The lack of interest in this subject is the issue in private high school students continuing their education at tertiary institutions. The number demonstrates this of private high schools at Ogan Komering Ilir district in 2021, where 67% will continue on to the world of work and 33% will continue on to the higher education level. tall. This study seeks to fill that gap by investigating and determining the impact of social status and environmental conditions on the interest of private high school students in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in carrying out their tertiary-level education. Quantitative research methodology was applied for the study. Data regarding the effect of changing social status and environmental conditions in the community on the interest of private high school students in continuing on to tertiary institutions is presented in the form of quantitative data, which is analysed using parametric statistics. The research subject was 696 people, and the number of samples representing the research subjects was 248 people. Of these 248 people, 20–30 people per school will be randomly selected from each school. The research results obtained a correlation between social status (X1) and environmental conditions (X2), together with the interests of private high school students in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This value indicates the relationship category "high" for Continuing to Higher Education (Y) of 0.636a. Considering the conversation that has taken place, this study succeeded in describing the magnitude of the influence shown by each variable as a contribution or each independent variable's contribution to the dependent variable, showing that the contribution partially and simultaneously influenced significantly. while the contribution of other variables is 59.5%.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning facilities and curriculum suitability on the students' interest of private vocational high school at Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in continuing their studies to higher education. In this study, 217 samples were taken randomly from each school. 42% of each school was taken to fulfill minimum number of samples. This study used multiple correlational method by analyzing the relationship between variables, by testing the instruments through testing validity and reliability. The results of the study showed that there was correlation between learning facilities (X1) and curriculum suitability (X2) with the students’ interests of private vocational high school at Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in continuing to higher education (Y) of 0.627a; so the value indicates the category of relationship was "high." The contribution of the learning facilities and the curriculum suitability variables partially and simultaneously influences the students’ interest of private vocational high school at Ogan Komering Ilir Regency significantly by 40.7%. The low quality of school was based on the role of teachers and headmaster. The leadership of headmaster is an important one to upgrade the quality of school. To improve the quality education, the headmaster should have a clear vission which is oriented to the quality of school. The continuous professional development of headmaster should be applied. The professional headmaster will understand the needs of education. The objectives of this research were 1) describing the funding of educational resources in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang; 2) describing the realization and allocation the funding in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang; and 3) describing the characteristics of accountability the funding in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. This research was qualitative. We studied the problems not to prove neither to reject the hypothesis that was made in the past nor to process data and analyze problem in non-numerically. Sources of income in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang listed on Budget Plan (RAPBS). The sources were come from APBN, APBD of Province, and APBD of Palembang. The allocation of funds generally used to make equalization in education and conducted to improve the quality of education. Basically, education is the process of cultural inheritance from the former generation to the younger ones. One of the core values of character that must be instilled to the students is the value of honesty. Boarding school is a mean to instill honesty value for student. The purpose of this study was to find out how big the effort of MAN 3 Palembang in fostering the value of honesty for student through boarding school activities was. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in MAN 3 Palembang. Data collection techniques used to obtain data in this study were observation, interviews, documentation. The result showed that the planting of honesty value in MAN 3 Palembang consists of several coaching activities (1) activity of faith building and piety to God Almighty, (1) enforcement of discipline. The coaching of the value honesty is implemented through several strategies and approaches as follows: (1) integration of honesty and ethics values in boarding school activities, (1) internalization of honesty values embedded by all students (3) training, (4) giving examples, (5) creating an atmosphere of character in the boarding school, and (6) the culture of honesty in the boarding school. The program implementation of the value honesty in accordance with the book order boarding. The problem in this study was the lack of attention of students to the material delivered by the lecturers so that there are still many student grades under mastery. The independent variable (X) the use of the application of humanistic learning theory and dependent variable (Y) learning outcomes. The results of data analysis obtained from a simple linear regression equation, Y = 67.64 + 15.94X, it can be stated that there is an influence of the application of humanistic learning theory on student learning outcomes in entrepreneurship courses and the results of hypothesis testing expressed by the test "t" is tcount = 8,48> ttable = 1,992. the magnitude of the effect is 45%, while the level of the relationship of variables (free) to the application of humanistic learning theory to the variable (bound) learning outcomes with the magnitude of the effect is 0.67 (in sufficient categories)

This research aimed at determining the influence of teacher professionalism and headmaster supervision on teacher performance. This has implemented in SMP Negeri Sub Rayon 16 Sukarami District Palembang City. The quantitative is used for this research. Simple and multiple regression are used for this research methodology. The sample was 113 teachers of SMP Negeri Sub Rayon 16 Sukarami District Palembang City. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire. The result found that (1) there is significant influence of teacher professionalism on teacher performance; (2) there is significant influence of headmaster supervision on teacher performance; and (3) there is significant influence for both teacher professionalism and headmaster supervision on teacher performance.

The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants that influence student learning achievement. The population in this study was class XII students, totaling 521 people. Sampling in this study was random sampling from 52 students. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection is done by questionnaire, and documentation. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics, hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression, t test and f test. From the results of this study it can be concluded that 1) there is an influence of learning motivation on learning achievement, 2) there is an influence of learning interest on learning achievement, 3) there is no influence on the economic condition of the family on learning. achievement, 4) there is an influence on the level of parental education on learning achievement, 5) there is an influence on learning motivation, learning interest, family economic situation, parental education level on learning achievement.The implication for educators is to always motivate, and develop students' interest in learning and achievement.

This study aimed at determining whether there is an influence of school committees and principals' leadership on improving the quality of education. This research was conducted at Sukarami District Palembang Junior High School. This research is quantitative, while the method used is simple regression and multiple regression. The sample in this study were 148 committee members and teachers. Data were collected using questionnaire. The results of the study concluded that (1) there was a significant influence on the school committee on improving the quality of education; (2) there was a significant influence of the principal’s leadership on improving the quality of education; and (3) there was a significant influence jointly the school committee and the principal's leadership on improving the quality of education.

This research determined the relationship between teacher certification and work motivation to teacher performance. The population taken in this research are teachers who have been certified to the state Junior high School in Kertapati district of Palembang for 94 people and the sample is the entire population. Research conducted following quantitative descriptive research procedures. The methods used in this research are quantitative descriptive giving answers to the formulation of this research problem. Therefore, the main data used in this research form a number. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations, documentation and library studies. The results of the study showed (1) the teacher's certification and work motivation positively affect the teacher's performance, (2) The certification of teachers positively impact the teacher's performance, (3) The motivation of work positively influence the teacher's performance.
