Abstract

Pendidikan karakter yang peduli lingkungan membutuhkan perkembangan individu dan sosial. Namun, lingkungan sekolah dasar dianggap sebagai lingkungan yang paling sesuai karena konteks sosial budaya yang bagaimana anak-anak usia sekolah dasar mengembangkan sifat peduli lingkungan. Sekolah dasar dengan lingkungan sosial dan budaya yang kuat dianggap sebagai tempat yang paling efektif untuk membantu proses pembentukan karakter yang kompleks ini, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh penelitian ini. Untuk memeriksa dua puluh artikel ilmiah yang relevan, penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur review. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa setiap pendekatan pembelajaran dapat membantu membangun karakter yang peduli dengan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan karakter yang dimulai sejak dini memiliki potensi besar untuk membentuk generasi muda yang peduli terhadap lingkungan dan menjadi pilar pembangunan karakter bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah mengubah dunia pendidikan secara mendalam. Di satu sisi, teknologi memberikan kemudahan dan memperluas akses informasi, namun di sisi lain, teknologi berisiko menggerus nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang fundamental. Penelitian ini mengkaji pentingnya menemukan keseimbangan antara inovasi teknologi dan pengembangan karakter dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan humanistik, yang fokus pada perkembangan individu secara menyeluruh, diajukan sebagai solusi untuk masalah ini. Dengan menekankan pengembangan empati, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan tanggung jawab sosial, pendidikan humanistik dapat mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan dalam era digital yang kompleks. Penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi berbagai pendekatan pedagogis yang dapat mendukung penerapan pendidikan humanistik, seperti transmisi budaya, refleksi nilai, klarifikasi prinsip, dan pengembangan kognitif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan seharusnya tidak hanya sebatas proses transfer pengetahuan. Pendidikan juga harus berfokus pada pembentukan karakter individu yang berbudi pekerti, kreatif, dan kritis.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan dengan kekayaan budaya yang sangat beragam, mulai dari bahasa, adat istiadat, hingga kesenian daerah. Keberagaman ini merupakan aset bangsa yang harus dikenalkan sejak dini agar tumbuh rasa bangga, toleransi, dan persatuan di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengenalkan keberagaman budaya Indonesia melalui mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan observasi lapangan untuk memahami penerapan pembelajaran budaya di sekolah. Populasi penelitian adalah guru IPS dan siswa sekolah dasar, dengan sampel yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling meliputi guru IPS, siswa kelas IV dan V SD, serta kepala sekolah. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara semi-terstruktur, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran interaktif seperti cerita rakyat, peragaan pakaian adat, musik tradisional, serta pembelajaran berbasis proyek mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan antusiasme siswa terhadap keragaman budaya. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya terbukti berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang toleran, menghargai perbedaan, serta memiliki rasa cinta tanah air yang kuat, meskipun masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan media pembelajaran dan kurangnya pelatihan guru dalam mengajar materi kebudayaan secara kreatif.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a prime example of the rapid development of modern technology. Education is one of the many fields impacted by AI. Student learning motivation, which is a crucial component in the learning process and is influenced by a number of factors, is crucial for the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities. This study aims to investigate the relationship between student learning motivation and the use of AI. The research methodology involved examining the literature using the Google Scholar database. The following inclusion criteria were used to screen the articles: 1) Selecting search terms such as "learning motivation," "artificial intelligence," and "students"; 2) Selecting literature based on source quality, year of publication, and topic relevance; 3) Reading each article and noting its main conclusions. The results of the study indicate that AI-based teaching and learning activities can produce inventive and engaging learning experiences, which in turn increase students' desire to learn.

Abstract

The formation of self-identity in elementary school students is a crucial developmental process shaped by learning experiences and social interactions. One instructional model believed to support identity development is Project Based Learning (PjBL). This study aims to analyze the literature on the influence of PjBL on the development of elementary students’ self-identity, encompassing cognitive, affective, and social dimensions. The research employed a qualitative method with a literature review approach, drawing from international journals, nationally indexed journals (Sinta), and academic books published within the last 5–10 years. The findings indicate that PjBL enhances critical thinking, conceptual understanding, and problem-solving skills (cognitive); fosters responsibility, independence, and self-confidence (affective); and develops teamwork, leadership, and group identity (social). Challenges in implementing PjBL include time constraints, limited facilities, and teacher preparedness, which can be mitigated through adaptive strategies. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on self-identity development rather than solely academic outcomes. The main contribution of this review is providing a perspective that PjBL serves as a pedagogical strategy to strengthen both personal and social identity among elementary school students from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the obstacles in Social Studies (IPS) learning related to global issues influenced by technological advancement through a literature review method. Social Studies plays an essential role in shaping students’ understanding of social, economic, cultural, and political life while fostering global awareness in the digital era. However, in practice, IPS learning often faces various challenges that reduce its effectiveness and attractiveness. One of the main problems is students ’low interestin IPS, as it is often perceived as boring and overly theoretical, combined with the influence of technology that diverts students’ attention toward digital entertainment. Other contributing factors include non-interactive teaching methods, limited learning facilities, unconducive classroom environments, and a lack of parental support. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study found that relevant strategies to overcome these issues include Project-Based Learning, Technology Integration, and Contextual Approaches. These strategies enable students to learn actively, critically, and collaboratively by linking IPS material to global issues and real-world phenomena. The recommended solutions include implementing project-based education, utilizing interactive digital media, and fostering intercultural dialogue within the learning process. The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of adaptive IPS learning models in response to technological progress, as well as practical benefits for teachers, schools, and policymakers in creating Social Studies learning that is engaging, meaningful, and relevant to the global challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a national priority policy under the Prabowo–Gibran administration aimed at improving students’ well-being and learning quality through school-based nutrition interventions. However, its effectiveness largely depends on the collaborative strength between teacher groups as field implementers and the government as policy makers. This study aims to analyze the collaborative synergy between teachers and the government in implementing MBG and to develop a conceptual model of school-based partnership. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, reviewing national and international articles published between 2018 and 2024 using keywords “free nutritious meals”, “school feeding program”, “government collaboration”, and “primary school teachers”. Thematic analysis was conducted by categorizing findings into four main themes: the role of government, the role of teachers, collaborative implementation, and impact on students. The results show that the success of MBG depends on policy transparency, teacher training, and cross-sector coordination responsive to local conditions. This article contributes to constructing a conceptual collaborative model that positions teachers as policy mediators and social change agents in schools. The findings strengthen the concepts of collaborative governance and empowerment education within the context of educational nutrition policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how to apply ice breaking in the learning of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Pesantunan 05, the effect of ice breaking in increasing student learning concentration and the advantages and disadvantages of ice breaking in learning. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The analytical method used is collecting data, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study indicate that the application of ice breaking in student learning in elementary schools can have an effect on increasing student learning concentration as long as the learning process is going well. The types of ice breaking that are often used by teachers are singing, songs and clapping which are carried out at the end of learning or on the sidelines of learning. With the application of Ice Breaking in learning can make students more active, enthusiastic about learning, and concentrating in the learning process takes place, in the application of Ice Breaking the teacher of course looks at the conditions and atmosphere of the class first whether it is possible to carry out Ice Breaking activities. We often encounter weaknesses and strengths during the process of implementing Ice breaking in mathematics learning. The advantages of implementing Ice breaking can shorten the time during the learning process, making the class atmosphere fun and cheerful. The drawback is the teacher's lack of creativity in implementing the types of ice breaking that are carried out in the classroom.

Abstract

Students conceptual understanding of science learning, particularly light and sound, is still low in fifth grade students at SDN Bulakparen 02. Students appear less active, ask fewer questions, and simply memorize without understanding the concepts. This condition indicates the need for learning media that can increase motivation and learning engagement, one of which is through gamification. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to describe how gamification is implemented, how students are engaged during learning, and how the media helps conceptual understanding. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that gamification makes learning more interesting, increases students' attention and participation, and helps them understand the concepts of light and sound better. Thus, gamification is an effective strategy to improve the quality of science learning in elementary schools.
