Abstract

Providing halal label certification on food products has become an effective means for consumers to more easily choose food that complies with halal principles. This is a form of producer responsibility in running a business and as a protection for consumers. However, consumers have the right to obtain clear and detailed information about each composition or ingredient used in the manufacture of the products they buy. The reason behind this need is because products circulating in the community cannot always be considered safe, especially for Muslim consumers. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is for producers and consumers to have an awareness of the importance of including halal labels and halal certification on every product they market in the community. In writing this article, the author uses a qualitative method of literature study The results obtained from this writing show that the awareness of producers was initially minimal, and consumers initially did not really consider the importance of halal labels. However, along with the widespread lifestyle that prioritizes halal principles, they began to realize how crucial halal certification is for food products.

Abstract

Urban development has consequences for the emergence of environmental problems in urban areas. With the increasing development of various activities such as road construction, transportation activities, industry, settlements and other activities, this often results in a decrease in the area of green open space and is often accompanied by a decrease in the quality of the environment. This resulted in the city becoming unhealthy, polluted and dirty. The development of green open spaces in the form of plants or green parks is needed to maintain the preservation of nature and create healthy conditions for city dwellers. Ecosystems in urban areas have urgency to be carried out immediately and carefully monitored. This paper presents important matters related to the role of urban forests in improving the quality of the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of artificial insemination in Indonesia based on Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health and evaluate the legal status and rights of children resulting from artificial insemination using sperm donors from a positive legal perspective. Using a normative juridical approach, this study utilizes secondary data from laws and regulations, legal journals, and academic literature. The results of the study show that the regulation regarding artificial insemination in Indonesia is still not comprehensive. Existing regulations focus more on the medical aspect, without providing legal certainty on the status of children resulting from artificial insemination, especially those involving sperm donors or surrogate mothers. These children often lose legal recognition which has an impact on the loss of civil rights, such as inheritance rights. The fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council also emphasized that this practice is contrary to religious norms, creating a dilemma for couples who need assisted reproductive technology. This study recommends the establishment of special regulations to accommodate the development of this technology, harmonization between legal and religious norms, and protection of the rights of children resulting from artificial insemination. Comprehensive regulations will provide legal certainty and reduce social conflicts that may arise.

Abstract

Reading ability is a very important basic competency for elementary school students. This research explores the potential of puzzle media as an innovative learning tool to improve students' reading skills. Using the literature study method, this research identifies the advantages of puzzle media, such as the ability to create an interactive, fun and motivating learning experience for students. Various types of puzzles, such as crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and word puzzles, have proven effective in helping students understand letters, words and sentences in a fun way. The implementation of puzzle media faces several challenges, including limited teacher understanding, diverse student characteristics, and lack of parental involvement. Collaboration between teachers, students and parents is key to overcoming these obstacles. This study recommends teacher training, a variety of puzzle media, as well as parental involvement in supporting learning at home. Further research is needed to quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of puzzle media and integrate it into the basic education curriculum. With an integrated approach, puzzle media can be an effective tool in improving students' reading skills and contribute to improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Technological advances in the 21st century provide great opportunities to improve the quality of education, including Islamic education. This research aims to explore the role of technology to support the transformation of Islamic education by using a qualitative approach based on a literature study. The analysis focused on opportunities, challenges and strategies for technology integration in Islamic education. The results show that technology can expand access to education, improve learning efficiency and create innovation in teaching methods. The use of digital platforms, simulations and interactive applications allows students to access classic Islamic literature and understand religious concepts more deeply. However, technology implementation also faces challenges, such as lack of infrastructure, limited teacher competencies and cultural resistance to change. Negative impacts, such as dependence on digital devices and exposure to inappropriate content, require prudent management. Strategies for technology integration in Islamic education include developing a technology-based curriculum, training teachers, strengthening digital literacy and closely monitoring online content. With the right approach, technology can support Islamic education to remain relevant in the digital era without losing the core values that underpin it. This study concludes that technology, if managed well, can be a powerful instrument to support the goal of Islamic education to form a smart, moral and noble generation.

Abstract

Islamic education has great potential to contribute to environmental conservation through the integration of Islamic values into environmental education. This research aims to analyze the gaps, challenges, and opportunities faced in such integration efforts. Using a qualitative method based on a literature study, this research explores environmental concepts in the Islamic perspective, such as “khalifah,” “mizan,” and the prohibition against “israf,” as well as their relevance to contemporary environmental issues. The results show that the current Islamic education system still faces various obstacles, including the lack of a relevant curriculum, limited competence of educators, and a lack of supporting infrastructure. Socio-cultural dynamics, such as low public awareness of environmental issues and a consumptive culture, are also significant obstacles. Nevertheless, there are great opportunities to strengthen environmental education in Islamic education through the use of educational technology, cooperation with environmental organizations, and adaptation to global frameworks, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study concludes that the integration of environmental education in Islamic education requires a systematic and collaborative approach. By utilizing relevant Islamic values and support from various parties, Islamic education can be transformed into a strategic instrument to build a generation that has ecological awareness and responsibility for environmental conservation.

Abstract

The halalness of cosmetic products has become an essential aspect for Muslim consumers who seek products in accordance with their religious values. This research discusses the legal responsibilities of cosmetics manufacturers towards Muslim consumers, the impact of the absence of halal certification on purchasing decisions, as well as the steps needed to ensure their products are in accordance with halal principles. Using a normative juridical approach, this study evaluates relevant regulations, such as Law Number 33 Year 2014 on Halal Product Guarantee, as well as compares international standards to provide a comprehensive view. The analysis shows that the absence of halal certification can undermine the trust of Muslim consumers and affect their loyalty and purchasing decisions. Manufacturers are faced with legal and moral obligations to ensure transparency of production processes, compliance with halal standards, and truthful labeling. Strategic measures, such as raw material audits, employee training and continuous supervision, are needed to mitigate legal risks and create trust in the market. This study suggests the need for regulatory strengthening and harmonization of international halal standards to support producers and protect the rights of Muslim consumers.
