Abstract

This study aims to analyze how urban families in Mataram City educate their children in faith amid the algorithmic era. The research is based on shifts in family education patterns due to the penetration of digital technology, which has displaced parental authority, created communication fragmentation, and challenged the continuity of religion's role in guiding children's learning. A descriptive qualitative approach with a multi-unit case study design was employed. The research involved five urban families in Mataram City, selected purposively based on their active use of digital devices, parental involvement in children's education, and the application of religious values in daily life, all of which were relevant to the study's focus. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and were then analyzed thematically and interactively with methodological and source triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal that digital education and religious values complement each other in maintaining intergenerational harmony. First, the shift of educational authority from parents to digital sources is addressed through collaboration between moral values and technology at home. Second, the fragmentation of communication caused by gadget dominance is mitigated by creating moments of togetherness and reflective dialogue among family members. Third, religious values serve as a moral compass that guides the ethical and responsible use of technology. The study concludes that educating faith amid algorithms means integrating technology with spiritual and relational values, rather than rejecting digitalization. These findings underscore the importance of fostering family-based humanistic digital literacy that strikes a balance between technical competence and ethical and spiritual awareness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji aksesibilitas fisik sekolah menengah (SMP, SMA/MA, SMK) bagi masyarakat lokal di kawasan Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika fokus studi: Desa Kute, Kecamatan Pujut, Lombok Tengah. Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) memetakan ketersediaan fasilitas pendidikan menengah di wilayah studi, (2) mengukur aksesibilitas fisik (jarak tempuh, waktu tempuh, sarana transportasi, kondisi jalan, dan hambatan infrastruktur), dan (3) mengidentifikasi kelompok penduduk yang mengalami kesulitan akses. Metode yang dipakai adalah survei lapangan, wawancara semi terstruktur dengan pemangku kepentingan, observasi fasilitas, dan analisis spasial sederhana (buffer radius 5–10 km). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa meskipun jumlah gedung sekolah menengah relatif memadai secara kuantitatif, terdapat kesenjangan aksesibilitas untuk masyarakat lokal yang tinggal di wilayah pesisir dan juga perbukitan yang disebabkan keterbatasan transportasi, kondisi jalan, dan kapasitas ruang kelas. Rekomendasi meliputi pengembangan layanan transportasi sekolah berbasis komunitas, penambahan unit ruang kelas di titik bottleneck, serta penguatan program SMK vokasi yang responsif kebutuhan KEK.

Abstract

Gender-based violence remains a pressing issue in Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, with official data reporting dozens of cases involving women and children each year. However, these figures do not fully reflect the actual conditions, as many cases go unreported due to social stigma and a prevailing culture of silence. Within the local Biak context, the indigenous wisdom of Kankain Karkara which emphasizes sitting together, reflecting, and resolving issues through customary deliberation offers significant potential as a cultural foundation for educational interventions aimed at preventing gender-based violence. The values of solidarity, consensus, adherence to customary norms, and peace embedded in Kankain Karkara provide a strong basis for developing an educational model that fosters gender-sensitive environments. This study aims to formulate an educational model rooted in local wisdom to strengthen collective awareness and build a gender-responsive educational ecosystem. The research employed a qualitative approach with a participatory case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with customary leaders, officials from DP3AKB/UPTD PPA, NGO activists, teachers, and students; participatory observations in schools and indigenous communities; as well as document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, comprising data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Model validation was carried out through focus group discussions (FGDs) involving key local stakeholders. The findings demonstrate that integrating Kankain Karkara into education can serve as an effective strategy to overcome cultural silence, reduce stigma, and enhance gender literacy among younger generations. In conclusion, education based on local wisdom is not only contextually relevant but also functions as a transformative strategy that bridges indigenous values, formal policies, and educational practices. This model has the potential to be replicated in other regions with similar cultural characteristics to promote the creation of more just and gender-equitable societies.

Abstract

Suku sasak memiliki beragam jenis kearifan lokal, baik dalam bentuk awik-awik, tradisi, lembaga soisl, kesenian, maupun produk hasil karya, yang sangat potensial diintegrasikan pada mata Pelajaran soiologi. Integrasi tentunya dapat dilakukan dengan  memanfaatkan kearifan lokal suku sasak untuk penguatan materi, metode dan media pembelajaran. Namun demikina, tidak semua guru sosiologi maksimal melakukan hal tersebut, termasuk guru sosiologi di SMA Abata Lombok. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian sangat penting dilakukan dengan tujuan agar guru Sosiologi  SMA Abata Lombok dapat mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal suku sasak pada mata Pelajaran soiologi. Metode yang diguanakan adalah pendampingan dengan tahapan kegiatan, yaitu: (1) penyampaian materi dan diskusi (2) pendampingan, dan (3) evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian yaitu: (1) terkonstruksinya pengetahuan khalayak sasaran terkait jenis kearifan lokal suku sasak (2) terkonstrusinya pengetahuan khalayak sasaran terkait relevansi kearifan lokal suku sasak dengan materi sosiologi, (3) terkonstruksinya pengetahuan khalayak sasaran terkait trategi integrasi kearifan lokal pada mata Pelajaran sosiologi, (4) tersususnnya media pembelajaran sosiologi yang menintegrasikan kearifan lokal suku sasak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran tradisi lokal dalam memperkuat solidaritas sosial dalam masyarakat pesisir Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metode telaah pustaka, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tradisi lokal yang masih lestari dan kontribusinya dalam membangun kohesi sosial di tengah tantangan modernisasi dan globalisasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi seperti gotong royong saat panen ikan, ritual laut (Labuh Saji/sedekah laut), dan sistem bagi hasil dalam kegiatan penangkapan ikan berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan rasa kebersamaan, memperkuat nilai-nilai keadilan sosial, dan mendorong partisipasi masyarakat. Tradisi lokal ini juga berfungsi sebagai mekanisme adaptif yang membantu masyarakat pesisir bertahan terhadap perubahan sosial dan ekologis. Namun, tantangan seperti menurunnya partisipasi pemuda, komersialisasi budaya, dan perubahan lingkungan laut harus diatasi melalui strategi pelestarian yang inovatif dan keterlibatan antar generasi. Dengan demikian, tradisi lokal dapat terus berfungsi sebagai elemen dasar dalam meningkatkan solidaritas sosial dan ketahanan budaya dalam masyarakat pesisir.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana analisis pembelajaran jarak jauh terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SD Negeri 2 Tolitoli. Jenis penilitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Tolitoli. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas, guru bidang studi dan siswa kelas VB, teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu mengunakan instrument lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mereduksi, penyajian, penarikan kesimpulan dan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian ini tentang pembelajaran jarak jauh terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SD Negeri 2 Tolitoli dilihat dari analisis ketercapaian pelaksanaannya telah tercapai dan terlaksana sesuai dengan indikator tiga tugas utama dalam mendesain dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran jarak jauh dan indicator hasil belajar dengan pencapian seluruh indicator terlaksana

Abstract

This Lecturer Community Service Program aims to improve the skills of social studies teachers in designing social studies learning materials integrating Sasak local wisdom using the Lesson Study method in Pujut District, Central Lombok. The first year of activities used expository methods, question-and-answer sessions, and discussions, and directly involved social studies teachers from junior high schools in the area. The results of the activities included: 1) The community service team delivered material on the concept of designing learning materials based on local wisdom using the Lesson Study method; 2) Social studies teachers were able to identify existing Sasak local wisdom that is still practiced by the community and integrated into learning materials; and 3) participants provided reflections on the activities. The output of this activity was a lecturer community service article, which was utilized by the community for the first year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of gadgets and reading interest of class XII students in one of the high schools The approach in this study uses descriptive quantitative methods with a correlation approach The population of this study were all XII grade students and the sample used was 30 students The technique used in sampling is proportional stratified random sampling Data collection was carried out using questionnaires observation and documentation Variable measurement was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and correlation test The results of this study found that there is a relationship where the use of smartphones affects students reading interest Based on the result the product moment correlation test analysis with a value of X = 67 77 and Y = 80 4 nbsp; resulting in r = 0 949 meaning that there is a significant correlation between gadget used toward reading interest This evidenced by the value of the product moment coefficient which shows that r gt; 0 01 Therefore Teachers parents are expected to be able to minimise students gadget use in addition the role of teachers parents in motivating providing reading materials or reading activities can be one aspect of supporting students interest in reading < p>

Abstract

Besiru merupakan tradisi gotong royong masyarakat Sasak yang berlandaskan prinsip saling membantu tanpa imbalan, dan hingga kini tetap hidup sebagai bagian penting dari kearifan lokal agraris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk dan mekanisme praktik Besiru serta proses internalisasi nilai-nilai resiprositas pada komunitas petani tembakau di Desa Ganti, Lombok Tengah. Letak kebaruan penelitian ini adalah dengan menempatkan analisis tindakan sosial, nilai moral, dan struktur kesadaran para petani sebagai basis yang menghidupkan praktik besiru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap enam informan kunci, meliputi petani tembakau, pengurus kelompok tani, dan tokoh desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik Besiru dilaksanakan secara bergiliran pada seluruh tahapan pertanian tembakau dari penyiapan lahan, penanaman, perawatan, panen, hingga pengolahan hasil dengan dasar kepercayaan sosial (trust), rasa malu (isin), dan tanggung jawab moral. Nilai-nilai utama yang terkandung di dalamnya meliputi gotong royong, resiprositas, solidaritas, dan keadilan. Proses internalisasi nilai Besiru berlangsung melalui sosialisasi primer di keluarga dan sosialisasi sekunder dalam komunitas petani yang memperkuat identitas sosial dan moral masyarakat. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Besiru bukan sekadar praktik tradisional, melainkan sistem sosial yang memadukan dimensi ekonomi, sosial, dan spiritual, serta berfungsi menjaga kohesi dan ketahanan komunitas petani di tengah perubahan ekonomi modern. Besiru: A Study of the Internalization of Reciprocity in Tobacco Farming Communities Based on Local Wisdom in Ganti Village, Central Lombok   Abstract Besiru is a tradition of mutual cooperation among the Sasak people based on the principle of mutual assistance without reward, and remains alive today as an important part of local agrarian wisdom. This study aims to analyze the forms and mechanisms of Besiru practices and the process of internalizing reciprocity values in the tobacco farming community in Ganti Village, Central Lombok. The novelty of this study lies in placing the analysis of social actions, moral values, and the structure of farmers' consciousness as the basis that brings the besiru practice to life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with six key informants, including tobacco farmers, farmer group administrators, and village leaders. The results show that Besiru practices are carried out in turns at all stages of tobacco farming from land preparation, planting, maintenance, harvesting, to processing products based on social trust (trust), shame (isin), and moral responsibility. The main values contained in it include mutual cooperation, reciprocity, solidarity, and justice. The internalization of Besiru values occurs through primary socialization within the family and secondary socialization within the farming community, which strengthens the community's social and moral identity. The conclusion of this study confirms that Besiru is not simply a traditional practice, but rather a social system that integrates economic, social, and spiritual dimensions and serves to maintain the cohesion and resilience of farming communities amidst modern economic changes.
