelajaran yang digunakan guru, khususnya dalam materi teks persuasi, yang menyebabkan rendahnya motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa. Wordwall sebagai media interaktif berbasis digital dinilai memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan daya tarik dalam proses evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi hasil belajar. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Karangbokong 01, Kecamatan Larangan, Kabupaten Brebes, Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui tiga model permainan Wordwall, yaitu pengurutan grup, kartu lampu kilat, dan Whack a Mole. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Wordwall mampu meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan antusiasme siswa dalam mengikuti evaluasi pembelajaran. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dalam tiga model permainan menunjukkan kategori “Sangat Baik” hingga “Baik”. Permainan pertama memperoleh rata-rata 91,5, permainan kedua 100, dan permainan ketiga 79,17. Selain memberikan variasi dalam evaluasi, media ini juga menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan efektif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan Wordwall sebagai media evaluasi tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang cenderung membosankan karena didominasi metode ceramah dan buku teks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media video visual terhadap peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VI SD Negeri Losari Kidul 01. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen menggunakan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI, dengan jumlah sampel 36 siswa yang terbagi dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket minat belajar dan tes hasil belajar, yang divalidasi dan reliabel untuk mengukur perubahan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video visual secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan skor rata-rata minat serta nilai hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, media video visual terbukti efektif sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang dapat menciptakan suasana belajar lebih menarik, meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa, dan mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar yang lebih baik.
