Abstract

This study aims to find out how the content in the upin ipin animated Ramadan strains episode can shape the religious and moral values ​​of early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out systematically, starting with data collection, semiotic analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are that the animation of upin ipin episodes of Ramadan strains has seven values ​​that help form children's religious and moral values ​​including politeness, prayer and recitation, things that break fasting, increase practice in the month of Ramadan, prayer for breaking the fast and intention of fasting, saying hello, and singing the Hijriyah month. This upin ipin episode of Ramadan strains is very appropriate to be used as an example and watched by a wide audience with the hope that moral and religious values ​​can be conveyed in a simple way and can be well received by early childhood, especially parents and families. The animated film Upin Ipin episodes of Ramadhan strains deserves to be watched by all groups, young people and adults alike in the hope that the impression of religious and moral values ​​from this animation can be conveyed and well received.

Abstract

This research is to find out The Usage of Magic Box-Based as An Effort in improving cognitive aspects of youth capability identifies and keep in mind animal pictures, fruits, number and alphabet. The method used is a qualitative approach with a sort of case research, meanwhile, based on data and survey that investigator was carried out by observation, inerview and documentation. Investigator formerly attach data obtained through interviews. In this sub-chapter, the result of inetrviews will be explained regarding The Usage of Magic Boxes in Improving Youth’s Cognitive Aspects. The technical data analysis carried out empirically, which begins swith observation and aware of used methods. As the subject of this research is an early childhood, Mawar group RA Walisongo Gayam Sumenep with a total of 20 childern. Result of scope research found that learning process could be implemented with a Learning Approachment Based of Magic Box where there are several steps to implement through creativity in every single youth’s presentation, the active interaction of youth through Magic Box, quiz presentation pass through thuse, provide positive feedback against youth. The implication obtained is the significant of an approachment that teachers employed, by utilizing other play methods that is effective will be competent to stimulate proggress of youth’s cognitive aspects.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the role of foster carers in shaping the discipline of santri within pesantren through a humanistic approach. Specifically, the study aims to identify and analyze the ways in which foster carers educate and guide santri to foster discipline, explore the application of the humanistic approach in their interactions with santri, and assess its impact on character development and discipline. This research adopted a qualitative methodology, utilizing a case study design to explore the context and dynamics of the relationship between students and foster carers. The case under investigation is the interaction within a dormitory in a pesantren in Indonesia. Then, the findings of this study underscore the critical role of foster carers in shaping santri discipline. Foster carers are not only responsible for providing guidance and support but also serve as exemplary models of behavior and moral values. The study highlights the significant impact of the foster carers' role in promoting discipline at the boarding school. Through consistent guidance and mentorship, foster carers contribute to the development of a disciplined student body, which subsequently enhances the overall learning environment and activities within the pesantren. The research concludes that the effective role of foster carers is instrumental in improving the quality of education within pesantren, thereby contributing to the holistic development of students, both academically and morally. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian mengenai peran wali asuh dalam membentuk kedisiplinan santri di pesantren melalui pendekatan humanistik yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis peran wali asuh dalam mendidik dan membimbing santri untuk mencapai kedisiplinan, mengkaji bagaimana pendekatan humanistik diterapkan oleh wali asuh dalam interaksi dengan santri dan dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter dan kedisiplinan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus, yang mana pendekatan tersebut bertujuan untuk memahami konteks dan dinamika dari kasus tersebut, serta menghasilkan wawasan yang lebih mendetail mengenai fenomena pada objek yang diteliti, yaitu hubungan antara santri dan wali asuh tepatnya di salah satu asrama pondok pesantren di Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini disebutkan bahwa peran wali asuh di pesantren sangat krusial dalam membentuk kedisiplinan santri. Wali asuh tidak hanya bertugas membimbing dan membina, tetapi juga berperan sebagai teladan dalam perilaku dan nilai-nilai moral. Implikasi dari peran wali asuh dalam pondok pesantren terhadap pembentukan kedisiplinan santri sangat signifikan. Dengan adanya bimbingan yang konsisten dari wali asuh, santri cenderung lebih disiplin, yang berpengaruh positif terhadap proses belajar dan kegiatan dipesantren. Secara keseluruhan, peran wali asuh yang efektif dapat berdampak pada kualitas pendidikan di pesantren dan menghasilkan generasi santri yang lebih baik, baik dalam aspek akademis maupun moral.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of the Scout Movement and Islamic Boarding Schools as agents for character formation and overcoming radicalism among Islamic students. By using a moderation and deradicalization approach, this research explores how these two institutions can collaborate in forming moderate attitudes and preventing potential radicalism among the younger generation. This research method involves interviews, observation and documentation to gain in-depth insight into the moderation programs implemented in the Scout Movement and Islamic boarding schools. Research findings show that the moderation approach in these two institutions includes character education, interfaith dialogue, and balanced development of leadership skills. Apart from that, deradicalization efforts are carried out through a deep understanding of national values, tolerance and intercultural dialogue. The results of this research provide conceptual and practical insights regarding how the Scout Movement and Islamic boarding schools can become effective instruments in responding to the challenges of radicalism. The implications of these findings involve the development of more structured and collaborative moderation programs between educational and religious institutions, aimed at forming the character of the younger generation who are responsible, moderate, and able to maintain diversity in society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the approaches in community building, positive habits in educational institutions, and support services and stakeholders in two educational institutions with a comparative concept in dealing with teacher burnout. The focus of this study is to explore how both institutions implement positive habits and stakeholder engagement in an effort to improve the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which includes observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders in both institutions. The findings indicate that community and positive habits are built through a profoundly spiritual approach, while in the second institution, the main focus is on collaboration between stakeholders and the development of positive habits in the context of modern education. Both institutions show that adequate stakeholder support, such as teacher training and parent involvement, plays an important role in creating a supportive educational environment. The contribution of this study is to provide new insights into understanding the influence of community, positive habits, and the role of stakeholders in improving the quality of education and to suggest an integration between spiritual and modern approaches to achieve more holistic educational success.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology in the era of revolution 5.0, effective education requires the right approach to maintain student engagement and prevent boredom in the teaching and learning process. This study aims to determine students' understanding of the subject matter through a more interactive and relevant approach, namely by utilizing ChatGPT. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study type. The population involved in this study were students of class IX C of SMP Negeri 2 Pakuniran located in Glagah village. To collect data, this study used relevant instruments, namely observation and interviews. The results of the study show that ChatGPT as a learning aid can significantly improve student understanding, proven to be able to provide in-depth explanations and show increased motivation and learning activity. Students show high enthusiasm and curiosity in interacting with ChatGPT. They feel comfortable asking questions and discussing with this AI system because it can answer questions that go beyond the subject matter, especially for material that is difficult to understand. Interaction takes place in real-time so that students get feedback and clarification quickly.

Abstract

In an educational environment, mastery of speaking skills must be prioritized to achieve the expected targets according to applicable standards. At first glance, language mastery, especially students' speaking skills at the elementary school level, are not fully on target. This study aims to describe the use of the storytelling method as an alternative to improving Indonesian speaking skills, to foster appreciation for Indonesian literary works, and to find out the extent of the effect of the storytelling method in improving the speaking skills of class II MI Misbahul Fata students. This classroom action research uses the Kemmis and Mc spiral model design. Taggart which has four cycle components. Each research cycle includes stages; planning, observation and reflection. The subject of this study was students of class II MI Misbahul Fata, who in fact were in the Islamic boarding school environment, Klenang Kidul Village, Banyuanyar District, totaling 12 students. The problem that is rife with students is that they usually mix their mother tongue with the national language. There are several steps to implementing this storytelling method; The first is the opening stage, the second is the storytelling stage, the third is the closing and evaluation stage. In the early stages, the acquisition of student scores was 64.6% in the initial cycle from the previous data of approximately 59.5%, in the second cycle the average was 71.25%. In cycle I the completeness of the number of participants was around 58.3%, from cycle I it increased to 83.3% in cycle II. With these results, it can be concluded that the storytelling method can support students' speaking skills.

Abstract

The role of the head is very necessary in managing an institution to be more developed, the role of the head is also very helpful in the progress of the program carried out by the institution where the head can manage and motivate all components of the school with the right strategy.  This study aims to analyze and understand the strategy of a leader in increasing reading interest in students by implementing literacy culture in a school, namely MI Ihyauddiniyah, Duren Village, Gading District, Probolinggo Regency.  The research method uses a qualitative approach from the type of case study, to get an overview of a leader's strategy in increasing reading interest in students by applying literacy culture, observation of researchers by mingling directly in the field then conducting interviews with several informants, namely principals and teachers at school. The results showed that a leader's strategy in increasing reading interest in students by implementing literacy culture by; Compulsory reading culture, strengthening human resources, and procuring infrastructure. With the strategy carried out by the leadership in building a literacy culture, it can have implications for fostering children's interest in reading, writing skills, language proficiency and work, especially at MI Ihyauddiniyah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dampak penggunaan aplikasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam proses pembelajaran disekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan dampak pemanfaatan aplikasi kecerdasan buatan dalam proses pembelajaran disekolah. Subjek penelitian mencakup kepala sekolah, guru serta siswa di sekolah. Sumber data yang digunakan berasal dari litertur, jurnal ilmiah dan temuan observasi dilapangan, sementara itu pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tiga teknik utama, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa dampak memanfaatkan aplikasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam pembelajaran membawa manfaat yang besar dalam mengembangkan literasi digital disekolah. Dalam pelaksanaan tersebut di MI Raudlatussalam memanfaatkan video animasi berbasis AI dalam proses pembelajaran serta menggunakan teknologi pada pelaksanaan ujian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa memanfaatkan aplikasi kecerdasan buatan dalam pembelajaran tidak hanya membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir mereka, akan tetapi membantu siswa mengenalkan siswa pada dunia digital serta mempersiapkan tantangan dimasa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep transformasi pendidikan karakter dalam mewujudkan kesadaran diri siswa. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi non partisipan, wawancara mendalam terhadap 5 orang informan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan kondensasi, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi dalam melaksanakan transformasi pendidikan karakter dalam mewujudkan kesadaran diri siswa adalah melalui 1) Metode pembelajaran berbasis nilai dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter ke dalam kurikulum, khususnya pada mata pelajaran agama dan kewarganegaraan; 2) Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis karakter, dan 3) Keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat yang melibatkan mereka dalam diskusi rutin tentang pendidikan karakter sehingga menunjukkan hasil yang lebih positif. Kendala dalam proses ini meliputi kurangnya pelatihan guru, keterbatasan waktu dan beban kurikulum, dan kurangnya partisipasi orang tua. Namun demikian, ada tantangan yang harus diatasi, seperti pengaruh negatif media sosial dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi pendidik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih komprehensif dan berkelanjutan, termasuk peningkatan kompetensi guru, penguatan peran keluarga, dan pemanfaatan teknologi secara bijak untuk memaksimalkan efektivitas pendidikan karakter dalam membangun kesadaran diri siswa.
