Abstract

Changes in learning methods cause a crucial decrease in physical education needs and time of involvement in physical activity, which can affect individual stress levels. The objective of this study was to find out the comparison of physical activity patterns and stress levels between blended versus conventional learning methods. This study used quasi-experimental with a posttest-only approach with a control group design. The total subjects were 160 sports students from Universitas Jambi, who were divided into two groups (Experiment and Control) with average age of 21.69 ± 1.33 years, weight of 55.74 ± 6.48 kg, height of 170.10 ± 5.51 cm, and BMI of 21.06 ± 2.77 kg/m2. The results showed that the blended learning group had a lower level of physical activity when compared to their respective conventional groups. Furthermore, the stress level in the blended learning group had a moderate stress while the conventional group had a low-stress. Thus, the research findings have answered the question that physical activity can affect an individual’s stress level, and conventional learning methods are still the best method compared to blended learning methods. This finding can be used as a reference, especially for educators, both lecturers and teachers in schools, to be able to take a spiritual approach and invite students to do activities they like, such as exercise and recreation, to trigger a sense of enthusiasm in students to continue to improve their fitness degree. Therefore, this will have an impact on mental health, which can affect student stress levels much lower.

Abstract

The exchange of information between devices in a network is very important for efficiency and collaboration. One technology that supports the exchange of information is File Sharing and Remote Desktop Connection (RDC). This research aims to implement these two technologies in a Local Area Network (LAN) to facilitate file exchange and remote access to computer desktops. File sharing allows users to easily share data and resources between computers on a network. This study examines various methods and protocols used in file sharing, such as SMB (Server Message Block) and FTP (File Transfer Protocol), as well as RDC mechanisms such as RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol). This research also explores the security challenges faced in the implementation of these two technologies, including threats to data privacy and the potential for unauthorized access. Implementation begins with a stable and secure LAN network configuration. Then, using file sharing protocols such as SMB (Server Message Block) or NFS (Network File System), users can share and access files between devices on the network easily. Additionally, by utilizing the Remote Desktop Connection service, users can access a computer's desktop remotely from other devices on the network, allowing for efficient system administration as well as access to applications and files located on that desktop. The implementation methods used include configuring network settings, installing and configuring file sharing software and Remote Desktop Connection services, as well as testing to ensure optimal connection and security. Through case studies and experiments, this research proves that the use of LAN as network infrastructure can support high performance and stability in implementing file sharing and RDC. By utilizing a LAN, this research shows that implementing file sharing and RDC can improve operational efficiency and collaboration in the work environment. The results of this implementation are expected to increase productivity and collaboration in a LAN environment by enabling easy and secure access to files and computer desktops from various locations on the network and emphasize the importance of strong security settings and user training to maximize the benefits of this technology in local networks.

Abstract

Abstract

The Indonesian government implemented the Village Fund policy 2014 to encourage development and reduce rural poverty. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Village Fund on poverty in North Aceh District. The research method uses descriptive analysis, focusing on the Village Fund variable, the poverty variable, and Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) as a representation of the number of poor people, and the Developing Villages Index (IDM) variable as a representation of poverty in the context of village development. The villages of Cot Girek, Pulo Dulang, Grong-Grong, Cot Trueng, and Meunasah Lhok were selected as case examples to provide a more comprehensive picture. The research found that during the 2018-2023 period, Village Fund allocations in North Aceh Regency fluctuated, poverty rates decreased, and village development increased significantly. Within five years, more than 50% of villages in North Aceh changed their status from underdeveloped to developing villages. Fluctuations in the Village Fund also occurred in the five research villages, and there was an increase in the number of poor BLT recipients in several villages. The five villages continued to experience holistic village development, including social, economic, and ecological improvements.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between economic interests and legal formation through the lens of Max Weber's perspective. The key issue addressed is the extent to which economic factors influence legal structures and their reciprocal impact on economic systems. The objective is to analyze how economic rationality shapes lawmaking processes and the implications for modern transactions. The study employs a qualitative method, relying on textual analysis of Weber’s works and related legal theories. The findings reveal that economic interests are fundamental drivers of legal predictability, calculability, and stability, which are essential for fostering business growth and investment confidence. However, the tension between formal legal rationality and substantive justice poses challenges to achieving equity. These insights underscore the necessity of a structured legal framework that aligns with dynamic economic needs while ensuring fairness. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of the interplay between economics and law, offering guidance for policymakers to balance economic progress with social equity.
